- Pitioss Ruins is a hidden dungeon that you can only access via a flying car (Regalia Type-F). There is a small airstrip located next to "Verinas Mart" Outpost in Ravatogh. After landing there with Regalia Type-F, walk a bit northward (follow the video) until you reach a building with a round door that only opens at 8PM. Inside the dungeon is a big platform puzzle with many treasures. The final prize once you complete the Pitioss dungeon is the Black Hood accessory that enables you to auto-evade. Video has step by step instructions on location of dungeon, how to get there, and the usefulness of the Black Hood accessory. Looks to me that the most difficult part of this is landing the car. I promptly got a game over as soon as I got the Type F :D

Taaniul me too and I forgot to save so I had to do a ton of stuff over again
LMAO i only crashed it twice so far i think one time i was trying to land on the highway near a mountain but because the game took so long to load any of the map assets the lamp pole/street light loaded in late and ended up catching the wing on the pole and destroying the car
If you think landing the car is difficult you obviously never made it into the dungeon.
Yo forgot to mention to get rid of the supercharger and turbo from regalia because it makes it more difficult to land because each time you land with those upgrades you immediately crashed because your going too fast (anyone like this is helpful)

I have all the upgrades for regalia supercharger and turbo doesn't really affect my landing, got it first try, just make sure to go downward while holding brake and left click (land)
Yeah...no. You can land with all upgrades. It just takes a little planning.. and for some, no planning at all.

lol just imagine, after all those hours of hardwork of trying to get through the maze, then you reach the exit, you accidentally fall off outside without actually getting the prize xD

Well, even if you fall off, it will be easier to get the item since most will be unlocked already.

With everything equipped on the Regalia I still landed first try. I'm pretty proud of myself😁

So this is the fourth of rifth FFXV film I've seen on this channel - and this is the one that made me subscribe. I had npticed the yellow marking of the short strech of road a long time ago, and actually thought it must be a glitch. Getting an answer here is really cool. Guess what I'll be doing next in FFXV...?

Yo I recently found this dungeon and should have known better but my curiosity was peaked and I accidentally sent the elevator back up to the top while I was still in there. Now I don't know how long it normally takes to clear this dungeon but it took me every bit of 4 hours....I definitely kept falling and falling asleep. Hard work when your gaming into the early morning but a good hard dungeon for sure.
Will any loz skills be able to apply to this dungeon?

I suggest that if you are playing chapter 13 you choose gladiolus and ignis and not Noctis unless you can handle Jump scares on noctis

It is the most well designed dungeon ever in the game, suggesting they put a lot of effort on this dungeon (only its a platformer) .. It tells the story of the astral war(in theory) , each puzzle is a story , dev say the original design of the dungeon is "floating ramuh's head" maybe means its ramuh's memory of the event.. and maybe it is well hidden secret dungeon because it houses the statue of an unknown woman believed to be an astral locked and forgotten..
That's it! I've come up with a new recipe!

Can somebody help me trying to go to the pitioss dungeon by type f but upon landing it says game over.. And it's perfect landing too is it patched or something it's there other to go to the dungeon or that's the only way? Thanks in advance guys
Getting to a safe height before landing is the first part. The second part is you HAVE TO land on the strip. If u land anywhere outside the strip ur car will explode no matter what.
I wonder if you can jump there with Type D instead

theres a video here that makes it less tedious but still takes a while its by dreaded hemlock and its called 500k gilf farm and 1.6 mil exp method. it involves you taking a hunting quest in verinas mart and completing it over and over for like 2 hours with the exp food buff from atlissia's restaurant. it works for me, i went form lvl 50 to 72 in 2 hours, including moogle charm though on noctis.

if it was a ascension skill then after unlocking it you wouldnt be able to get rid of it and it would constantly drain your mp, as an accessory its better bc you can take it off any time

its not marked with a question mark, there is a window where you overhear a conversation between two men about a treasure or something, the treasure is located outside this dungeon

This dungeon could have a million XP, a million Gil, and every royal arm and it wouldn't be worth completing. The most infuriating level in all of gaming history.
The most hated part of the game I almost get the hood 24hours gameplay in pitios dungeon -.-
The reward from this is definitely not worth the work.

@@DuckSute It's just an accessory that dodges for you, it's just not that useful.
An old reply, but I recently found it to be true. You can literally hold down doge/block easily with a finger by using the type C control configuration. It can be done in any fight, and works just like wearing the black hood. The Ribbon or a Magitek armor or type V2 if someone feels like grinding for it is far more useful and easier to get. Only reason I did the dungeon is to say I did, and there's not even a trophy for it. Too frustrating to be worth the effort.
