I’d be very incredibly happy if you felt like sharing some of your favourite colorwork designs down in the comments!
Hope you enjoyed this video!
See you soon and HAPPY KNITTING, Elisa 🤍
Don´t worry about the bed! The person who complained must have some serious issues… Lots of CZcamsrs use their bedroom as a studio.
Indeed, I follow a lot of CZcamsrs who film in their bedroom! However, I always question myself and doubt my choices... It was good to share this with you and ask what you think. It's so nice to have such a lovely community 🥹❤️
Please don't worry about filming in your bedroom, your podcast is fun to watch ❤😊
Thank you! Your support is incredible ❤️
I cannot believe that someone mentioned you filming in your bedroom. It’s the content that matters. Do not worry one little bit. This is real life and we film where we can. I love your podcast. Your so inspiring to me and i watch all your episodes. Keep doing you ❤
Thank you so much for your kind words! This is incredibly encouraging. I really can't wait to film new content for this beautiful community 🥹❤️
There is nothing wrong with your space! It is clean and tidy, not distracting at all, and I'm here for your personality and your knitting, not your background :)
Thank you! This is so kind of you. I'm so happy to have this community 🥹❤️
Nothing wrong with your background, it’s lovely and we’re here for you and the knitting ❤
PS. Sound was great very clear
Thank you so much for the feedback! I really appreciate you taking the time to address my worries and support this channel 🥹🥰
Oh my goodness please don't even worry about filming in your bedroom. I honestly can't think of a single podcaster that I watch that hasn't filmed in their bedroom either once or even regularly. I just watched a video from the crazy sock lady who did a whole series filmed in hers! Love the audio, love your voice and love your podcast
Thank you so much! The support you're showing me is incredible. I'm speechless 🥹❤️

Don't worry about the bed or where you film. You are delightful!
Thank you! Having your support is so important for me! 🥹🥰
Most of us have beds. It’s not scandalous! You’re doing great.
Thank you so much! ❤️❤️
Hi Elisa! Thank you for the round up. I know you put a lot of work into making this video. Your background is fine and your microphone is great. I'm hoping to do a color work sweater in this calender year. Happy Knitting!
Thank you so much for reassuring me! This means a lot. I feel much more energetic and ready to produce new content 🥰🥹
Definitely don't worry about filming in front of your bed! Ridiculous! Your room is beautiful ❤
Thank you! I was really doubting all of my set-up choices, but at the same time I do not have any other space to film in! Sharing this experience with you really helped me ❤️
do not know how could someone complain about the bedroom space. Knitting is a very chill process, many times people actually knit in their bedrooms! and in the end, what matters is good lighting and actual content! Your podcast is amazing, don't mind about creepy comments
Thank you for supporting this channel! I really appreciate your comment ❤️🥹
The audio is perfect and your bedroom is lovely.
Thank you 🥹🥹❤️
The bed gives a cozy vibe to your video and I don't feel that it can get bothering.
Thank you! Cozy is exactly what I'm going for 🥰
Lots of Podcasters film in their bedrooms. It is not distracting at all. Your audio and lighting are very good. I look forward to your very delightful episodes!
Thank you so much! I feel so encouraged and I'm ready to post new videos 🥰
The bed comment made me subscribe so they did you a favour. Lovely podcast ♥️
You have to do what work best for you and the most important is you are sharing what you love to do. Do are doing and amazing thing and inspiring others 😊. Love your videos xx
Thank you! Your support is so important to me. It really gives me the energy and joy to keep going with this channel and produce content I enjoy! 🥹❤️
Your bedroom is lovely. You don’t need to change the space. Everything is perfect just the way it is.
Thank you so much for your kind words! I knew that sharing this comment with subscribers would have been the best thing to do, but I didn't expect such a warm response. Thank you 🥹❤️
😊what a beautiful selection thank you so much i love this episode 👌👌🌷🌷your room is beautiful don’t change the setting of your podcast
Thank you so much! Your support and kindness made me realize how special this community is even more 🥹❤️
Thank you Elisa. This is such a refreshing podcast/channel and I made note of many of your suggestions. Thanks for doing the research.
Thank you for watching this video! I'm happy you enjoyed it 🥰🥰
I think your space is great. I like the open and airy quality and was admiring the placement of the shelves and clothing rail as soon as I started watching the video. Very inspiring knitting content too. Subscribed!
Omg, thank you so much! This is really encouraging and I can't wait to film the next video 😍
Please dont worry about the bed. It is absolutely fine, and you can record wherever you want! Also the sound quality with your new microphone is very good.
