Sugar addiction is a mfer. I have an absolute sweet tooth. What works for me is....everything in moderation including moderation. Working out is key too. Once I start working out,it seems to change everything including eating habits.
Totally agree. It helps me to workout. After I have beasted myself, I can't bear the thought of having to carry around what I have eaten on the next workout.
Binge watching your videos, I’ve had weight/body issues since I can remember. Coming from a Hispanic family that would body shame all the time. I watched your videos since I was 12 trying to get “skinny” I’m 30 and you’ve helped me get in the best shape of my life once and I know it can happen again! I trust you so it’s easy to listen to you! ❤️
Please do a "what I eat in a day/week", "skincare/bodycare routines", "makeup tutorial/fave products", "hair tutorial/fave products", "supplements", and "favorite snacks" videos .... your glowing 🌞 💜
On it!

She's glowing because she's fit and healthy AF. Lol 💯
My mum does all your workouts she says your amazing and all you DVDs are better than any other ever ☺greetings from SCOTLAND 👋🏻
Well in the UK you have Lucy Wyndham. She's pretty good too.
Scottish folks scare me lol
I love how optimistic are about common sense when comes to food. I love that you nailed it, yes is not about diet, but portion control and quality of food.
I know what you mean when you say you feel better after having done a workout. I don't LOVE working out, lol! Its just something I force myself to do because I made a choice to be healthy, but I feel great after having done it.
Amen! I don't get people who say: "Find exercise or a sport you enjoy". Oh hell no! I will never love exercising or sports BUT what I do love is the feeling after and becoming more physically fit!
@@PurplePinkRed LOL, yep no pain, no gain, lol!
I listen to your channel every single day. I have lost 19 pounds in 12 weeks. I am going to be 41 this year. I want to look and feel better. I am more motivated than ever. Thank you for all you do! God bless you!
Yes girl! We on that train 🚂 ❤️❤️❤️
I’ve realized that I totally have to restrict my sugar and carb intake as I’m one that just can’t have a slice of pizza or a cookie or two. It’s like an addiction thus I’m now doing Intermittent fasting and really choosing foods that are healthy for my body vs foods that have empty calories. My sugar now comes from a piece of fruit. And I’m feeling soo much better. Thank you for your videos and information! 🙏❤️
😍 so glad you are feeling better. food is powerful!
make a healthy smoothie! that helps my sugar cravings
Intermittent Fasting has been great for me. I started at 14:10 and am now at 16:8. Has really helped me control appetite, cut out sugars, increase water intake and am averaging 2lb a week weight loss. Thank you for discussing fruit, so many diets are against it because of the sugar but I will have a peach over a cookie any day. Thanks for the info and support. Love this and your app.
Be really careful with fasting... it works wonders but it can really creat a eating disorder . Stay positive and keep going.
I watched your video on calorie counting 5 weeks ago... it made me realise that it wasn’t that hard and it’s just math.
12.5 lbs down and I’m just eating better( counting calories) and moving more. I’m pretty bloody shocked that all it took was watching your video. You are a very good motivator. I know it’s what ya do.... but I’m just saying 😊 Cheers!
It's simple science :) I'd love to take credit, but it is that simple. EASY it is not so you better be damn proud of yourself.
You have to take it one day at a time and enjoy the process and don’t feel guilty as tomorrow a new day
I saw your mom for therapy (unrelated for food issues) and she helped me a lot 🙏🏽
I don't know why people give you sick a hard time - I absolutely love you , you are honest and right to the point - no bs
I love you miss Jillian because you're not crazy and it's easy to follow your recommendations.
I love kickboxing recently- it helps with all the frustration. It absolutly helps to get your head in the right space
Jill, I love you and your way of motivating people 😎 Thank you for all those videos! I just listen to you and stare at your stunning arms, and I immediately want to become better!
Your words and knowledge always brings me peace and makes me feel confident to restart exercising and eating better quality food! Love from Brazil.
