I also suspected a fuel grommet problem with mine. Before buying one though, I tried what one of your commenters did by reworking the old grommet and running regular fuel line thru it. Worked great! Thanks.
I'm no expert by any means. However, when you prime it with the bubble. Go to full choke. Start trying to start it. If it hits, farts,hick-ups even just once. Then take the choke to half off or even full off. At that point. Your in danger of flooding it. Again my 2 cents. Yours may be completely different
Most not always but most times if you depress the bulb and it wont go in it's because the fuel lines are backwards .under the bulb is a hole that makes the fuel only flow 1 way. Or the metering diaphragm is too stiff,lever arm not set to the correct height, clogged screen in carb, or 999 other things. New carb $15 on amazon. 👍💰
ulitepilot aka Zombie Dave You can say what you want about the Chinese carbs but my record has been about 50-50 with them. Agreed on the diaphragms and gaskets they were probably suspect as well. Sometimes you get lucky with just a quick cleanup
These are the Biggest pieces of Shit i have been unfortunate to own. 50 pulls to get it to run.. jets have to be constantly adjusted fuel caps leak and the spools are fucking junk!!!!
