Today we have Josef Bresan and Lukas Pöhlmann the founders of PÖHLMANN-BRESAN on the channel. AFter working together at Lang & Heyne they started their new brand and the attention to detail is immaculate. Enjoy the interview and we wish PÖHLMANN-BRESAN and the team all the best!

Would you choose the blue or grey dial? Who should we have next on the channel?
Grey dial
Blue,and should be sunburst!
I love learning about new, young watch brands! Two very qualified watchmakers. I need to look more into Yunge now!! 😱💕💕💕
Great looking movement. Skeletonizing the bridge plates on the Lip26 was such a good idea.
A smaller font of "JUNGE" and placing "Made in Germany" bellow the minute track would be more understated and elegant.11:39 nice shot. Would be even nicer if the watches were synchronized to the very second.
Totally agree , that dial still needs some work but the movement looks gorgeous!
I agree. The watch looks great but the logo design needs more thought and development.
Their name and location is on the reverse. A professional concrete man never signs his work. Im thinking on the case
This is just wonderful Marco. As always you take us back 200 years in a good way, watching two watch makers now starting their own brand in their own way…. Really nothing better for me.
Nice watch, gorgeous movement, look at those details 🤩. What a watch to start a brand with, I wish them all the best.
Great watch with an impressive movement. Thanks for highlighting these independent watchmakers!
Blue 💙 dial brings elegance to the simplicity of the dial. Ichiban interview from such talented watchmakers in their prime. 💪
Great to see a new watch brand by real watchmakers instead of a marketing company!
Wishing you all the best to make it in the watch world!
Cheers!
Very nice watches. Fantastic movements. I am sure this would appeal to leftfield high end watch collectors. Good luck to them.
Also a thank you Marco for championing the unsung heroes of the watchmaking world giving them a platform to showcase their stuff to more mainstream audiences. It is very refreshing to have a watch channel that doesn’t flash Rolex all Over the place to attract views.
Please keep it up!
I love that you support young watch makers
A whole new movement… by hand …. I love the name… congrats
Looks amazing, these guys will go far. Lange and Heyne is an underrated company and a great place to learn a lot of watchmaking skills. Fair price point for what is involved and how much work went into the watch
Great watches, great idea to work with this amazing Lip movement architecture from the 60s. You have done an excellent job refining and reinventing this masterpiece of engineering. Some may say the pricepoint is too high, but since independent watchmaking is a very capital intensive business that doesn't even cover global marketing strategies at this point. With 48 pieces per year and a little over 800.000€ in revenue, you still struggle to break even. Most people that don't really understand the business model behind an independent watchmaking brand will think you set the price point too high and will buy yourselves Bentleys with the money, but these people will never be within your target audience. I would personally love to visit your manufacture to produce a video about your process and products at no cost, since these pieces are absolutely outstanding. Keep going - german watchmaking is still top notch and you showcase that!
This is pobeda 2608 architecture
Lip26 is pobeda 2602 😉
Great work!
Great watch with an impressive movement. but would politely suggest you change the font to something smaller and more refined, clue is the difference between the JLC branding and that of Daniel Wellington.
17k € + Tax? Seriously? Thats nearly A. Lange & Söhne Saxonia territorium.
Thats what I was thinking. Way too much competition by other brands some even German in that bracket. I think for stainless steel they are priced too high but cool watches :/
Write a business plan and please only compare pricing, if you hava a total understanding of the whole business behind watchmaking. I'm talking about equipment procurement, materials, development etc. etc. etc. If you can make a calculation that results in a MSRP of 2.000€ with only 48 pieces - which results from their limited production capacity - please go ahead. If not, please think before commenting.
@@marioquattronix fucking exactly, some consumers are just so far up their asses they don't even know how economics work
@@Dazulolwarrior strongly agree. They don’t get the business and market view. They only care about „dOeS tHiS kEeP iTs VaLuE?!“ because they are only here for the hype and not watchmaking craftsmanship and evolving businesses..
Well, If your Business plan tells you, that your product is expensive and there are better competitors like A.Lange... than just don't do it.
Good work. Solid watches.
Design brief: Something understated... Something like a piece of art. Result: Nailed it!!!
Nice video mate🥃
Really, really well designed. Especially the blue dial is mesmerizing. Well done, gentlemen I dare say.💪
The lettering is too large and it's printing makes it look cheap. An applied logo would have been better. The dial, although just OK, is a little too monotone it has no wow factor. The movement looks nice.
Superb.
Nice designed watches & titanic prices.
The movements are stable, well-known and very well proven Soviet Russian Pobeda caliber 2608. (Based on caliber 2602, a LIP licensed movement design with side second hand.)
Anyhow, interesting project - good luck 🤞
Regards Einar H. 🇳🇴
Beautiful watch. LOVE the movement! Price seems very high for a new watch brand. The logo on the dial is too big and cheapens the appearace of of the watch, in my opinion.
You should video in shutter priority mode for the close ups
handsome looking minimalist watch with great finishing and movement construction, it's pretty much in line with what they did at Lange & Heyne. although to be honest the price is pretty up there for what it is 😅
the font is huge ! its all i see
The brand name on the watch face is too big. The minute track does not line up the indices. The display caseback is nice
I wish there were a way to know how much hand finishing is put into a watch. Too much hype in the watch space.
I see a lot of Damasko DK105 in this
I will buy Nomos
The movement is old soviet Pobeda - central second am i right???
Prussian watch, nice
🥰🥰🥰
For that price you do get better watches
How I could be covinced to pay three times more than the Nomos ?
If you can convince Philippe Dofour , I will be totally convinced .
Nizar
its looks like iwc watches
1960's movement with some finishing. Huge font. Boring dial color. Don't see the appeal at that price point. I'd go for something like a H Moser Pioneer for 12.9k... Beautiful striking dials, Unique case, great movement and finishing.
16K for an utterly boring watch from a pretty much unknown name. Yeah not in this lifetime.
yeah the price is definitely up there for what it is 😅
Movement base is pobeda 2608...
Most of the individual brand overprice themselves
'promosm' 💖
Unfortunately, the name Junge does not work internationally, like 'Rolex'. Even English and French speakers will see this name and pronounce it very differently to the Germans. I hope they will think of a better name going forward.
Yes. And Junge means in German also Boy. So, why an high end watch is called like that?
They did. It’s Pöhlmann-Bresan now, full name change to the watchmakers’ last names.
Also bitte erst überlegen, dann rechnen, dann kommentieren.
Also bitte, ich bin gespannt.
Price: 16.750 EUR (before tax) expensive for a "new brand"
Beautiful watches!.
$17k for a 1960's movement?! Some people have too much money and zero common sense. Good on these guys for capitalizing on their stupidity.🤣

It might be crazy good but I really don't like how the logo looks.
I don't understand who should buy the original one with the design, one's feet fall asleep😴
