"Don't Pull Your Love" by Hamilton, Joe Frank and Reynolds is very similar, another great song. Also the Ozark Mountain Daredevils, "If You Want To Get To Heaven", worth checking out.

I believe this IS the studio version dubbed over a live video. The song does fade out at the end in the studio version. I saw them in concert back in the '80's and of course, the song didn't fade out when performed live.
Used in a very underrated comedy circa 1980 called Little Darlings. This is such a nostalgic song for me.
Loved that movie and everyone in it! Alas, Little Darlings could never be played today without getting cancelled. It was a different time and a generation ago yet toay’s culture systematically casts aspersions to the yesterdays, without context. ✌🏽

My dad used to play this album when I was little. I forgot how funny they looked. Even for a 10 year old in 1984 I thought they looked funny.