Thank you for the feedback! I was sure that asking subscribers about it would have been the best thing 🤍
Thank you for such a lovely video. Your setting is perfect. Sound is great and lighting is great, very natural.
Thank you for the feedback on the video quality! I've been trying to make my content better and easier to watch and I think I'm on the right path! 🥰
This was fabulous and I am sure it was a lot of work!! I know a lot of knitting publications/books give the rights back to the designer after a certain time period. Hopefully the one you love from Pom Pom will be available for next winter as a single pattern for purchase. A good few podcasters make a Favourites bundle in Raverly and watchers will often purchase patterns for them as a thank you 😊 Take care 💓
Che gioia scoprire un nuovo canale!!
Grazieee 🥹❤️
I think the robinia sweater is a nice beginner colourwork sweater, where you have stripes but different. In a similar vein, I think a smaller project would be good to try out especially stranded colourwork, so think like Norwegian mittens in an Aran weight yarn. As an example: 214-54 a Fjord Mosaic Set, Mittens
For graphic colourwork, I love the Snip Scarf by Anna Husemann, and the anemone sweater by Pernille Larson
For intarsia, I love Curiosity by Claire Slade. It is so quirky, I love it
My personal dream colourwork cardigan is Galloway by Jared Flood. It doesn’t necessarily fit into any of your categories, but oof it is so stunning and the fit is gorgeous.
For scrap projects that are also beginner projects, there is a fairly scrappy hat by Theresa Schabes. I also like the sprinklify mittens by kutovakika. This last pattern is currently only available in her book, but she said she was planning to release the individual patterns on ravelry later this year
I love all your pattern choices❤
Thank you!!❤️✨
Another beautiful colorwork pattern I’m knitting now is Calypso Sweater by Black Cat Knitting Co. I love your pattern choices and enjoy your curating the list!
Wow! That's so interesting, I love floral details on colourwork sweaters! Thank you for sharing this pattern! 🥰
It was lovely to „bear with you“ 🥰. I also want to knit a colour work sweater this year! My second ever project was a colour work scarf and I knit some colour work socks last year, so I feel ready ☺️
Knitting colorwork small projects could be useful indeed! I'll consider it myself 🥰 thank you for sharing your experience and for watching the round up ❤️
The latest colourwork that i did is the Achikochi which i totally loved making and wearing.
It seems super nice and fun to knit! I'll add it to my favourites 🥰
Many knitters on CZcams film in their bedrooms. I wouldn't worry about it. If it bothers you that someone complained, I would suggest that you pull the blue blanket or cover fully over your bed so that the pillows are not so noticeable. Another great podcast and the sound was very good also!
Thank you so much for your suggestions! I'll maybe try that and see if I feel more confident. I'm happy you're enjoying the video! ❤️
The audio is clearer with your new microphone! I love color work, but have only made a couple of color work sweaters (I have made lots of color work accessories!). Thank you for sharing this great list of patterns!
Thank you! I think the audio is way better too, but having the feedback of subscribers is always better! And thank you so much for the support 🥰
Karlholm Cardigan is high on my queue!! I want to knit it this year!
It's beautiful! I love the fit and the design too 😍
Ciao 🧶 felice di avere scoperto il tuo canale 🎉
Ciao! Sono contenta di avere una nuova knitter nel gruppo🥰
People can be so rude and miss the point! Please don’t worry about your space.
Thank you! Your kindness is making my day so special and full of happiness. I'm speechless 🥹🥰
I enjoyed this roundup, especially I had never seen all the versions of the Paul Klee sweater before and it really is interesting in the varying levels of contrast. I also really love the Coverlet sweater which I almost considered buying yarn for, but then I realized that maybe I didn't really want to wear stranded colourwork with negatvie ease and also the neckline looks a little puckered and off to me. I somewhat doubt that it could be useful as a "spring" sweater though, depending on what you mean... it seems like it would end up quite warm in the double thickness that stranded colourwork ends up being.
I see what you mean! I didn't think about the thickness of the fabric with stranded colorwork ... I think that it's clear that I've never knit a colorwork sweater and that sharing my thoughts on patterns with you is always a good idea. Thank you for the advice! 🥰
I wouldn't worry about the bed. It's really just another piece of furniture. I lived in what was called a bachelor's apartment where it is basically just one main room containing the bedroom, living room, and kitchen, all as one, znd a bathroom on the side, and it was never an issue to invite friends over to visit. Your bed is neatly made, and that is all that matters. Maybe 100 years ago it mattered, but not in this day and age.
