I just got this set, and it’s pretty great! The chief is… fine, and the grunt is pretty good. But the stand out is that hunter, I might have to buy a second just for the hunter! I also really like the cockpit for the wasp, I like how it breaks apart! I sadly also had a problem with the weird plastic pieces for the shade turret, but I taped mine back together. Great review and keep up the amazing content!
XD These days, Chief being fine is high praise indeed
Don't feel bad about the plastic part. Mine came out in one piece, but because of the angle it curves at, it just pops the bricks up and the whole thing falls apart. It's a very poor choice and design.

This set is awesome, just a bit bummed out of how many studs are showing on the wasp itself. I do believe Mega coulda built the wasp a bit more but nonetheless I do love it
They could have, though it might have driven the price up and then it wouldn't have matched the Pelican as much

Reasons why I love this set:
1. I love the turret it looks so accurate and awesome
2. The Hunter it’s looks so good with the silver and red tho I prefer the pelican one
3. The wasp it’s so cool I love the build the weapons the propellers kits looks so smooth and I love the two machine guns on the front
Overall it’s a must buy set

I Love growing grunt armies with these sets too. There’s millions of grunts in one location or FOB.
While I’m not the biggest fan of the plethora of studs on the wasp, it can be used to animate in stopmotion. I envision a multiplayer match recreation with several people on top of the vehicle; everyone raining absolute hellfire on the enemies below.
Now that would be quite a sight!
The Wasp looks like a solid set for its price, hope Mega Construx fixes its terrible distribution.
It’s virtually impossible to get the 20th anniversary pack for MSRP in the US.

Great review as always! This set looks really cool. For me the thrusters of the wasp being able to spin like they do looks like some really run animation potential! I agree it's a shame that the Hunter's silver is so different to the pelican one. It would be nice if you've spent that much that you could pair the Hunters together and them be more similar. Seen mixed reviews about the turret's flexible parts but seeing yours snap like that definitely shows why!
Oooh yes, I'm interested to see some stop-motion creators work their magic on the wasp!

THank you for making the shade turret part, honestly, if i would have not watched tghe video, I would have ripped the shade turret plastic peice straight of the other part. I took so long taking it off but it was worth it.

That lil' machine gun on a stick was used in some earlier sets on like, mounted guns, as well as the jackrabbit. I've got quite a few!

I really like this set. However, when I was building the Hunter, one of the crystal pieces on the canon snapped in half when I was putting it in
They do tend to be fragile

I got that frame piece out just fine but I used an xacto knife. I build model aircraft and I knew it would be fragile as soon as I saw that frame
That's very clever. And now I'm kicking myself for not thinking to do it that way XD
Wasn't able to find this set yet, but I like that it's a cheap way to get a hunter. I wish it had 2 Hunters though.
The new Scorpion tank comes with this hunter but 2 of them

Distribution is super tough right now--Target and Dollar General have decent stock sometimes. Big Bad Toy Store has decent stock as well
Love this set might be my favorite from the second wave. Hunter in banished colors is awesome love how you can put the pelican one with this one together. Shade turret is sick it’s my first shade turret. Sorry about your shade turret hope it gets fixed.

What do you think is the best infinite set so far. As of now I only have the platoon pack, and the skiff intercept. I personally like the skiff better, but the warthog is on sale so I plan on picking up a few and have some fun combining and motorist for the hog. Once or if that is done I’ll post a video in it, soon I plan on posting a video of a lego Star Wars set I recently motorized
@@durpydilo6570 my favorite infinite set that I own is probably the wasp or the warthog because they include so much features while staying in a good price zone. Platoon pack is maybe in the top 5’s

Love this set, the Wasp is IMO better than the Halo 5 one, the Shade is actually a pretty cool build, and I liked the metal pieces used. The figures are okay, I do like the new Chief. But I love how they fixed the big issue of not being able to put in the Hunter spikes in all the way, by making the hand/gun part rubbery instead of hard plastic.
The H5 one was too big I think. The gun-hand for the Hunter was definitely a little easier to add the spikes but it's still a pain XD
I bought this set on Wednesday, and just built it today. I like the hunter the best, the marine is meh, and the grunt and chief are tied for second place. I also at the same time, bought the master chief helmet, 2 recon getaways, a marine platoon pack, and 7 blind packs. These are the first mega construx sets I have bought in over 4 years. So I am pretty excited about what sets will be released next.

@@DemarcationMedia I am eventually going to try and buy all the other halo infinite sets, and probably a lot more blind bags. It was quite fun getting all of this, as it made me feel like I was back in 2010 or 2011.
My turret looks kinda flat because that bendy piece doesn't rest in a circular state like it should. Not sure if it's just that set or not but i have another one coming Wednesday, ig I'll see.
Hmm so looks like Mega needs to work on that plastic stuff before it's properly usable
My metallic bit didn't break, and only the 2 two stud clear bits are temporary pieces the other is like a stand to make the wasp look like it's skimming the ground

What are your thoughts on the sparrow hawk from aerial ambusg with the wasp?
I never actually got the Aerial Ambush set but just by look, the two vehicles compare decently well
I saw this set at Walmart but I got the helmets instead but it looks really good

You should start adding in the prices for example Usd, Aud and others.
I usually will talk about the price at the end of the video--I don't add prices because getting a solid 'official' retail price for all valid countries is very difficult as distribution and price varies so hard from place to place.

