- In this installment Bobby and his crew are still on the Oceanic Tract in Currie, NC. It has been business as usual....dealing with equipment breakages, short staffed, and rising water.
For awhile, it looked as if the water was going to stay down...but again Raleigh cracked the tap on the levy and the waters began to creep up once again.
We start off with the guys being on a long one mile pull from beyond the old road in waist to chest deep swamp water all the way to the deck. Well, rising wasters quickly put the brakes on that and now they are faced with an alternative.

Bobby you are the worlds greatest dad and boss in my opinion bud. You show us just what it is to be a great leader.
Bobby must be the worlds greatest boss... I see a lot of these guys who are still with him from way back when this was a tv show.....they turn their own wrenches, they help each other out.. and its a grueling job... every guy in this video is clearly smart enough to do something else.. but they keep cutting and hauling wood for Bobby..Good Job Mr. Goodson....

There's nothing i like better than to come in and watch Bobby and his crew work there machines in the woods.They have big machines, big tires, big logs, big bolts,everything on the job is BIG ?? All the men on his jobs are BIG to ,did not see one under 250 Lbs.. So Bobby, they must be hitting that 100 loads a week, because they are BIG. Stay Safe.. Texas

It's funny how these guys love their fancy new trucks and their creature comforts but the ones that always pull you through in a pinch are the old faithful, no frills workhorses like that white Mack truck in this video.

The thing I like about the videos, is everybody gets along, and works as a team. When you've been together as long as this crew, they become family. One big, hard working family. Good job! I miss logging a great deal. Here in Arizona they shut the majority of the logging down back in the 90's, thank you Spotted Owl and tree huggers. If they would have just understood that the logging is best for everyone concerned. We here in Arizona don't have the water like you do over on the East side of the country and if the woods are not managed right and we let everything grow and don't harvest our timber, that it will just catch fire and burn, like California did this past season. Bobby stay strong and keep showing the World what benefits that logging, loggers and timber men do to keep our Country strong and turnning. Thank you and God bless. R. G. Patton Sr.

@@swamploggersnc4720 Yes sir! I think Paul Harvey said it best. He couldn't understand why it took 34 square miles for the spotted Owl to mate and only the back seat of a VW bug for teenagers to do the same.

I like the opening music. Wayne and Terrell's commentary make me smile. I would like to hear commentary from Gary, I love his accent. Oh Gary was in more than one segment, that was funny about him selling a ticket to Abraham and Abraham won a 100.00. Bobby is so blessed to have such a great crew working for him. I'm sorry to hear about your torn bicep Bobby, hope it heals fast for you. Ghost Pepper challenge-oh yeah I agree with Bobby, leave me out of that. Thank you for your videos and your team your team is awesome we watch it as much as we can I wish I was back in the day when I could still get around and cut a tree myself back we had different equipment those get is today are a lot different then the skin as of yesterday's because I know we had Clark skitters timber line skaters I'm not even sure if they make them anymore but anyways it's great to see a team work together it really is it's oppressive you can be done when the team reacts everybody's a winner thank you so much for sharing your videos with us

Love to watch your videos, you have a completely different environment to log in but we share many of the same problems. You’ll love new trucks, we were in a similar situation 5 years ago then we began to replace all our trucks with new ones, we have 2 more coming this year, that will give us 9. We’ll start trading them off after 5 years, it takes about 1 year to get one so we have 2-3 on order most of the time. Our trucking cost is way done and production is up, also we have been able to attract more drivers with new trucks. Really enjoy your videos and the quality and effort you put into them, it truly helps the image of our industry. God Bless, Mike Cook, Cook’s Forest Products, Michigan

loved the video, your crew use to stop by my mother and father store, it was on highway 24 she use to talk about your crew stopping by and buying soda's ice and other things. my mother and father are both deceased now but the stories i remember. but please keep the video's coming.

Good to hear from you again. My 1982 Peterbilt has over 4 million miles the motor wont rebuild last time had to buy a short block. still runs and drives as good as it did when i bought it 30 years ago!! Wish you good luck with your new ones!!!

JJ.... I really am lucky. These guys are family out here. We all ride together to work each morning together...we stop and grab coffee otw to the jobsite. We have a great time and fellowship with one another...yea I would say I am blessed.

There’s definitely a difference between loggers and farmers. As a farmer when we break something we have to fix it 95% of the time. Watching loggers it seems like they have mechanics that fix all their stuff when it breaks. I know some of the truckers work of their trucks but still it seems like Justin works on just about everything just like a farmer does. Gotta know a little bit about everything and what you don’t know you have to learn. Love these videos though, I love seeming men still out there doing hard work. #American #hardwork #doingwork #gettingthejobdone! Love it all!!! 💯💯💯

Enjoyed the video. great crew who see each other as family. Makes a winning team who stays together making work better. Discovery channel made a mistake trying to turn Goodsons logging into Hollywood type crap. Working class people understand what a good job is and maybe a little jealous of not having a good job to go into everyday. The new trucks will bring smiles for drivers and Justin from not doing repairs on them hopefully.
