Sorry for the big paragraph on high speed car physics, I get carried away sometimes, and I really do welcome discussion in the replies below if anyone has a correction or addition to make. This is all using my rather elementary knowledge of aerodynamics and friction.
The Alfa 33 can go that fast because it becomes effectively lighter at higher speeds. It has negative downforce because the air pushes it upwards like a wing, as it has none of the aero surfaces needed to push it back downwards like the Veyrons, Venom, or Koenigseggs. The game does seem to simulate that, but also to me at least, seems to do it better in FM7 than before. That's why the Alfa does wheelies at top speed over bumps. It's like a plane's wing catching air underneath, a more severe version of the effect is seen in some tragic or near-tragic Le Mans crashes where the car, pulled to the ground by _ground effect_ and _Bernouli's Principle_ because of complex aero systems like _Venturi Tunnels_ and properly engineered diffusers underneath the vehicle, loses that effect and the car pitches upwards flying many meters into the air and doing backflips because of the wing on the back of the vehicle. The Jaguar D-Type suffers the same problem as the Alfa 33, but less so. And that "speed wall" is somewhat realistic as more downforce or more power is needed to push past those speeds. There is a good reason no race car or hypercar testbed vehicle has reached past 300 mph. Watch a video called _Why Has No Production Car Hit 300MPH?_ by _Engineering Explained._ He details in that video what is needed to push past 300 mph and details the cooling problem, something Forza has neglected, and one of the top commenters also mentions the power increase required to combat the increased resistance of the air at those speeds, and it seems exponential in nature.
TL;DR if you're not in to physics, I get the feeling a RWD 1500 hp Lamborghini with stock tyres might be the fastest in this game, that or the 2000 hp Plymouth with the spoiler on the back, and if it has one, a splitter on the front with stock tyres and staying RWD. You need grip to get going *quickly* and downforce with huge power to go *fast*. On Sarthe you don't need much grip because you can get up to ok gripping speed before the high speed stretch.

Aero actually slows the car down, so take the spoilers off the cars and test them again. Also the One:1 has aero from the factory so the Agera will have a higher top speed.

Forza released a statement saying that Double CR is coming back, also current VIPs get 4 Forza Edition cars & 1 million credits, in addition to the VIP crates. Check the messages tab on the main menu.

According to Google, the Hennessey Venom GT is the current fastest road legal car in the world at 270mph. It would be the Bugatti Chiron but currently, no tires exist that can perform to the Chiron's maximum potential... However, if you arent bothered if its legal or not, the Bloodhound SSC is probably your best bet :P

You should have tried the Mclaren F1 GTR because it can reach 240MPH stock ! Or if it isn't in the game try the Mclaren F1. It still is an incredibly fast car !

The Veyron is still officially the fastest production car in the world. Bugatti has legal documents and certificates to prove it.

Untuned but fully upgraded would have been a better way to do this video, tune quality can vary

The One:1 probably wouldn't be the best for top speed as it has a more down force than most other Koenigseggs, so maybe the Regera might actually do better? I don't know, I don't have the game.

You should have used your own tunes to keep it consistent. If you use different people's tunes they might suck and some might be good.

Try the Porsche 911 GT1 Strassenversion I can make it go over 470km , but the gear ratio has to be exact if not I wont go over 430km Or the front end will go up and flip the car like the Alfa . Hands down the 911 is the fastest car in the game .
