Since this video is about comfort on the bike, my question is somewhat related. I like to do short to medium tours. If I were to do 30-40 mile rides (maybe even 40-50+ mile rides) since you ride both Bromptons and "regular" non-folding bikes, do you find a major difference in comfort, stress, efficiency etc. between the two styles? I would be riding an M6R vs. a Surly LHT and keeping within load limits for the rear rack and the front bag. Thank you.

Great choices. The Surly is a great touring Bike, and if well fit for you, it will provide more comfort for medium to long rides.
The Brompton will give you more freedom, you take it with you wherever you go. Inside every coffee shop, stores, toilets...
This way, there is no chance to be stolen.
I love to biketouring with my Brompton, it is easy to hop in and out and is always with me.

I'm still using the Titanium seatpost. It works great.
The only downside is that the black paint has some scratches now, but it does not interfere with the seatpost perfect use.
I like it very much. I do recommend replacing the original with a Titanium Seatpost. Much lighter.

What is the brand of yours? Isn't it too flexible compared to the steel one?
Black is indeed fashionable, but it gets scratched and dirty much more easily I think, I am happy to have been able to still get a Brompton with silver parts

For now I'm using a 535 mm ordinary black titanium seat post for its low weight, and fold ability, but I also have a 600 mm titanium post with an integrated ring on top for the saddle, and less weight from that, but no theft security, as it may be removed from the top. But the first may be bought from China for about the same price as an ordinary Brompton seat post from England! Finn. Denmark
