- Why beaches in Jamaica are the most beautiful beaches in the world.
There are 3 factors that make Jamaican beaches so special:
1. There is a wide variety of beaches: white sand beaches, black sand beaches and golden sand beaches.
The most famous would be:
- Seven Mile Beach, Negril, Jamaica
- Treasure Beach in Treasure Beach, Jamaica
- Doctor's Cave Beach, Montego Bay, Jamaica
2. There is gorgeous landscape surrounding Jamaican beaches, which you won't find common in other parts of the world.
Some of the most beautiful landscapes can be found in:
- Lime Cay, Kingston, Jamaica
- San San Beach, Portland, Jamaica
- Dunn's River Falls and Beach Park, Ocho Rios, Jamaica
3. The beaches in Jamaica are very safe, there are no dangerous currents and creatures.
The bonus factor is that Jamaican beaches are very cozy! And here is the list of my TOP 3 beaches in Jamaica:
- 876 Beach Club, Duncans, Jamaica
- Half Moon Beach, Negril, Jamaica
- Frenchman's Cove, Portland, Jamaica

French man's cove is breath taking
Winifred beach in Portland is truly beautiful.
🇯🇲 JAMAICA IS A BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY
I'm still in awe of Frenchman's cove. That place is heaven-sent!
Jamaicans are blessed to have a foreigner talk about the island the way you do. You should be given your own plot of land. One love 💕
ahaha, a plot of land would be nice! I could then share it with my friends to farm some yam or pineapples!!! 😋 Thank you! 🤗
@@JAMAICAWITHIRIE mango 🥭 da best grow that and I’ll come stay and help with da land.
For real, it wouldn't surprise me if the government honour for her work, she deserves it
Jamaica nor any caribbean country is blessed with whites, ypr attotude is how white people are taking over yor beaches
Harmony Beach Mobay beautiful free world class with lots of parking
Jamaica is truly beautiful. We love the beach on Bloody Bay. Many times I thought I died and gone to heaven just walking that beach, floating in the water, and going for jerk chicken and a Red Stripe.
Exactly the feeling! Thank you for sharing! ❤️
Where is bloody bay beach, please share, so we can feel like we are in heaven too, lol.
@@shelly-annrennie5378 We stayed at the Riu Tropical Bay which is right on a fabulous beach on Bloody Bay. There are a couple of other resorts on this beach but the Riu TB is the best. If you Google the resort you will see exactly where it is. We are planning to book there again as soon as this covid thing is under control.
@@shelly-annrennie5378 its in Negril apart of the 7 mile beach
French man's cove , my #1 also
One common thing you will find on most Jamaican beaches is fruit. Sea grapes and almond is quite common along the beaches.
Those almond trees also make the best shade.
You or more real then lot of. Owe .. Jamaican . Blog. And you did eve born there. Love you. Keeping going god bless you. .Jamaica need your or a real Jamaica love love. Those other blogs is hurting Jamaica so much thay. Don't even now. Love you. Jamaica
Thank you so much! It's so kind of you! And yes, thank you for the support! I hope more people come to this channel soon!
Wow, those beaches are beautiful! I am especially amazed by that last beach, Frenchman’s Cove. What a paradise! ❤️
Thank you! It really is! :)
Frenchmans Cove is not by far favorite. The water is too cold , because of the mixture of the mixture of the cold river water. It can also be dangerous. You will walk out say 4feet ,then it will suddenly like you are falling off a cliff and you are say10 feet below.
@@dannylee1446 These are good points, thank you! Though I must say, mixed water is exactly what makes it so special and for good swimmers - it's good it goes deeper, while the place by the river is shallow for kids. The water in the river is called, but that's the point... when it's hot outside - refreshing!
@@dannylee1446 that's funny lol
I love the 7 miles of Negril, but I am als passionate about Bluefields beach. It a beach that I travailed by going to and from school everyday up to the age of 12 when I left for England.I visit often and I am pleased that not a lot of tourist visit .I am hoping to spend more time at home soon and can't wait to go for my daily dips. Thanks for being positive about Jamaica, and iam happy to welcome you to our country as a resident.Keep happy and safe.
You are doing such a great job for Jamaica keep it up we need more positive like yours.