I Like to add ranks to the grunts to give em purpose to their colors;
Red: Minor
Orange: Major
Masked and heavy backpack: Heavy
Blue: Specialist
White: Ultra

I’ve bought two of these sets from different stores and both were missing the hunter they were never packed in the box so this set personally is wack for that but I love this set at the same time just with I got both of my hunters

XD If you're referring to the marine, it's really not. Check the box art or the instructions
The weird thin is that it seems all of your figures have issues, I've had only one figure with a loose arm (random marine) and one with a loose shoulder pad (yellow gungnir from the series 1 blind bags.)
XD I just seem to have poor luck
This was the first megabloks set I acquired in over 20 years, my Marine is pretty busted right out of the box;
It has a loosely fitted left hand into the arm slot, really easy to pull out and doesn't even lock into place like the right hand does
the right hand is warped (visible stress marks on the 4 finger part of the hand) and can't grip onto things properly, like the assault rifle for example
the right foot has a chunk of plastic molding in the corner of the anti-stud under the foot, so I can't place it onto studs properly
The peg that holds the pelvis part onto the base of the torso is also loosely fitted, it detaches relatively easily compared to chiefs pelvis piece which is firmly locked into his torso
Everything else was fine though atleast, but still annoying as hell. Atleast I can just throw the Marine into the cockpit of the wasp so all those problems aren't apparent.
You dont need the flimsy plastic piece for the turret, 1 it likes to push the build apart. The frame isent strong to hold it down, 2 it doesent look right its not perfectly round when you put it on. I just threw it away. Plus i think it lookes better without it.

My only other comment is comparing it to the original except for some things like color and curvature, I like the original set from 2017 better. This is because you get an exclusive spartan, exclusive weapons, exclusive hunter, and even though you get more stuff with this set and the old ones proportions are a bit to large. It’s look seems better to me and the integration of design.
It does have more detail for sure. The price was higher then I believe and it's definitely higher now.
@@DemarcationMedia Agreed though as much as a I enjoy the 2017 one I think I would have preferred a size that’s in between the two I think. But yeah I do think the Wasp from 2017 was pretty expensive. Also for anyone who wants to attempt it (I want to try because it sounds fun) I challenge anyone who wants to build a Elephant close to or slight bigger in scale to the mega bloks elephant USING ONLY “Halo Infinite Builders Box” although specific parts needed for example the treads and/or crane is fine but made of 90% Builders Box. The builders box is on sale in most places so it would be a good time to pick any up in anyone wants.

I was going to buy this, I still might but with the reveal of the reach noble team falcon I'm going to have to put my money towards that it's a fantastic set. I hate the new Hunter the version in the pelican was far superior and what we should have received they cut corners with the cheaper set and "I don't like it" the same with the rubber arms for the grunts. The studed look of the wasp is a slight disappointment but the features and angels/overall shape of the build look great.
Yeah the Falcon is certainly a more exciting set
the falcon is definitely the better set, but idk if it's worth twice the price (or more thanks to scalpers), I think it's only worth that because of noble team.
40 bucks I might have to miss out if I want to save up for the new falcon

I think this set shouldve been bigger in terms of the wasp. Maybe a bit wider so the missle launchers can be in the right spot and extend and widen the tail

There seems to be some delays--It's just now barely showing up in the US and Canada. Hopefully the UK won't be too far behind
Hopefully, ever since halo 4, we haven't got any sets of halo in stores, u may be lucky to find some really old blind bags here and there. It was such a pain buying them online for reasons like over pricing, used and broken, scamming etc. Hopefully you are right and there are just delays.

I just got this set I love this set! And I agree that some of the pieces don't want don't stick together, I fell like I hate the rocket launcher that piece can just fall off so easy. And I hate the plastic part that plastic part that has to make the shade turent I don't like the plastic thing it does not look that great in my opinion. And maybe make a second part if you get the new plastic part of the shade turent?
Overall it's an amazing set but dang that plastic is bad. I did get a replacement actually and it is on now and in one piece

😂 Well yes and no. Halo Universe pretty much guarantees more Chiefs, but it's better to have too many Chiefs than none at all
Other than personally for me the lack of flat plates on the wasp and the proportions and the shade turret overall for me seems off. I can tell it’s a shade turret but comparing it to other mega shade turrets, it seems like a outlier, in a bad way. (Note I’ve found that quite a few infinite sets show a lot of studs, I think it’s just me who dislikes a lot of studs showing so take that with a grain of salt.

The old Wasp was WAY too big. And the shade is pretty close to accurate for the Infinite design.
