That was Lao Tzu. As in the Chinese philosopher. Definitely not a Sufi mystic. The real quote is “he who knows does not speak, he who speaks does not know.” Or at least that’s the most popular translation. I even googled your “those who talk” version + Sufism just to be sure and still all that comes up is the quote from the Tao te Ching.

Gnosis, Higher Power gives you the spiritual knowledge that comes from nowhere, yet it comes from you at the same time, and you are unlimited in this knowledge. But the mystic wants nothing, they don't desire the knowledge, or any power, fame etc. That is the humbleness of the mystic. This is what I try to be like too. But when Higher Power tells you that you can manifest what you want, take that seriously. Use it to get your life back on track, not to abuse that power. I have been blessed to have the opportunity to do such a thing. I needed help, and Higher Power came and is letting me try to heal myself from trauma and illness. It is an amazing blessing to have. I will not let Higher Power down.

When you serve others without expectation, but on faith that others will help, the astounding thing is that people will also give of themselves.. When you give of your time and concern, to others, you give them the opportunity to return that, but you shouldn't expect it.. The Miracle is the result of giving resources, time, concern, thought, etc.. It's the miracle that brings you closer to god..

      dimension 432z
I am sorry to say but these thoughts of yours dont match with the way Sahabas understood the path to Deen! Do you think and feel you have a better way to Deen, you can seek Qurb e Illahi better than those,(Sahabas), whose life are example for us?
I am sure any sincere human being be it a jew, Christian, Buddhist or hindu, when he/she thinks of reverting to Islam, they become a victim of Sahitan and he tells them... "it is just a different path the destination is the same, dont listen to anyone, the truth is in your soul, get to know yourself, you will find God" But is that the case in reality, Nope!!!
This is why God chose Prophets and Messengers to guide us and demonstrate and give a alive demo and show us the right path and the direction of the destination!
When the Prophet Muhammad showed you the straight path ( Quran and Sunnah), why do you want to take a different Path? Dont you Love Prophet Muhammad and Sahabas? Do you think you are Superior than them?
Dont you know your and mine worst enemy, Shaitan will draw a parallel path (initially) to the straight path and when you get comfortable with it that path will start getting away from the Siratul Mustaqeem, and you'll end up far away from it, even though you had the purist intention!
Have you read Surah Fatiha, with translation?
let me draw your attention to a hadees...
"in our Islam any new thing introduced which was not before in it is Mardud (rejected)"
(Sahih Bhukhari Part 1 page 371)
(Sahih Muslim Part 2 Page 77)
      (Mishkat page27)
"Any work which is done against our commandments is Batil (Absurd)" (Sahaih Muslim Part 2 Page 77)
I bet you will never hear these Hadees from the Sufi Sheikhs because sufism after ibn e Arabi is nothing but new things and bidats in Islam!!!!!

It completely changed me; I had no words to describe it other than Love , love love.
Fast forward 21 years, after so many other experiences of extreme sorrow, fear, mundanity, and it is still there. This is my purpose in life of recent-- to grow in that divine awareness. Nothing else matters. I thank you for this interview.

the fundamental basic of every religion is the same. whether you are a buddhism, sufism, muslim, christian, hinduism or judaism. It is about searching and be connect with the Divine in which is the Supreme Being. We as human are a trinity in nature. We are Person, the Awaken Presence and the Divine Presence. The Divince Presence is the state we need to be in to be connected to the will of the Divine and be in peace. At that stage you think of nothing but a total will of submission and feel the Divine giving you the wisdom.

    • @sully5810
      @sully5810 Před 11 měsíci

Agree with everything except a trinity in nature, there’s a oneness in divine nature but not a trinity, that’s what Sufism teaches and it makes sense, a divine creator has one logic and one connection tying all of creation together, there’s no one else other than one God behind it all

We come into the world as spirit with no identity, however to survive we need a "minder" who thinks. We create personal identity, racial, social, national etc. layers of self wrapped around the essence. Eventually we get sick and tired of trying to make life work via these roles. After many lifetimes of recreating the body we give up false identity and turn back helplessly to find ourselves. You could think of it as a game of being experiencing itself in all its forms - but a game that hurts when we are ignorant. Love to you my brothers and sisters.

I once read that the president of Dominoes Pizza, sold off his shares and bought catholic seminaries because he was afraid of going to hell, while this is a generous action, the concern is still self-centered.. It wasn't a concern for others, it was an expense in the interest relieving oneself of a fear. Sacrificial love is rare, that is giving up of oneself despite oneself.. So dying to save others as a last resort is very hard. But so is giving of oneself on faith that others will serve them.

Sufism is the heart of Islam and Islam means surrender to God; Islam does not mean belonging to a group or affiliation to any religious community. Islam is a state of soul (mind), it is a surrendering state. Lastly, Islam is not a religion of muslims, it is religion of God. So anyone can take it :)

This is done so people don't dare question/revolt against the uppermost class which is far above the rules of the nation, so send out feelings of Love and kindness and those upper class people will soon change...

