I don't think it's a disgrace they've got the points deduction for whats happened. As if you break the rules, you must be punished. I don’t think it’s unfair for the clubs to get punished, but you’d think these investigations would have been completed before the season starts. No way he just said that Leicester fans would enjoy a season in the championship more than a season in the premier league 😅. When it happened to Newcastle he definitely wasn't saying the same 💀
I feel like the bet should be altered to accommodate how unfair this is because its not like anyone would have expected a 10 points deduction. Even if you were following the case closely, which tbh I wasn't, surely you wouldn't expect 10 points.
Reminder that The Athletic filed a Freedom of Information Act request for communications between the UK embassy in the UAE and the UAE government regarding the charges against city, which include fraud, and the request’s response was delayed (which is uncommon) and then totally denied as it “might hurt UK, UAE relations”. Hate to say it cuz I love football and the PL but it’s blatant corruption. And I don’t have any beef with city or chelsea, I just want equal application of rules and enforcement. And no I’m not an Everton fan, just sucks to see corruption at every level in football
You say that their wins doesn't matter anymore but if they didn't win them 4 games they would have been on minus points which would have meant relegated by Christmas.
I'm not even a Liverpool fan or a fan of either Manchester clubs, but even I wanna see Everton go down this season, whether they go down because of deducted points or piss poor performances on the pitch. Just get relegated already.
Its yet another example of teams being kicked while they are down, rather than the regulations actually preventing poor financial management in the first place. Similarly, city should not need to be punished, they shouldnt have been able to spend that much in the first place
@@vangroover1903 if the restrictions prevented them overspending in the first place, they could've been relegated anyway. Irish Guy can't escape the milk even during an international break.
City and Greenwood gets ignored by the laws
Potentially Antony as well. His case lasted a day essentially he wasn't proven innocent nor guilty the case was just dropped
They could also be docked another 9 points but those reasons I don't know why
I love the premier league, to me it is the best in the world. But lately it feels like it’s been getting over shadowed by the bad var calls and now these ffp breaches. I don’t think it’s unfair for the clubs to get punished, but you’d think these investigations would have been completed before the season starts. I think that if somehow Everton is able to get this punishment reverted then it’ll be even more ridiculous. Because it would just show how incomplete the initial investigation was.
What i dont understand is y do football clubs have the English flag on their badge even if they arent english and its not like Barcelona and AC Milan r respecting their past as spain and italy were never colonised by england
I can already smell the milk. Every week till may
Considering the points deducted to money spent over the limit, City should have a 300 point deduction.
GET THE MILK OUT FOR THE LADS
Hilarious considering you made such bet 😂😂
It should go without saying, evertons crime compared to Man Cities are small, and Everton complied with the investigation, so anything coming Cities way will be a long way off as the investigation is much much harder. Got to spend the time building a ironclad case so justice can be made
First Also Everton Have Ruined The Irish Guy's Life
What's curious is that Everton had a serious charge = guilty = 10 points deduction, but City out if 115 charges = no serious charge, not one = no penalty. How dafuk.....
Bob Dylan reference?? Must’ve been hanging out with hitc sevens
This could ONLY happen to Irish guy 😂
If its a 10 point deduction per rule broke city will be relegated on -1400 points
And I'm pretty sure the judge of Calciopoli was an inter fan
Hypothetical question....if this stands, then what should the punishment be for City? Any less than the board being publicly flogged and the crowds shouting "shame shame"? This is such a ridiculous judgement
Back to The Milk
As soon as I heard that news my first thought was about milk baths, hopefully for you it'll only be a week or two and then you'll be safe again 😂
Yes, more milk for irish guy
Don't worry everton Will bounce back you see keep the faith everton fans 💙
Lots of us are hoping this is the nail in their coffin. If Everton play the way they were playing earlier on they could easily make the EFL. #Dare2Dream
Team who admitted to breaking the rules get charged before the team who pleads not guilty with more charges😱
No way he just said that Leicester fans would enjoy a season in the championship more than a season in the premier league 😅. When it happened to Newcastle he definitely wasn't saying the same 💀
All in favour of Irish guys contract of punishment being null and void due to evertons actions:
I feel like the bet should be altered to accommodate how unfair this is because its not like anyone would have expected a 10 points deduction. Even if you were following the case closely, which tbh I wasn't, surely you wouldn't expect 10 points.
Buy more milk!!!!!!!! Yas!!! Let's goooooooooo.
Sucks for Everton :(
Waiting to see if city get theirs
Reminder that The Athletic filed a Freedom of Information Act request for communications between the UK embassy in the UAE and the UAE government regarding the charges against city, which include fraud, and the request’s response was delayed (which is uncommon) and then totally denied as it “might hurt UK, UAE relations”. Hate to say it cuz I love football and the PL but it’s blatant corruption. And I don’t have any beef with city or chelsea, I just want equal application of rules and enforcement. And no I’m not an Everton fan, just sucks to see corruption at every level in football
Dump the milk on your head now EDIT: fair play you’re gonna do it next week lmaooo
You say that their wins doesn't matter anymore but if they didn't win them 4 games they would have been on minus points which would have meant relegated by Christmas.
As a Liverpool fan I’m happy about it but I wish City also got a point deduction
Bury Town welcomes City when we play against each other when you finally get your punishment
Somebody needs to key up their new theme song: Down Where They Belong
exhausting hearing all these football reporters not actually doing the required homework to speak on these matters
And after years of speaking about his dad not bringing back milk Irish guy pleads “ no more milk “
Irish guy: Return of the milk 😂
I think something big will come for city and Chelsea.
Still, why would you stop kicking somebody just because they are down? This could get Everton Down Where They Belong. #Dare2Dream
@@vangroover1903 if the restrictions prevented them overspending in the first place, they could've been relegated anyway. The problem is that now they could be relegated whilst also being in financial trouble, and probably will get restricted from trading players to get themselves into a better position. If this happened to your club you'd be much more sympathetic.
As an Everton fan, I have no issue being punished with an obvious breach, but the harshest point deduction in history? That's going way too far. Doesn't a transfer ban or fine fit the crime a bit more, especially when we have been working closely with the PL?
Remember when the top 6 teams tried to run away from the PL? They got a slap on the wrist and a fine. 0 consistency.
If everton got a 10 point deduction for 1 breach
Then surely city with 115 breaches deserve to be relagated
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA BRING ON THE MILK