You forgot Bluefield Beach. It's beautiful and away from the tourist area's. One of my favorites
My favourite too! Always have it to ourselves
#sabitto
Oh I love this place and the little falls near by down the road
Bluefields beach is still the best. With so much modifications . And Gilbert changes it original shape - because of land slide
Lol need to explore ma own country.. I've never been to most of these places
Nice one
your love for jamaica is unreal... i have never seen anyone love a country like you.. and you are the reason why i will be moving there.. thanks.. stay safe more life
Everytime I watch I feel like booking a flight! Thanks Irina!
Love seven mile beach
Another well made and informative video from you, my Sunday is complete. Thanks Irina.🙂
Aww, thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!

French man's Cove is absolutely breathtaking. I can't wait to return in December.
Love your channel .
Yes, I love it so much too! Thank you!
Another gem of video. Keep them coming
Thank you for your passion for JA, it shows in your eyes, and speech but also in your ability to describe the island is amazing! GREAT JOB!!!
While you're in Portland please visit winifred Beach and Boston Beach you will also enjoy the best jerk chicken and pork on the island... really enjoy watching your videos keep them coming
Yes, I just haven't filmed them yet! 😊😊😊
Long Bay is a must!
I was watching thinking how have you missed frenchmans cove....but you didn't lol. Im English and live back in England but grew up as a child in portland. I used to finish school and go to the beach, swim down the river to the beach with my brother while my mum walked round. She's been living back there for 5 years now, I'm defo heading back in that direction. Great video
WONDERFUL, CALMING, BEAUTIFUL ,AMAZING ... good job..
Irie, I discovered one of your video lest than 24hours ago and I enjoyed it so much I had to watch the others. They are very good. One of the many things I observed about you, you are enjoying life to the fullest. That is what life is all about. Keep it up.
Hello Irie, just to mention, there are beaches on the South East of Jamaica, Saint Thomas that have gravel instead of sand. Some of these beaches area are usually waves. These area are places that you will find surfing. Check it out. Love your videos.
Yes, you're absolutely right! I was only talking about sandy beaches in this video, but the St.Thomas ones, as well as some eastern part in Portland and more in South Coast - will go into "Secret Beaches" video :)
Was going to mention that side of JAMAICA and that's where you'll find some strong under current too.
Thanks for sharing. I think Frenchman’s is beautiful and scenic. As a kid I used to go to Puerto Seco.
Just found your channel, and I am in love. Your videos are well put together like a professional. Thank you. Blessings!
Awesome video I guess I’ll moving to Jamaica 🇯🇲 yeah man!!!!
Giiiiirl you got me seriously thinking about making this move!!! 😍😍😍🥰🥰🥰
truly amazing places !
Thank you!
I enjoy it
Hi Irie how you and the family doing .. great video looking it 100% keep them coming 💜🙏👍😄⭐⭐⭐👌
Frenchman cove is a paradise
Thank you endorsing my country. I live in the US now, and I can't believe you have explored more of the island than many of us. Keep it up.
I truly enjoy all of your videos, they are very informational. I think the most beautiful beach in Jamaica is in Fairy Hill in east Portland. Its call Winifred beach, I am bias because I grew up there, miss it so much , I will be back soon as this pandemic is over.
You're right, Winnifred is awesome! There will be a separate video about it!
@@JAMAICAWITHIRIE Okay thanks , I am looking forward to seeing it. And if you ask the lady that sells food at the beach if she knows about me and my family, she will say yes. Mr. Berry and his grandsons, Careth and Joe. Please continue to make great videos. Peace and Love
Walk Good.
I love that beach as well it also have a river run into it
Winifred is nice! You definitely need to experience a few more in order to be a better judge. Please come to Trelawny. My favorite is Burwood Beach just as the sun is rising and there no one else there as yet.
My number one is Winnifred. My local beach! I miss it out there!🇯🇲
Such a great point about the safety of the beaches in JA. I was in Bahamas at one of the public beaches despite the beauty of the beach, I was terrified to venture out too far because the water too rough and deep for me. I never get that feeling about any of the beaches I've been to in JA.
Ms Irena, you left out contour. Our beaches are really beaches, the slopes into the water are simply divine. You may walk a fair way out to sea without falling off into the ocean.
