as a day 1 darklord player it is very cool to see this deck still being remembered by some. and you convinced me to try out darklord desire^^
a couple of ideas for the deck: angel o1(free link material or tribute fodder), trias hierarchia (interruption even from the gy) and the new card Shadow's light that will probably come to the tcg in 2023. this card does so much for the deck. if you have superbia or nergal on the field, you can summon chaos goddess, augoeides, archlord kristya or even arcana force xxi for free! plus it can give you a 2nd normal summon.

That's true, but at least Dark Lord could synergize very well with other fairy archetypes.

Konami, we need a structure deck. Best opportunity to reprint droplet as well along with witch and the other forbidden quick-play spells

You should consider angel 01, greater poly or necrofusion, which u could summon first darklord on ur opponents turn to activate its boardwipe effect.
Another tech card i use is archlord kristya 😀

I have a darklord despia deck and it’s beautifully destructive. I use greater polymerization using Dramturge, Morningstar, and another fairy to bring out The First Darklord and then, special summon Dramturge. Then, normal summon aluber and special summon Despia Quaritis or Masquerade. Board wipe and OTK

Do you think that Dark Lord could work very well when it is combined with Ishizu cards? I'm very curious to know how well that combination could fair against the current Meta.

Most likely no. The deck already bricks a lot, and while darklords do like to be in grave, they typically need to be sent there with other darklord effects or spells like trade in, otherwise the deck loses advantage far too quickly and you run out of plays.

​@@michaelschweller5458 basically this. I added one of each of the millers to my build, and drawing them sucks even more than drawing Morningstar if I don't have Twin Twisters or a sided Book of Lunar Eclipse.
They basically amount to "win more" cards, since the most reliable send is with Morningstar's mill effect. And even then, the fact that Morningstar is on the field means you basically already won.

Personally, I would reduce Darklord Superbia to one, Indulged to two, Nasten to two, Ukoback to one or two, Desire seems like an interesting play… probably reduce EEV to two… put in three The First (Lucifer) and Condemned… IP Mascu- everyone’s favourite card seems like a good card. I’d say set up to Create The First and do the Ukoback loop. Summon, send, use another Darklord to play that cards effect. Use Ukoback for Link, resummon and start the process over again.
