thats so cleann, i like your modding, practical and straight to the point!
solid compliment thanks so much!
The GMK 67 is actually VERY easy to remove the top plate on! Simply grab the base and use your thumbs to push the top trim away from the base (as opposed to trying to lift) and it will literally pop along the edge without breaking. Same goes for the front only there are really only two clips holding the front together. Hope this helps someone else not spend too long or breaking clips! Awesome build!!!!
I know I saw that video too, so useful
I have a GMK67, and love it.
Is the polyfill being near the battery a fire hazard? Or no?
can you show us more about the artisan keycap on your keyboard ?
3:12 Well your right, i bought some durock v2 stabs for the keyboard and i had lubed all of them and put them in and then i realised they didnt fit the plate.
does the screw in stabs feature also work on the gmk81?
Hey! Great video.
Did you put something over the battery when putting polyfill in the case?
super cool build!!! does it have plenty of space under the PCB? greetings from the Philippines :DDD
whats is the green switches? kiboom matcha latte or feker matcha?
Hello, where did you buy your polyfill sheet? and also how thick was it?
i just ordered from shopee philippines and its 3/4 inch thick
Did you remove the two foams included between the plate and pcb?
hahah i love the subtle "aray" but I hope you were alright. Thanks for the thorough start-to-finish review
finally someone noticed! hahahaha im alrightt didnt get scratched or what, thanks!
Thanks for your video! Did you lube switches?
What size shift key do you need for the gmk67 on the right?
1.75u
Whats a good website to purchase this ?? I want one !!
Wow
how do you shape your polyfill like that
Where did you get those keycaps
where did you buy this keycap ?
can i use stock foam and 3 layers of tape? its my first time building keyboard and i wanna know if i can use stock foam and tape mod togheter
hello! I'm doing a gmk67 build as well, I've read some stuff about polyfill and how you shouldn't stick it close to a battery as it is a fire hazard and such, I'm curious on how you handled this concern, did you put any protective stuff over the battery? I have polyfill on my gmk67 as well, and I don't know if I should just remove it entirely (I like how it sounds though, and I wouldn't want to do that) or put something between the polyfill and the battery. thanks!
I saw the reddit threads too but when I went on a real keyboard enthusiast discord channel, everyone laughed at that question. It really isn't that serious since polyfill can sustain temperatures over 200 degrees celsius and the battery would never go above 45 degrees celsius so theres no issue with it. Though in this video, I feel like he did not put enough polyfill inside cuz I put double the amount and it still fits.
how do I change the lighting? Mine came rainbow and I wanna turn it off
great video :) where i can get those keycaps ?
Kala ko from another country puta nag tagalog hahah i subscribed hahaha! My GMK will arrive soon ill base my mod from this
what keycaps are these?
is polyfill+tape mod safe for the batteries? baka mag liyab gmk67 ko.😅
san ka nakabili keycaps ng gmk67 sir?
what is the name of your keycaps thanks
What are these green switches called?
Is it VIA compatible?
does the board sound kinda silent to you? I just got mine and it does for me
Depends on the switches from my experience. Eg My board is way louder with akko lavenders installed compared to my gateron silvers
hello! just bought my gmk67, does it really to be dielectric greese or can i use krytox as well when lubing the wires po? thank you!
yep u can use krytox or whatever works best for u
I wish they used screws for the case that would make the board more premium.
Also the software is nowhere to be found and has to be published.
Nonetheless the GMK67 is a very nice keyboard, great sounding stock.
Even the stabilizers are good in my case.
for real it was so hard to open it considering that its supposed to be a "custom" board.
i havent tried looking for the software yet tho
yeah i heard that some peoples stock stabs are great out of the box no rattles or ticks but i guess i just did a bad job on tuning mine lol
@@noobuilds this guy opens the case without tools ! czcams.com/video/HGCxa9VV4rM/video.html
@@andremuller252 i feel like id break my hands before i open the case if i did that
are the switches lubed?
Is that painters tape or masking tape?
Salve! Poderia mandar o link da keycaps?
Hello, nice guide!! Do you use only 1 layer for the tape mod?
i usually use 2
Can u please help me? I wanna see if my keyboard is defective. When i'm connected in bluetooth or 2.4hz if i turn down my pc it doesn't turn off the leds of the keyboard or even if it's unplugged it doesn't turn off. Yours do this also??
There should be a off button on the keyboard
❤Good vídeo 👏
But know names music Bottom?
Screwdriver?
Just a noob question 😅
If it's a gasket mounted, should I still use o-rings?
no need bc there are no screws to use it on unlike tray mounted ones etc
@@noobuilds thank you!!!
5:08 you forgot to put band-aid under the stabilizer stem, so the stem can't hit the PCB. Next the band-aid into the stem ?
hahaha ayos mineski card pa gamit
I feel you. Struggle is real sa top case. 😂
sobraaa grabe talaga nagsimula ako may araw pa tapos ginabi na ko dahil diyan hahahaha
are these clone gmk keycaps?
Give me the link of keyboard
struggle is real sa pag open nung board hahaha pati ako nahirapan sa pag bukas nyan sis nabali pati yung spudger ko 🥹
whoa thats intense!! 😱 pero check comments may naglink ng mas madaling technique sa pagbukas eh hahaha
This or GAS67. Planning to buy
get this instead of gas67 because this is already southfacing, is trimode, has a knob, and i think it has its own software?
1:03 🤣🤣
Behave nice with your board.. Why so ruff ?
i cant grip shit with my smol hands so i gotta put in extra force but the board is all good dont worry
You didnt use any mods on the stabs and it sounds like this? thats insanely good!
wire balancing makes a good difference when done right.
@@Nunrii do you have a good guide for it? I tried my best to do it on mine, but I wasnt aware how to balance them correctly.
@@lightzin Its mostly trial an error, use empty pens to do the balancing and use your phone screen to test which one is unbalanced.
whats the bg music from 3:06?
lemon cake
0:24 sakit?
What switch?
i think akko cream yellow
Nattempt ako bilhin to rn 😢 or hintayin ko magsale ung keychron v2 😂 idk yet

@@noobuilds walang stock ng black variant eh kaya im waiting. ready naman na switches and keycaps ko
I just want to make sure but are you sure it supports screw in stabs?
Could you try and put durock v2’s in there so I know if it fits or not?
Why can’t they make the plate fit both kind of stabs?
It does support it 7 months later
did you find out bro? planning to use screw in stabs for this keeb but not sure if it will fit the plate
Yeah, it does work. I have a GMK67 and it has the screw holes for screw in stabs, and has the correct plate needed. I'm 99% sure, and if you really concerned I'm 100% sure you can just use a nail file to file down the plastic to make them fit if they dont. But again I am almost 100% percent sure it will work @@jom8500
Nice work! Where did you get your keycaps from?
thank you! these are just gmk mictlan clones
why tf are their neon noises
what name is keycap ?
gmk mictlan but these are clones