I want to say a big thank you to Jillian for making such great workout videos... really life changing thank you! crushing the UK lockdown with the 30 day shred amongst others videos of yours, no gym no problem! personally I found your workouts are well thought out and really have improved my posture. Other bonus is these methods really help me to balance out any sugar cravings! but I am sure most people here already are aware of your fantastic videos! Thank you again!
This was much needed....I will try and reflect on your voice and words of reason
You’re amazing, so knowledgeable
Jillian,
You made very good points!
Thank you Jillian for the facts and truth when it comes to food and health.
Love this! So practical and doable. I love sugar! And crave it in the evening. I've been doing yoga every night (yoga with adriene) and notice that bc I value this part of my day, I don't want to ruin it with feeling heavy or stuffed from too much food or sugar. And thanks for making counseling a priority for those really struggling. Destigmatizing mental health is so important! 💛💛💛
Thank you Jillian for your advice ! 💪
I needed this reassurance and thank you
Love your common sense and balance!

Rituals and rewards. Guilty as charged. Spot on, Jillian. 👍
Re-breaking up with soda. This popped up at just the right time. Thank youuuuu!
These are also great tips for life and how to change behaviors
I think these are great tips that apply to more than sugar , but many aspects of life. Thank you my gorgeous Jill 🥰

Wow. This was mind blowing. I not only receive this personally, I want to know more about next steps. Please have your team reach out to me. You are a gift!
Nothing ever felt so real as your cake pop story. Preach.
😅
I just started making dried fruit and I love it. Fresh dried fruit is amazing. . Cut out sweets except for 1 lollipop a day and I'm working on stopping that
You are a great motivator 👏👏👏
thank you so much 😊
Thank you for these videos!
pleasure is mine 🙂
Hi Jillian thanks for the advice Cynthia Boucher your videos are wonderful
❤️
So good. Breaking up with sugar- it's an addiction for me. Thanks for all the tips and realistic timeline. Going to be stocking up on fruit.
Thank you for being honest and saying the changes take about a month to get your body to adjust. Also, for a few of us, exercise does not make us feel better after. I feel much worse physically and mentally after working out. But I still try to do it hoping it will one day help my body.
Dear Jillian, I love all your tee shirts and hair in these videos, the information is great too!! 😃
😍
When I want sugar I make sure I work for it. (Move around/exercise) I also budget it into my calories. 👍🏽
Hi Jillian! You look amazing! Can you do a video about how to reduce self-sabotage and how to practice moderation when one can’t stop?
Such good advice and some new tips I never heard before, I really need this I've been clean off drugs 6 years but picked up sugar. Renewed motivation to go again and kick it for good👍😊
Love to see a full video of you excersizing
I've had covid twice and put on a lot of weight in lockdown and am no pre diabetic I'm trying to get on track whilst still battling long term affects
Your videos are helping and hopefully can get more on track
Hello 😄😄😄
After I watched your video on calories I bought a calorie and carbs book. Since I started keeping tract my sugar levels ( I'm diabetic ) went from 16.5 to 7.8. This is awesome but I have a little ways to go and to stay on track like I knew I should.
Your video's are amazing.
😍
Thank you 😁
Can you discuss "skinny fat" and how to get rid of it?
Start lifting weights
Lift weights , more protein
Jillian, you are awesome and your advice is so helpful. By the way, Boursin is still sold in Montreal!
I could seriously watch you all day...so motivating. Keep em coming. Once I reach the weight I want...do I just keep eating healthy (obviously yes) but just up the calories to maintain the weight? if so, to what? even to output?
Ugh...the two ads I got before this video ran was one for fresh baked chocolate chip cookies and the other for takeout pizza! That's just not fair!
Thanks Lady!!!
pleasure is mine :)
Great video! I would love to hear your thoughts on R.D and nutritionist and the wellness space in general. Advice on cutting through the b.s.- whether moving into that career or seeking guidance.
Jillian who was the Hypnotherapist you had on your podcast? I’d love to hear that episode in your postcard channel.
Thanks for sharing & being so informative.
