she sounds very similar to Tuca's aunt, just with different intonations (wich makes sense in the continuity) i'm not sure it's the same VA, but i wouldn't be surprised if it is
@「℘Đєsᴛᴀɴɪᴇ℘」 yeah she did, iirc tuca's auntie said something like "it's just like your mother to not be wearing a seatbelt." in one of tuca's flashbacks
Honestly that would make a lot of sense. Especially since Terry and Talula seem to view Truly in a more negative light, with Terry mentioning how cps was always at their house, and Talula mentioning how they were always running around barefoot. Makes me wonder if Tuca's tendancy to be irresponsible came form Truly.

I love how you know everything about Tuca's mom from this one scene: a humble woman with a humble job and humble goal of supporting her family. Probably had to bring her daughter with her to work because she couldn't afford a babysitter. man if it weren't for the flashback of tuca's auntie saying it was 'just like her to not wear a seatbelt' this scene would've made me think that tuca's mother died from being hit by a car after tuca ran out into the road...
For those who don’t know, Tuca’s mom is voiced by Jackee Harry. She played the mom in ‘Sister Sister’, which I grew-up watching as a child. She’s currently a new character in the soap opera ‘Days Of Our Lives’.
Tuca's mom is like my dad who passed away when I was 11 years old. He was a nice guy who helped anyone out. Even giving $20 - $40 to homeless people too. Man I still haven't got it over me from his death because stupid cancer got him.... He would've been happy for me for still following my visual arts career and seeing my Pokemon collection grow. I still have the first and last legit card he gave me... An Axew McDonald's promo card from 2012.... ..... I still hold it dear to me. And right now I'm planning it on getting it signed by the VA of Ash Ketchum and then send it to get graded. I want to place it like a trophy 🏆 . I still miss my dad ngl.... We were both inseparable like two peas in the pod.
Man, I wish I had a Dad like that. Mine never did anything for me except pay child support, outside of that, I never saw him. (And he and my Mom weren't married so they didn't get a divorce, he just refused to take responsibility for the life he helped create)
Oh wow, this is such a bittersweet comment. my own father passed away suddenly when I was 16 and although he thought every pokemon was pikachu, he still supported my love for the franchise ❤️
@@Nyax50Lopez Thanks. I'm not too broken up about it because I have a Mom who loves me and cares for me no matter what. She's taken good care of me ever since she had me at age 19, balancing parenting with work and college and I can't even begin to express my gratitude to her

I'm not sure if it had to do with best spoiled but I think Terry had to face alot with trying to take care of her younger siblings after her mother died. She said so herself thst she had to grow up so the others could keep their childhood.
@@jessicavictoriacarrillo7254 hehe I love my nieces and nephews, but as a woman approaching 40 who has chosen to stay childfree, I can understand not being thrilled with the prospect of taking on the responsibility of all those kids if anything happens to their parents. I will provide all the financial help I can without having to give up my childfree life. And that's the honest truth.

As someone with ADHD it sounds like both Tuca and her mother may have it. Many people who have it are considered party people and criticized as being irresponsible for their challenges/behaviors, and alcoholism can also be a huge problem for folks who are undiagnosed and struggling to treat the pain of managing overstimulation and overstimulation. Not at all trying to excuse her actions and every person is different based on their life experience and trauma, this is just my take based on personal experience. Tuca's mom reminds me a lot of mine who neglected me and struggled with addiction throughout her life. This would explain why she still sees her mother fondly, many children get to see the best sides of them and are sheltered from the negative until its too much to ignore. I still love my mom and think of her fondly because its hard to not focus on the memories you have of them when they were at their best.
