Thankfully after 3 years of running 395's on my bobbed deuce I have yet to have to add any air to the tires, another example of keep it simple. Im sure ctis is awesome to have on a NEW truck in COMBAT. Love the videos keep um coming
My problem is the CTIS system on my 932A2 is working mostly okay.... and I really like it.... but I know it's only a matter of time before it's going to give me serious problems and I'm trying to build an ultra reliable vehicle so I'll have to get rid of it. .. it was one of the three big reasons I bought this particular truck in the first place 10 years ago... oh well..live and learn.
Outstanding video! Clear and very simple to follow along. I haven't worked on a 900 series since retiring in '07. You must have been a Bravo. If so, thanks for serving! Walt-Dog7 Out!
@@tacticalrepair The M35 A 3, an even bigger HEAD ACHE, w/ CTIS! DON'T BROKE IT, IF IT AIN'T FIXED! The "good idea" fairy came along and Threw a wrench in the mix!
We have the Same Truck on our Highway Department, the problem we are having is that light for the HW keeps flashing and it don't Hold air in the Primary and Secondary, and the Air pressure drops below 60PSI and I have to Constantly Push the gas pedal down would you think it's the Air Governor and if so where is it located at on the truck? Thanks
No it's almost certainly the purge valve on the bottom of the air dryer leaking. They're notorious for it. The governor is only a problem if you don't build air at all or if it builds too much air.
@@tacticalrepair Yeah it's Crazy we can't hear any leaks anywhere and when we step on the Brakes and hold them we can't hear any air pissing out from anywhere it's super Annoying
You have no idea how much you saved my ass. I’ve literally ran through this entire truck and even have manuals
Really glad to hear that.
To surprise,I never have had CTIS issues with any trucks like I hear others say about. It helped me quite a bit when I was in Hurricane Harvey.
The only truck that puts me to sleep as a passenger, I love the sound of this soothing engine ZZzzzzzzz
Just what I was looking for. Thanx!

Great advice, thanks for sharing!
Put some duct tape over the beeper, under the dash on the driver side left wall.

Good vid
I want to know more information, can you help me?
Sounds like something great to have in theory, but in real-life not so much. Can you by-pass so the system doesn't cause problems?
T j , you can unplug the controller, remove all the wheel valves and weights, and block the air passages in the hubs. Many people do this.

@@tacticalrepair Hmmmmm and we just replaced the Purge Valve on the Bottom of the Air Dryer too
@@craigcolantoni6773 check it again and then start looking for other leaks. You have a large leak somewhere.