The only problem with thinking that God has limitations we dictate is that we may live life with that concept, and it would limit how we perceive god and thus how we treat others.. So our perception of god has an affect on how we treat others.. Just look at all the diverse faiths, each one limits how people are able to behave, that's the danger of placing limitations on god, you limit what other men can do.. That's the danger of religion.. So you shouldn't think god is of one religion.

My only issue, is that we shouldn't attach any word to the word "mystic" or "mysticism", As mysticism is not exclusive to any one religion. In fact, I would say, that the underlying universal principles of religion are what matter, and absolutely everything else is chaff. That Prisca Theologia that develops when we research every religion, when we discover truth in life, when we practice, and when we unveil the unconscious aspects of mind, we see the universal religion, the religion of causes and effects.
Intentional and lucid use of Karma, of creating your own Karma, is the goal of every religion, every mystical school of thought, that is the goal to life.

But I receive no signs other than flickering lights.. I don't trust what I dream about, because I had a dream once of something I thought was the devil and it said "you are mine". To think that you are the devils, it's unthinkable. It says in the bible god loves you, but to be damned before you are dead, what is that?

First Off , no disrespect to the Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee. i hope god is pleased with him. But if u go to golden sufis website , thats his official website , u can find out that he comes from Naqshbandiyya-Mujaddidiyya Order of Sufism, which is an offshoot of Naqshbandiyya order. it was Founded by Imam e rabbani mujaddid Alf Sani Sheik Ahmed Faruqi Sirhindi (R.a). and most of the points that Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee states here strongly contradict to the teachings of its founder. Even if he doesnt claim to be islamic , he has gained his tranmission authority from the golden chain of islamic saints , which trace its origins to "Prophet Mohammed Peace be upon him. Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee has to be careful about what he speaks.

why he should be careful what he speaks, it's just a speech.....and where is the problem if he contradicts the teaching of its founder...... why there's always this dogmatic thinking about the right and true islamic path which always leads to conflicts then takfir after that a f***ing war! guys let's be honest here! there is no such thing as oneness or nonduality or we are one...consciousness, awareness, emptiness or nothingness, void, condensed nothingness..these are buddhism and hinduism philosophy and concepts such as in advaita vedanta and so on.... if you say or believe these things in quran's and muhammed's point of view you are infidel and that's it... many muslims say that sufism is not islam nor a part of it, if you say "i" or "my higher self is identical with god" you must be killed, don't f***ing bullshit me right now. Muhammed was not an enlightened being whatsoever....i was a muslim, (well maybe a muslim!!! because i was a little child) but as soon as i moved my thoughts a little bit, i became an atheist right away (oh!! thank god)........then one day i read WHO AM I by bhagvan sri ramana maharshi, a true enlightened master, he never ordered to slaughter sheep for a projection of mind (allah), he never ordered to kill by throwing stones on the head who made a sexual intercourse, he never promised 70 women in paradise if you kill in war, he never threatened by eternal hell if you don't f***ing kiss the groung 5 times a day for a projection of your mind, he didn't marry f***king 12 women among them a girl 8 years old, he didn't even speak............ except one word " WHO IS THE SEER" only then ...........I REALIZED I WAS GOD ALL ALONG

Jiraiya Sama quran says" we have created you with one soul" oneness is not budhist philosophy, it is islamic reality.

Mudassir Ahmed hhhhh you really make me laugh, i love the way you guys! bend the meaning of quran verses until it can take any shape and any meaning, the quran could be science, children stories, cosmology, physics, even quantum physics now with the pseudoscience heretics who claim scientific miracles in the quran, sometimes it even could be a book of food recipes... but the quran is similar to the upanishad or the bhagavad gita and talk about unity consciousness?!!!! that's the last score man!! wow... just wow....c'mon man! you and i clearly know that god is an object in islam not a subjective experience, and that was clearly mentioned in the islamic traditions when mohammed flew up to the seven heavens and he couldn't see god as his light is so strong....this is an object. and don't bend this story again and say it's a metaphor for oneness or something! for it could be easier if he just said " god is inside you" as in wisdom traditions of vedanta and buddhism....or jesus christ who said in the bible "i am that i am" and " the kingdom of heaven is within you"...Mr. Mudassir Ahmed! islam never and ever talked about oneness or unity, these great teachings has been there a long time ago 5000 BC or so in brahmanism and Vedic literature and anyone who told by pantheism as Mavlana Rumi and Ibn arabi considered infidels by the Shari'a of quran and the muslims community....Mr. Mudassir Ahmed! islam just can't fit in buddhism and hinduism soil and never will be......but you know what? fine! it's ok! your quran says " we have created you with one soul"...well! that's not oneness, and that's not true either, in buddhism and vedanta, god does not create nor destruct! god is just is, he is "i" ( i am that, I AM ), he/it is everything, the manifested and the none manifested...for god sakes tell me one verse in the quran that talks about consciousness, awareness or silence, " sat, chit, ananda " tell me one verse in the quran that mentions in its continent mind, thoughts, the gap between thoughts, chi or prana or whatever!!!! c'mon man! islam is not spiritual, islam is condemning religion and an evil one, and it should be eliminated from this earth for the good of humanity as long as there is people who still believe in its crazy teachings
PS: please don't steal other people's philosophy and adopts it as an islamic reality, your comment should be removed because of copyrights infringement
