Ren is a one in a generation artist. Im so impressed with his versatality its incredible how different yet still amazing his songs are❤
I'm pretty sure when he would be filming videos in brighton, the people are just like.... oh, its ren....doing ren things. 😂😂💜💜😁 and I'm also pretty sure the police knew who ren was bc I'm sure they would get calls when he does some crazy shit and the cops are prolly just like....oh, its ren....doing ren stuff. 😂
I think that's probably true now, but back in the earlier videos, not so much. He talked on twitch once about nearly getting arrested when he was practicing for Money Game 1.
Yep Ren’s philosophy is it’s better to ask for forgiveness than ask for permission 😼 But that’s when he turns on the charm. And I don’t think it phases him if there are people around.
Nah Brighton is full of artists busking everywhere and eccentric people, but Ren sure is the most talented one coz no one ever got a crowd like his ☺This is one of my favorite song, lots of references to his other songs and to the nineties ♥

Ren does a lot of "just for fun" songs - his "Love Music" series being a great example of that. With Love Music pt1, i believe it was written before he got ill, or at least it was written to come out on his album before he was dropped by Sony. He ended up getting clearance to self release it on his debut album, Freckled Angels which also saw him release the then new pt 2. Pt 3 i think came in around 2020 and pt4 in 2023. Its intresting because it kinda shows a development in his approach to song writing. Pt 1 is so optimistic and full of hope and by pt 4 its so cynical and defeatist - yet somehow the whole series is still very lighthearted and fun
This is the best song about losing things since U2 couldn't find what they were looking for.

For future reference: Any Ren song that has "Retake" in the title is another artists song that he took and changed. All of them are fire. His retakes of Fatboy Slim, SBTRKT, Foo Fighters, all of them amazing.

Oh I fucking love Ren’s cheeky sense of humour 😂 And it’s always great to see him have fun despite everything he has and is still going through. He shares his pain making us feel less alone and shares the good times to cheer us up with the contagious energy and cheekiness 🐰🕳️
Ren doesn't get enough credit for how funny he can be, IMO. Probably, because it's hard to believe anyone can be so many things all at once.

I love the fun songs Ren does as well, another banger is Down on the Beat, check that one out too if you haven't already, it features Viktus, another rapper and friend of Ren. You can actually see him in this video, the shot in the car with Ren and a guy to each side of him, he is the guy on the left of the screen.
