I understand how unbelievably hard this stuff is to play, but goddamn the drummer needs to practice.
he did pretty good considering the material though and compared to other metal bands live but it sounds like the triggers weren't setup correctly either because his timing was actually good. It was the unevenness of the velocity of the double bass hits when going fast that was poor.
Word af!! the previous drummer who unfortunatly quit, could play the parts legit, and that was som fast fukkin parts!

@@maimhu that's what it sounds like to me. His timing was spot on but he had uneven velocity which suggests a trigger issue
Yep, sounds like a familliar trigger pad problem which doesn't register the hits properly when played fast. The drummer of my band is often struggling with the same issue and we couldn't solve that yet :D
What? This is supposed to be the Ashen tour, not Välde...
There’s still a couple tracks off Ashen in the setlist but I get you

@@1banez Maybe using triggers in some parts that don't really need them. He's using overusing them in way that doesn't help the song at all, sadly...
