  • www.chapman.edu/CES Chapman University, in conjunction with the Challenged Athletes Foundation, presents double amputee and runner Jami Goldman-Marseilles recounting her harrowing tale of nearly dying in a blizzard. As a child, Jami Goldman-Marseilles never enjoyed physical activity. In fact, she often avoided it as much as possible. One day, after emerging from an unthinkable eleven days stranded in a car during a terrible snowstorm in a desolate area of Arizona, Jami lost both her legs to frost bite. Thus, she then turned to exercise to help in recovery and excel in her new life. Hear Jami speak at SCAR Strength Conditioning and Rehab Center about her sheer endurance and survival, how she became a double amputee and why exercise is important to her recovery and life.
