How does it grind the beans without damaging the filter?

Hi, does not grind the beans. You can measure the beans in the filter so you know how much to use - then you need to grind them in a separate grinder. Then we put the grinds back in.

Good video, however, by placing the coffee beans in the filter, it gives the impression that the maker grinds the beans. This can be confusing to the watcher.

Hi! Well it’s not whisper quiet. It does make noise, but not excessive. I’ve heard worse! I have a separate video on the grinder out here as well

Have you descaled the machine yet? If so have you used vinegar? I did my first descale using Durgol.. kept seeing how Vinegar has a smell bla bla does not work as well.. I want my machine to last... so i didnt mind the extra expense.... Not sure if you keep a timer how long it takes to brew the cups you normally brew it helps me keep track if the machine needs to be descaled.

We did just do the descaling thing not too long ago. Keep in mind... vinegar does smell - but as it dries, the smell goes away!

@@lesliwitte3073 Hey great hearing form yea so i went with Durgol universal to descale this machine as mentioned i want this to last. I went with this product as swiss usually have quality stuff.. i recently upgraded to my first Espresso machine as well Breville Bambino. I still love this drip maker i wish it was more affordable so more people could enjoy it.

This coffee maker was disappointing to say the least . The coffee maker has no water control built into it if you just want to make two cups of coffee and the tank is filled up it will brew all the water in the tank which just shows lazy manufacturing. I swapped mine for a ninja coffee maker and like it a lot better in terms of coffee customization etc and taste.

Considering how easy it is to fill the water reservoir... putting just how much water you need is really... a non issue. Personally i dont care to keep water sitting in the machine.. But then again each their own.. i also dont mind grinding my beans fresh you might not care for that either.. The beauty is you found a machine that works for you... This wolf is solid i got it for a very good price and if it lasts 10 years i will be happy.

This is the worst coffee maker we have ever owned. Coffee tastes no different than our trusty Cuisinart. Messy, messy, messy. Coffee grinds everywhere whenever you move the machine. Even slightly. Does not brew a hot coffee unless you put really hot water in it. For what this thing costs it should be seamless. Have tried every troubleshooting point. Don't bother with this machine.

I am sorry to hear you have this experience. We have not experienced that at all. I wonder if your maker is defective somehow. We have had nothing but perfect brews!

I have no idea what the other poster is talking about not having a hot cup I have measured the coffee coming out and depending on the roast I am seeing 190F-193F ... You don't need coffee hotter then that.. as far as your coffee tasting no better... What coffee are you using? Are you grinding fresh? What you put in is what you get out.. there is perfectly awesome supermarket coffee but if your using pre ground... Bargain brands your not going to see a heck of a lot of difference. Edit I brewed hot water and measured the temp after 4 and half hours and it was 150F.... Ideal coffee drinking temp is 140F so still remained hot maybe defective carafe...
