Don’t forget progesterone is very important too in order to keep us calm and promotes sleep. It’s also the first hormone to dip.

In my experience, there is nothing to worry about! I am 55, i hit the menopause at 51. Nothing bad has happend. My period has just stoped. But i did'nt have any negative experiences. Actually i've suddently dropped weight from 57 kg to 54 . I think, the key is the regular exercise, good diet and a proper use of HRT.

@@christinas2188 Each woman should consult with their OBGYN when getting on HRT. If you are at a higher risk for cancer then they will guide you thru. However if women are chronically low on estrogen levels they develop osteoporosis, higher risk for alzhiemers and heart disease, both which are life threatening.

My menopause just started & I'm 53. Hearing the negative side effects frighten me. I'm crazy active! I still have 6 packs and my diet's still the same. I don't crave or get hungry. My diet has always been clean (no meat & lotsa superfoods). I'm seeing my PCP in few days to discuss HRT.

I had a hysterectomy 4 yrs ago, and menopause hasn't been near as difficult for me, but I take one mg of estrogen replacement, changed my diet, and exercise regularly. Menopause doesn't have to be this horrible time in your life. For me, it's been liberating, and it feels like I've started a better life now. 🥂💃

I eat healthy but I do have my downfalls and that's why I listen to Jillian a lot and TRY to manage my stress, improve sleep, decrease sugar (because I love chocolate) and doing my best. But let's love our bodies, accept the natural process we are going through and be grateful that we are healthy. Good luck 🤗🤗🤗

Thanks for doing this, Jillian! I would be early in the game and on the younger side...but sometimes I think I might be in perimenopause. I'm really interested in natural tips and methods of regulation. I have ocular (aura only) migraines and I've been told I cannot take estrogen because this may signal that estrogen use could put me at a higher risk of stroke than average. Who knew? I'm really hoping somebody solves this whole menopause thing in the next decade because I know i'm going to be somewhat limited in how I can go after it. Here's hoping..but I know better than to hold my breath.