Thank you for sharing your experience! This really makes me feel better, I appreciate it 🥹🥰
Thanks. I'm always looking for colorwork inspiration. I'm always a bit uncertain what I want to knit when it comes to colorwork.
Happy that this video was fun and helpful ✨🥰
What a poor taste to make such a comment! Your content is great, so do not get discouraged by comments meant to be mean. Regards from Beirut.
Thank you so much! ❤️ I think sharing this comment with you was the best choice. Now I feel reassured, ready to produce more content and to have fun with this channel! 🥰
The bed being “too private” is a them problem not a you problem 😊 do and share whatever YOU want to share, if somebody doesn’t like it they can click off.
Thank you for the encouragement and the support! This is really important for me 🥹🥰
Unless you are IN the Bed and naked, I don't understand what the issue is with filming in your bedroom. First time I'm seeing your podcast. Looking forward to this and future editions.
Thank you so much for your feedback! This is really helping me become more confident about my content and this channel 🤗🤍
Oh, and welcome to the channel! This is so exciting 🎉🎉
My thoughts too! There’s no issue with the bed at all, unless you’re making a *very* different type of video (maybe the complainant didn’t realise this is a knitting podcast!🫣🤭😂😂😂) and personally I like seeing people’s spaces as I’m really nosy and enjoy seeing how others live! 😂 I really enjoyed this video 😊❤
I don't mind the bed at all. Actually, there are a lot of podcasters that film their podcasts in their bedroom and even while they are sitting on their bed. Don't worry about people writing silly comments.
Thank you so much for your support! Thai is really encouraging 🥹🥰
Hello from San Diego, what part of the world are you in? i think it is so cozy being in your bedroom, there is absolutely nothing wrong with filming in front of the be, so many other podcasts sit on their bed, you do you,
Hi there! I'm from Italy and I live close to Milan. It's so nice to know I can connect with people from the other side of the world through this channel 🥰
Hello. Dear have You seen Lene Holme Samsø newest pattern. It was released last Week?and If You like aegyoknit designs, maybe You also would like Anne Wenzel design ?
Hi! Yes, I've seen Lene Holme Samsøe's last design and I LOVE IT!!! it's gorgeous and I would have included it in this round up but I filmed this video before the release. However, I added it to the Raverly bundle to remember it for the next video maybe.
I know Anne Ventzel's designs: I never knit anything from her, but I included the Spot Sweater here and I'll knit it when I have enough scraps, I think✨🥰
There is absolutely nothing wrong with filming in your bedroom! Plenty of podcasters do it, I think its nice when people film from their homes, it feels cozy. You can't make everyone happy, some people are just looking to criticize.
Thank you for your kind words! It is really nice to know that people actually enjoy my set up because I was starting to doubt it! Thank you for the support 🥰🥹
If you want the window but a different setting you can try a different angle, having more of the wall on the left showing, and that way you can hang a nice artwork and have it in frame, or just arranging the cushions… but your setup is perfectly fine as it is, really. Can’t believe that people are that shallow 🙄
Also your audio is really good !!
I don’t like stranded colourwork, it’s a bit annoying and I don’t like the way the fabric behaves. I do all my colour work in intarsia when I can, or I knit very short stranded motifs, ie not more than two stitches of the same colour.
That's super interesting! I never thought about the possibility of knitting colorwork as intarsia. I'll have to do some research about the techniques and try out both of them to see what I prefer! Thank you for sharing your advice and for supporting the channel 🥰
Many young women who are presenting knitting from home videoing the only space available to them - their bedroom. If someone is commenting on that, it is the viewer's problem, not yours. Let it go.
Thank you for your feedback. There's nothing I can do about my setting as it is the only space available to me... And I actually like my room, so I'll stick with it 🥰
Ignore people who are offended by a bed. That's ridiculous. Some people should live in a cave away from other humans.
I try to listen to every comment, whether positive or negative because I think it can help me make my content better. In this case, asking you for feedback was the best choice: sometimes it's better to listen to what the majority tells you, and ignore single comments like this one. Thank you for showing support 🥰
Omg unless that person is paying for you to rent another spaces to film in disregard that’s rude and disrespectful of them…
I think they didn't know about my house status. They still were very civil and kind when expressing this opinion and I have to give them credit for that! ✨
Nothing is wrong with you filming in your bedroom there’s nothing inappropriate laying out and about the complainer needs therapy and that’s not your problem.
Thank you for your words! This really encourages me to produce new content ☺️🥰
