    Wife and I just flew round trip from Orlando to Atlanta, first time on Frontier. As stated in the video, they will charge for EVERYTHING, so if your ticket is $125 .... it will become $425 quick, fast and in a hurry if you don't preplan. We read ALL of their ticketing information and reviewed some CZcams vids a month in advance. Here's our tip and trick that we used. We were going for a week, don't need to bring an outfit for every day of the week (at least we don't). Pair of jeans to fly in and 2 extra pair, same with shirts, underwear and anything else you may personally need. Add in a toiletries bag with personal items, i.e. toothpaste, razor, deodorant, etc., etc. Boxed it all up and shipped it UPS ground 2 days before our departure, cost about $22, had it delivered to our daughters' house, which arrived the day before we did. Air BnB we rented had washer/dryer so we did laundry on the 3rd day, fresh clothes for the rest of the trip. No carry on luggage, no checked luggage = NO BAGGAGE CLAIM and no additional fees. Worked like a champ for us. Printed the return label for our box before we left, repacked the clothes and other items, put new label on the box, dropped it off a UPS store less than a mile away, went back to the airport the next day. In a nutshell, we went to the airport, went through security, found the gate, waited ...... boarded the plane, arrived at destination, deplaned, went to car rental, drove off while quite a few other passengers were waiting at baggage claim. Return trip the same game. Worked like a champ.

      So in other words u ship your clothes, etc to a family member house 🏠 that way you didn't have to bring anything on frontier airplanes which means u pay nothing extra?
      So then my question is can I ship my luggage 🧳 lay say from atlanta georgia to los Angeles airport?

    • @whatsapoop
      @whatsapoop Před měsícem

      @@cs77smith67 Not to any airport. But you can find a UPS store nearby, call them and ask if they will receive a shipment for you. They will charge you a fee but it will be a helluva lot less than what the airline charges for your suitcase.

    I have flown this route many times and had a few flights delayed but not too bad. I do play the game where I don't buy any add on's. I let them choose my seat which 9/10 times is an aisle, I also have a small roller bag that meets the size limit for a free item. I don't think I have ever paid over $50 one way on this route on this airline. Their crew has always been nice and the planes clean. Their gates at Midway are just a few steps past security and once the plane is pushed back the taxi and takeoff are quite fast since Midway is such a small one mile square airport. They do the job for me and have saved me much money!

    Thank you very much for this wonderful video for the sake of serving the community, in all honesty. The seats are very small and there is not enough distance between the hands on the right and on the left. Here is the problem with American and Canadian aviation. The seats are very small. Many suffer from this phenomenon. The future of all aviation in the world is maintenance. In order to preserve the safety of people, unfortunately, companies did not care about this issue, only concerned with collecting money

    I grew up in Colorado when the " original" Frontier was still flying. And the difference betwren the old and the new, is like night and day. I flew the "new" Frontier in 2022 when I went back to Denver to celebrate my birthday with friends. The WORST part of my trip was the flight. Cramped seats, no meals; not even a decent snack, a child kicking my seat; awful. I will give credit where it's due and the flight attendants WERE friendly and helpful. You could see that they were trying to make the best of a bad situation but I won't fly them ever again.🥺😕. The experience was too stressful.

      If you want an economic flight, this is one of 3 to use, the others are Spirit and Allegiant. On full service airlines, the airline food you get is not nearly worth what you paid extra for the meal. You can save that $ and have a more luxurious dining experience at destination. Also, you can bring your own food & beverage on board, if nonalcoholic. There will be no pressure to buy anything on board. Frontier is for people who want to fly for a vacation and have to save their pennies. Also, they have all the safety certifications every other carrier has to have. Plus a fleet that is very young compared to the full service guys. Their punctuality has improved since the autumn, when operational changes were started to address their more frequent lateness.

      Concerning the kid wearing flip-flops ; In the 60's and 70's, you got dressed up to fly. It was a big deal and you wouldn't be caught dead wearing casual clothes and shoes. I miss the glamour, fun and excitement of the golden age of aviation .

    Ultra low cost? What is that?

    • @RashadKhanAviation2023
      @RashadKhanAviation2023 Před 4 měsíci +1

      Ultra low cost means that an airline has some of the lowest pricing on flights, has barely any service, and has very bad seats. (Unlike some airlines out there)
      Frontier and Spirit are one of the worst ULC (Ultra Low Cost) airlines in the United States. I personal wouldn’t recommend flying on them.

      Normally the low cost airlines don’t have First Class or business classes they just have coach and they don’t have longes other then that you,get in two the area of choice of airlines depends on the airlines but Frontier,alegent and Spirit are the well known airlines for bare bones because Southwest and jet blue we’ll have TV’s and free snack
