I luv this charm! I really like how you did the ear's, such a good idea, cutting around the bottom piece, instead of mushing them together. I just subscribed, cant waite for future vids. Thanx (:
yeah I dunno how well that would work o__o I have really small hands so it's hard to find latex gloves that fit tight enough to work well with clay o__- someone recommended to use alcohol and cotton swabs once, I've also heard that sculpey clay softener helps as well. Fingerprints don't usually bother me that much though so it's never been anything I put too much thought into haha. I'm more obsessed with dust
aww thanks =] I don't like...directly use tutorials for most of my charms. If I do use them, it's just kind of as a guideline and I give people credit when they inspire me =] I love making totoros though, so I think maybe my next tutorial will involve one =]
yeah for whatever reason a lot of the stuff I sell on etsy doesn't get fingerprints on it o__o I guess it must be the nature of the items. I used to use bake shop clay because it was affordable but the fingerprints were super noticeable. one of the best clays I've used to keep fingerprints away is fimo classic. It's super hard though and you have to spend forever conditioning it -___-
I have an etsy. They charge a little bit to go on there, but it's not very much. If you sell something for $5.00 they might charge you like...40 cents or something small like that
but yours is so fat and cute ^^ is there a tutorial you used when u made yours? btw, u are my clay inspiration! i love all of your charms Alex! amazing! stunning! cute! ^0^
the clay you're using might be too soft x_x I'd suggest letting your charms sit and rest for a little bit (the warmer they are from working with your hands, the softer your clay) and then stick the eyepin in =]
I'm thinking of starting an etsy, that's why I thought customers would be fussy about it XD I think it depends on the type of clay too? I'm not sure. Like for sculpey bakeshop.. it's SOOOOO soft D: The fingerprints are uber ugly! And I see your obsession with anti-dust clay. I could tell from that video XD XD XD

Hermoso saludos desde argentina🇦🇷
maybbe =] there are some totoro tutorials online already though so I gotta think of something unique involving totoro first
I have a giant rolling pin of doom that I use to knead my fimo into submission xD

I use bakeshop but I hate it, and yep for most of my charms I use fimo soft which is also A PAIN. Literally. It's so hard D:
Aww this is so adorable! Can u make a totoro tutorial? (:
You could always freeze it before you stick the wire in... :D
all my research says to use latex gloves while working with clay. but it's so cumbersome!!! :(
hey alex, could you do a tutorial on how to prevent fingerprint marks while working with clay?
I could try =P to be honest I'm pretty bad about fingerprints myself XD but maybe I can do some research and share my findings =]

if u open an etsy i heard this that u have to pay for the website?
Whenever I stick eye pins or wire through my charms, it always deforms it :(
