You are a great educator. Here in UK these machines are made by Stihl .. who give you no information on how to service.

Thank you for the compliment! We have tried throughout the years to support our customers and empower them to get the most out of their investment in these machines! And I had a great teacher! He is the gentleman in our earliest videos and is so stinking smart with these units!

My long brush clutch spring isn't really engaging causing the brush to rotate poorly .. any ideas?

Mr. D A, I am unsure as to what you are referencing as the "clutch spring" within these units' front brushes. There is a clutch on the underneath side of the front brushes but there is no spring. I believe the easiest way for me to answer this question would be for me to ask that you call us so we can email you over the Parts List with schematic. That will facilitate a better understanding of the part you are referencing and a more accurate response. You can reach us at 800-242-1378, ext. 2180.-ASE

@@bissellcommercialcustomers4100 Hi, thanks for the reply. Its the spring inside the drive sprocket to the rear roller. I've replaced the sprocket, the clutch spring and the axel and needless to say the reassembly is correct .. it still wont really grab. What I've noticed is that the spring goes into the sprocket really easily (doesn't need to be wound in as shown) and I'm wandering if it's a tolerance issue. Have npw lined the inside of the sprocket with one wind of electrical tape to fractionally reduce its diameter, this has helped enormously.

@@mr.d7372 I really need you to call in with these issues as we will need to forward you over the parts list so that you can confirm that you are referencing the spring inside of the pinion gear.-ASE