I love watching the fishes moseying by in the stream going out to sea and back again. You have great taste
I’ve been there Frenchman cove. It’s beautiful!
All the beaches in Ocho Rios are super beaitiful..Peurto Seco..Ochi Bay Beach..Pearly Beach..Mahagony Beach..little Dunns River...Dunns River Beach and many more.
I'm lowkey disappointed that I've never been to most of these places and I live in JA.. I will tho, I will
Brilliant and the list goes on and on.
I want to come to Jamaica, the weather is perfect like you Irina 😘
New subscriber love the way you speaking positively about my Home Land Jamaica.
Thank you so much! I hope other videos won't disappoint either.
I first visited Frenchman’s Cove Beach, Portland, Port Antonio, Jamaica, in the latter part of the 1970s while serving in Peace Corps Jamaica Group 25. One of our training and development opportunities was held there. Its beauty for me was the hot/cold flash between the ice cold river water and the much warmer sea surf rolling in from the Caribbean. After swimming out through the lagoon, into the sea and back, the unique water exercise lasted at least 45 minutes. The hot/cold water flashing had relaxed every muscle in my body till I was just limp yet exhilarated. Words of praise must be given to glorify Jehovah for granting such a singular experience. Only God Really Knows…ITNOJ. Amen. MOJ
Go take a look at James Bond beach in Ocho Rios.
Love the positive vibes of your videos. Treasure beach can be dangerous for swimmers.
yes I was going to say that too. I actually met two people there who’s relatives have drowned
Wow beautiful!
I would loveee to visit doctor's cave beach!!!!!!
Frenchman's cove is my favourite too..the river meets the beach and Portland is my favourite parish although I'm originally from St. Mary jamaica.. beautiful video ..always staying at the hotel was very relaxing too ..my soul comes alive when I'm in Portland
Okay okay, you've convinced me, I'll subscribe 😌.
You're always smiling. You're smile is a blessing. It blesses people.
God loves you so much, and He wants you to know this. Not sure if you're a believer or not 🙂
Question, when your feet was in the sand, were you trying to draw a heart 💛? It looked like it. Its around the 8:27 minute I believe.
Anyways take care and walk good and talk good.
Absolutely Beautiful 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💕💕💕💕💕
Thank you!! ❤️
Irina, wow and thank you
All of them is beautiful ❤❤❤
Thank you for this video I love it
Your content is awsome!
Thank you for the beautiful narratives about my country. They make me want to pack up and come home.
I agree with your choices. Frenchman’s Cove is my favourite too.
I’m from Saint James “ Montego Bay” so Doctors Cave beach is my all time favorite.. But I must say on my next trip home its must that I visit Frenchman’s Cove Beach...
I agree with most of what you've shared Irina, however, I would caution folks about swimming in Treasure Beach when tides are strong, seas rough or off the cliffs in West End Negril, I would also caution about swimming off North Shore such as in Ochi - I rented a private airbnb in Ochi which had direct ocean access. I've never experienced an under-tow but I did there - Old Man Sea yanked on my legs and tbh I've never forgotten it. Have read of swimmers drowning off Treasure Beach as well due to under-tows. Also sharks have attacked early morning fishermen off the north coast as well. So yes, the beaches are safe for the most part but there are elements we must also respect such as currents and marine life.
I Love your three top choice as well. I love those secluded areas as well. It feels like your own personal space. Thanks for sharing these beautiful beaches...enjoyed watching.
(watching adds) I love the teaser! I love beaches!!! I have been somewehere in jamaica at such a beautyfull waterfall. I love your vision on beaches and`degrees of them. mesmorising endshots. beautyfull!
Thank you! Glad you liked the video! 🌊🏝
@@JAMAICAWITHIRIE Better yet it is shared it with the family and it's confirmed we have been at this"waterfall" czcams.com/video/ipjqNPaNlV4/video.html into the beach years ago. (fortunately it wasn't that crowded then) i am watching it again today..I want to come.can't wait.
Wow amazing what a paradise.
You do such a magnificent job showing jamaica

Jamaica is just so beautiful 😍 Great video.
