My favourite Italian Starter is bruschetta
The Bersaglieri starter army was the bases of my now quite large Italian army that I love. I really hope V3 gives the Italians some love and decent rules like Case Blue did.
I'm just getting into Bolt Action, and I'm thoroughly enjoying it!
i bought the Bersaglieri starter army.
If your able to get an extra sprue you'll be able to make 4 10 man infantry squads out of them.
I found the That AA gun was easier to put together than i thought.
Hopefully Bersaglieri get to keep their fire and maneuver rule they got from case blue.
I recently got the Bersaglieri starter army as my first Bolt Action starter. The Breda 20mm cannon even has tiny sight and crank parts...which are IMO too small to be practical, so I left them off. You do need to use a bunch of superglue to get the gunner's support poles to fit onto the base drum and stick there. I use Starbond EM-2000 Extra Thick superglue and it struggled here. I had to hold the gun base with the seat facing upward to let gravity help the gunners seat stay on and let the glue bond. The machine gun on the tripod is annoying to get the nubbin on the tripod and the void in the gun to mate together. The tripod's two base pieces fitting together into one base was impressive for a metal model, but the gun-tripod mount could have been easier. The tank's turret is in a few more pieces than is ideal, but plastic glue and a little patience will do you better than I did.
The infantry are great and easy to built. You don't get an AT rifle or light mortar like the British 8th army or Afrika Korp sprues, but you do get a binoculars arm and a pair of arms writing on a piece of paper on every sprue, so your artillery spotters, forward observers, and anal-retentive supply sergeants have the equipment they need to wreak have on enemies and allies alike.
The medic from this HQ set is one of my favorite Warlord models. I also quite like the bugler. It seems like a romantic throwback, but without every soldier having a radio in their ear, it's still eminently practical even in WW2.
Im looking to start Bersag army myself and for me Starter Box would be perfect if It had bit more minis like truck/apc/tankiet and/or 5man on bikes. I would buy 2 boxer outright.
I would love to see a reverse match where Mordian takes the Italians and Simon takes a German or Soviet list

Italian army rules sucks a bit though
The answer is any other countries army.