It actually makes me so happy to hear that you too 'steal candy (or cake pops) from your babies'. I do this A LOT! They are older now, so I can't lie about what happened to the sweets. Eek! Thanks for showing that you have weaknesses too x
During lockdown I had so many sweets, resulted in five expensive cavities
Iv been sugar free for 3 months 👍
Jillian you’re so pretty!
You have such beautiful eyes 👀 😘 I started my fitness journey with your videos years ago and still love them ❤️
Hypnotherapy has been very effective for me when it comes to changing my behavior and eating patterns. The subconscious program of comforting or rewarding myself with sweets and soda has significantly changed. 🙏
Okay Jillian you Totaline hit the nail on the head. For me sugar or eating sugar is more of a ritual thing to me then a mental thing. After a stressful week working at a crappy job dealing with crappy people every Friday or Saturday night I will get a pint of Ben & Jerry's and I will sit in my bed and watch Netflix and eat the entire thing. That said during the week I don't eat unhealthy food. I drink lots of water I don't drink sodas or juices or alcohol, I do not eat a lot of carbs, and I don't overeat as well. So to me having that one pint once a week after eating really good all week doesn't really seem that bad to me anyway. It's pretty much the only sugar I get all week long besides the creamer in my coffee
Just seeing this..needed it desperately. Started my 30 days today. Motivation has to come when you start..right??..lol thx JM!!
Omg, Jillian said "there was this garlic cheese I loved..." and I knew my girl was talking about Boursin because same, Queen...same. 🧀 ❤
I love this!! Can you talk about how to support your vital organs (i.e. liver) through diet and exercise?
I clicked so fast! I definitely have a sugar problem 😢 lol thanks for the advice !!
The problem is carbs they make you to want more. Give up the carbs you will feel better. Keto is the best diet
@@lindaevans2535 I actually just recently gave up the carbs. It’s been going great. My body is look good. Definitely see a change. But I’m not going to lie, I low key crave some sweets lol
“Don’t have it in the house” 👏👏 that’s the tip that helps me the most. If I buy lots of sweets = I’ll eat lots of sweets. Usually when the craving strikes I’m too lazy to go out to the store to get something in that moment.
Love your videos look forward to them. Especially this one about sugar . Sugar is my vice.
you're not alone - but you can change that narrative!
This is sooo good, Jillian could you please create playlists in your app? i loved your womenshealth workouts tunes loved it! could you also please have some hypnotherapy in the app, and a reset diet to get over the bio chemical addictions LOVING THE APP so much
😍 glad you are loving the app! those are great suggestions i will bring them up to the team
Thank you for being so relatable and honest in your tips. I think mine is rituals with sugar. And relief of stress. I will try.
I will try the fruit ann
Dried strawberry sales increased 300% since this video. I loooove her so much. This expert advice is incredibly valuable. Starting tomorrow, I’m going cold turkey.
I did that hypnotherapy thing on myself actually!!!
How about skincare , what do you put on your face ?!! Because your skin is amazing!! 😳 I would love to know your morning routine and night routine with skincare . Thx ☺️
This is helpful. I need ro find something to replace the nightly glass of wine.
Love your youtube videos. Been reading your books, doing the DVD's 5x a week and seeing amazing results. I'm starting to dip my toe into organic and wondering if there are like, 5 items I "need" to be buying organic?
Thanks for your share. I appreciate your ideas and advice. I have not had a cookie in 5 yrs, because they were definitely my Achilles heel, although I have other sugar addictions.
5 years! Bravo!
Also a great book I recommend is “The Hungry Brain Book by Stephan J. Guyenet” really really good
Love your to the point no nonsense videos. I have a question about spondylosis and chronic pain and exercise. I'm 52 now and find that my biggest fear is injuring myself further during exercise which results in procrastination for any type of exercise. Any suggestions on how to get out of my own mind and just get started..?
Hey Jillian, love all the advice, makes sense to me. I would like to hear what you think of fitness suplements: the pre/post workout stuff, the hydration packets, the slim and lean products; there seems to be a lot of chemical s out there that you can put in your body. Do they work, should we be using them, should we be avoiding them? What are your thoughts on this?
You are the best ! Thanks for lowering my stress I'll keep having my date square. ;-)
