He treats his vocal solos almost exactly like a horn player. I love how he exercises a certain control over his use of intervals and can stretch out very eloquent phrases with great rhythm and dexterity! Absolutely amazing 🔥🔥🔥

I found Michael Mayo, of all places, singing background vocals on the Moonchild Tiny Desk concert. Amber said that all of the Musicians had their own projects and that we should seek them out, and I did and was pleasantly surprised. I'm glad I found this remarkable Musician!
