@@Czechineffect What America calls chips Kenyans call Crisps. Because they are crispy. But french fries are chips cause they are not crispy. :) So we have potato "chips" too but we refer them as Crisps not chips. Chips like they said in your video are french fries. Nice conversation.
Czech, now that you have built such a large following come back to the US and show the world the hoods and destitute situations in the US. Reason is that many Africans and others around the world also have a misconception about the US as well. They too need a reality check. Much appreciation for what you do.

To Czech, l am so impressed of the videos you are showing to the viewers. I visited Kenya abd this are of the slum area Kabosa. We were also impressed with the liveness of the people there. We visited the schools there as well as the locals. We were able to give schools supplies to the teachers and students there. They welcomed us with warm wishes through song and music. What l learned and appreciate about the people there is that they have a resilient spirit and they do not look down on themselves cause of the condition they live in. The people there are beautiful and intelligent and warm nice people there. I am proud of you that you are showing the hidden treasures of Kenya. May God bless you on your success of Documentaries of yhe places you visited.

This is a passionate plea to all Africans living in Africa and ESPECIALLY to my beloved Kenyans. Please please please, do not move to the US. The United States is on the verge of collapse. Do not allow ignorant black Americans to come to OUR MOTHERLAND to film poverty vids instead of showing you the sad/sorry/reality of what's happening in America. Please do not believe any of your relatives living in America telling you they have a good life.
Americans are very pretentious and full of it. Same thing applies to Africans who move to the US. I live in the US and can tell you for a fact that this nation is on the verge of collapse. OUR KIBERA is not a slum or a dump compared to what is happening in America. At least Kibera residents have a roof over their heads and most have a job or small business. Instead of showing positive places where some people can move to in Africa/Kenya someone is busy filming slums and ghettos. How stupid and ignorant is this?

Every country has a slum or rather homeless lets not forget that
Yes we know America has some bad slums also.but we also know why these slums exist globally for black people.shout out to my black Africans,Jamaicans,blacks in Europe,Brazil, hati,and all the other islands.We all are one bless.
Actually, many African countries have worse slums than Kibera, and nobody talks about them!! So there is some fascination with Kibera. 35 African countries have no census figures. So even the largest slum in Africa tags holds no water. Second, the official stats of Kibera are known, but western NGOs would rather fabricate estimates to keep raising funds and living in Kenya. They need to be called out.

24:14 Kenya Kiswahili is proper Kiswahili. What he is describing is a street lingo called Sheng. Sheng is not Kenyan Kiswahili. It is just its own language. It is like saying Pidgin is Nigerian English. Nigerians have both pidgin and proper English. Same as Kenya with Sheng and proper Kiswahili.

Most plot/land owners of Kibera are Nubians(Tribe from South Sudan) whose fore fathers were rewarded the land as a gift by the colonial government after fighting in their army (world war).
They all still live in parts of Kibera ... despite having a little bit more money from the rents.
The biggest reason for failure to develope the land was lack of physical planning of the area(including amenities like sewage, roads, water, drainage, etc). And land grabbing - it's very expensive land with such proximity to the CBD. This is slowly changing together with the introduction of slum upgrading (the storey houses you were walking in between) ....
