I am 22 years young
-What type of program were you in & how long was it?
I graduated from an ADN (Associate in Nursing) program at my State College & the program was a total of 2 years. However, it did take 2 years to complete undergrad work to get into the program so in total 4 years. I am currently taking my BSN (Bachelor) classes at the same State College. I plan to continue on my nursing journey until I reach my Doctorate degree!
-What semester are you in?
I am a new graduate Emergerncy Room Nurse 🍾🎊 So I am no longer in nursing school, however; I am currently completing my Bachelors degree!

I almost resent anyone who tells me that it's best for med surg. Maybe that was the case for you, but I know me! 😂 100% agree on externships! I've been in the ICU for almost the entire time I've been in nursing school. I absolutely love critical care.

I definitely needed this video! I got my license shortly before covid. As a new grad, the hospitals were so desperate for help, they didn't ask many questions other than the basic "tell me about yourself" and "can you work weekends" 😂
I always use the fact that I am super critical of myself as a weakness. I am always looking for feedback and ways to improve and sometimes re-analyze choices after the fact so that I continuously learn.

Your video really helped me have a better understanding of how to respond to interview questions. I did really poor in previous interviews. I had my first new grad interview on Monday at 9 and by 4 pm that day, I got a congratulations email.

I always felt it was good to bring up your pets or hobbies outside work because it shows them how you decompress. It also really seals the deal if the hiring manager has the same interests as you. The job is yours at that point

Hi dear! What advice could u give to an internationally trained nurse who is out of bedside for 5 yrs? Is it okay to start applying a job in an LTC/rehab or try to apply in an hospital? Is it easy to get hired nowadays?
