You can always tell there's carp in a pond when the waters as brown as sewage 😂. Too bad were in stage four lockdown now you can barley go anywhere anymore. Lookin forward to some more fishing videos soon. Tight lines mate!! 🤞👍

I can't wait till we are allowed to fish again been wanting to hit up a couple new spots and because its spring the carp in the river are finally awake.
Cheers Rohan! They are always hungry in this pond haha. I think the Campaspe river and Dandenong creek share a similar trait it's that they become really slow around this time. Hopefully you hook up next time you go out stay safe bro!

Hi Mikos, It Depends on the state. Here in Victoria its super Illegal to release and there's heavy fines if you release them. In the ACT & NSW I believe you are allowed to release them. Good luck tomorrow!
I don't like to kill them as they are my favorite fish but in Victoria. They are considered a invasive species and releasing one we could face heavy fines.
@@SinghFishing ah i didnt realise you were in australia...im from UK and came to visit my auntie in adelaide...brought my carp rods and on my 1st day i caught a 17lb common...people told me they never seen carp so big in australia and they fished for them for years so i was pretty happy. i released them all as i couldnt kill a carp but i understand very risky, whats your biggest aussie carp?

The only two rods I use is the shimano quickfire combo which has the sienna reel with berkely fireline. On the other is a rod from bait & tackle direct which has a diawa crossfire and some sort of diawa braid.
Hahaha it's an awesome pond with tons of no fishing signs I bet they added the signs because the pond was that good hahah nah jks! I usually use a knife to kill them but my knife was super dull so I knocked it on the head with a rock.

They are cheaper than the more expensive stuff but i reckon they work just as well would definitely recommend picking one up.