Frenchman's cove all day everyday 😍
❤❤❤ B bless 💯 Ashay Yahweh Abba farther Ashay 👏 🙏 Ashay ❤❤
Another fabulous video Irina! Thank you very much!!!
Amazing! Some of this information is going in my speech about Jamaica, thanks
I love Frenchman's Cove because of the river but the beach is usually a bit rough. my fav beach is Pearly Beach in Mamee Bay or Winifred's in Portland
I really liked your video. And I have been to all the beaches you have mentioned. I totally agree with your number one choice Onelove ❤️💛💚🏖
My parents were both born in Jamaica. I live in the UK but my sibliings and I have decided to move to Jamaica. I cannot wait tbh. Thank you for your video x
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it! More videos coming up soon!
Make sure you know what you're doing..
Roy excellent Alexander Trust me we do. Not spending my old age in a country that does not want us here.
I do understand man.. but if you're in a haste to go to your maker go.. they'll kill you in a blink of an eye.. mentally.. you got money.....
@@royexcellentalexander8308 My Aunties have been out there for 40 years as returnees. Nobody no touch none of dem. I don't know where in JA you come from but my people nuh stay so. If you a look fe trouble, trouble will find you. Stick to people you know. I have been to and from JA since I was a child and nobody in my District ever trouble me. I am in my mid 50's now and we nuh stupid. if you go around a flash money then that is a cause for concern! Btw I am not a MAN. I'm guessing you are from America and if that be the case, Jamaica is by far safer than the USA right now. That is one of the mos racist countries in the world and I for one would never go there!
i definitely love and appreciate this vid..of course i dont know half these beaches
Jamaica is so beautiful the beaches and rivers are gorgeous i cannot swim but love the beach just to let the water touch my feet wow will like to go right this moment lol
Yes Jamaica.....
Negril 7 miles, for me,I must say Frenchman,s cove is awesome, but 7 miles have a vibes
When I didn't hear you mention French man's cove I said you mist out a lot but I glad you did
You’ll make an excellent tour guide. I hope when I get there I’ll find someone as knowledgeable and honest as you
Thank you! This person would be Derrick - he's is the tour guide I learnt a lot from :) and he's also my friend and the main man on our team for irielab company:

Great choice for the #1 Beach i agree also..
876 in Falmouth is a must !! I was there with my family for my birthday last year. I still can’t get it out of my head
Absolutely love your videos
Awesome video. Thank you making this one.
Love you video great information 👌🏿
you are right with the most beautifu; beach it's Frenchmann's Cove, oh oui, yes,
Peace and love
Love this video
You forgot Bull Bay, where there is Cable But, Copacabana, Little Copa.
Actually I beg to differ that french man cove is the best and most beautiful beach in Jamaica but everyone is entitled to their opinions.
I must say that I enjoy everyone of your videos about Jamaica, they are spot on correct and neutral. It's is nice as a Jamaican to hear a different perspective from a living in Jamaica.❤️
I SUBSCRIBED because you choose Frenchman Cove Beach....
There use to be coconut trees extending out into the sea until Gilbert took it a away , i use to climb them when I was a boy in sandy bay
Gilbert? Wow that was over 30 years ago, alot of young people don't know nothing about that storm. I was a young child when it hit us.
I can go back further than Gilbert , this was back in the days when your toilet was a little hut in the sea , when the storms came the sea would come out to the main road
Thank for this
This is now my favorite beach...
I like Frenchman Cove it looks amazing
I love neril 7 mile Beach, but there are other ones I love too and others I've never been to... Shame! I have been to French man's ccove, I think it was 2016. It was truly beautiful especially driving through what I call a mimi rain forest to get to the beach. Of all places, we bumped into two friends along the road, who had abandoned the cold here in the UK, for a new life in Jamaica.
Patrica Barnes, I used to bathe, @ what NEGRIL 7 MILE BECAME, walking through the bushes , how life changed , We stopped at RICKE for a drink , on the way to MO BAY, for the few days, then OCHI, I think it was1976 EASTER, . There was a hotel called the INTERCONTINAL, but sure the name/ownership changed. Cheeers 🇬🇧🇯🇲🇺🇸🇺🇸
Awwwwesome...great job
awesome :) thnx 4 this! agree with your choices :))
