Good review! I bought a bottle while in the Dublin airport. It was a blind buy but since I’ve tried “regular” Black Barrel so I figured it would be good. I was wrong. It wasn’t good. It was great! Definitely a better taste than regular 80 proof BB - which is very good. I’m a pot still kind of guy, but this blended was a great addition to my bar. Next time I fly internationally I’m definitely going to try and find a couple of bottles to bring home to Texas.
It’s just almost impossible to get here in Singapore, so i got crazy lucky!

Worth the wait for a special occasion
Have you considered for your next whisky review to drink the whisky to the shoulder, leave it for a few weeks to open up, and then do a review? The whisky would have opened up and should taste its best. Sometimes, the neck pour may not represent how the whisky actually should taste.
I remember you mentioned this for the monkey shoulder! I did try it again a couple of weeks later, but it didn’t actually change my opinion
