T3 Alliance Hilo Hawaii Summer 2018

This summer I was super fortunate to be able to give high school students at the upward bound uh Hilo program a basic overview on documentary filmmaking. Here are clips from various student projects about the overall program. They learned and practiced the basics of shooting and conducting interviews as well as how to put it all together. There are many awesome moments from the past summer but for now here are a few highlight moments to enjoy. They learned how to build and program computers from scratch while making films about the process. Can’t wait for the next class to begin! So much to share.
