sight fishing is really nice, do you have many waters close to you with good sight? im struggeling to find em
It can be very rewarding and very frustrating hahaha! Tbh most of the waters nearby are very dirty. I was actually very surprised to see a Redfin in this one most of the time I see carp.
@@SinghFishing oh well nice surprise ;)
Lots of fun champ.
It was a great day haven’t a good session in a while
Nice job brother one of the few fish I've never caught we really should catch up and go fishing we seem to go to all the same spots it's actually strange I haven't seen you
I pretty much fish all throughout southeast Melbourne so it’s only a matter of time until we run into each other haha. Mullet are pretty fun to fish for the smaller ones don’t put up much of a fight but they do get pretty big.
What The Fish!!!
Yoooo Trump!!
Nice
Thanks 🙏🏽
You must be hindu.your nials tells everything about u
Guessing you are saying nails can’t understand your comment. Whether I’m Hindu, Christian or Muslim. Why would it matter? Doesn’t your Quran say that god is one? Doesn’t it say we are all Allah’s children? For someone who has dedicated their channel to God. How do you think you will be judged on the last day? The problem with today’s world is we are too focused on defending our god. The one who is so powerful and benevolent doesn’t need these your protection nor these hateful comments. We all believe in god, we all bleed red, we all are human yet people like you define us not by our humanity but our religion. Next time you see someone of a different race or religion. Treat them with the same respect as you treat your blood. Because in the end that’s what you will judged by.
Have more respect for the fish. You clearly don’t know that much
Just to add, I would say please don't use worms. Our native fish tend to swallow the hook, and they are already under immense pressure
Love ur vids so much keep it up😊
Thank you! 🙏🏽
Bro i have been there before im 12 and im going to be honest, i just saw your channel but i was wondering if u could tell me where ur going next time so i can meet you
Hey Lachlan, I’m not really sure when I’ll be going fishing haha. Most of my trips are super last minute lol. Next month I won’t be able to fish due to religious reasons. But I quite regularly fish Sandringham, Patterson river or Karkarook so maybe one day I’ll run into you.
Thanks for the reply dude! I hope we can meet up someday, my favourite fishing spot is actually at patterson river and i have a little secret spot i can show you aswell 😁
Love the Patterson river I used to fish it when I was little haha. It’ll always have a special place in my heart. I think I fished it atleast 30 times before finally catching anything. 🤣 hope to run into you sometime.
Did you use scrub worms or beach worms.

They are like toothless piranhas hahaha! They are great fun whats cool is that some guys on the boat told me that there was thousands of them under the bridge.
Nice Catches! Shame footage got corrupted but seemed like a good session! Missing the OG carp vids from under the bridge, should do one of them again sometime!
It was a fun session gopro footage does get corrupted time to time unfortunetly :( But luckily I retrieved some of it lol. I really should go back to that spot I havent been there in years but hopefully when the weather gets better it's currently pouring in Melbourne.
@@SinghFishing definetly need to go back shahil and the waterfall up the creek too!
I don't know if that was shit😅Looked like something else...
Whoops carp got excited lol
what river is this
Hi this was at the Dandenong river under the Dandenong bypass
If you look up new life aquarium the Trail starts there at Dandy Creek if you're heading towards Melbourne from Dandenong Station you turn left onto the Trail it's directly behind the aquarium in a little industrial estate on the side of Chandler Road I think
G'day mate I live in Dandenong and I've only just recently started fishing around Dandy Creek which is practically in my backyard if you're up for it we should catch up together and go for a fish sometime
Sorry for the late reply I’m just checking comments and silly me forgot to reply haha! We are super lucky to have a place like dandy creek so close to us. Absolute monster carp in there haha. At the moment I’ve got my hands full with life but im hoping to get back to the old spot maybe I’ll run into you one day.
Have you tried lure fishing there at night? I go past there on the way home from my night shift and have been trying multiple nights for 30 mins without any hits yet, wondering if they just dont go for lures at dark. I could feel the excitement when you were casting into that school. Love that feeling of seeing, casting and getting a hit immediately. Keep it up subbed
Hey Andrea I have fish there at night with lures they sure do bite when the sun goes down. Can’t remember if they have lights there try something with a bit of a vibration or a black plastic that’ll stand out in the light. Also something that glows might also help.
@@SinghFishing thats a good sign. Thanks for the tip!
Is this dandy creek I understand if you don’t wanna tell me I was just gonna ask to see And. What was the other spot on Dandenong Creek? Where are you catching those big carp cheers mate
Hi mate this is Miles creek it’s pretty steep so be very careful I wouldn’t recommend fishing here because of the uneven ground but try under the Dandenong bypass that’s where I catch the big carp :)
@@SinghFishing thanks for the reply

Hi Oliver I can’t share this spot on CZcams because of the neighbours but if you hit me up on instagram I’ll share it my instagram is @singhfishing
i would love to know which beach this is ?
Hi was along the lake Tyers beach area
Hey mate, I’m wondering how you know if you can fish in the area because I have a few ponds in my area and I don’t know if I can fish there. Thx
I’d say if there’s no signs you’ll be allowed to fish there. If it’s says private then you might need permission. In my area there’s very few private ponds most of them are in a park which makes it public. As long as there’s no sign saying no fishing you’re not breaking any rules.
video is coming 10 tonight!
Looking forward to it Sammy!

Looking forward to seeing your first fishing video!
used to go fishing there all the time, managed nearly 20 rainbows one time at dusk a few weeks after it was stocked, they used to go crazy on dusk jumping out of the water for bugs. All on Rapala CD-5's
I used to fish Karkarook all the time when I was in highschool. It was mayhem sometimes hahaha
Support fishing..🐟🎣✔️ Great video..good video for sharing method of fishing fish 🐟🐟🐟
Thank you so much!
Congratulations man on 1k! 🎉
Thank you so much!
Bro how do you know if a carp has it if the line still has slack? 6:42
I should make a video on this one day. It’s hard to see on camera but basically I let out just enough slack line where if a fish takes it. I can see the line move the method works really well if you are finesse fishing or targeting finicky fish. Also I find it easier to see a bite than feel it if that makes sense lol.
@@SinghFishing thanks man good to know, would greatly appreciate if you do make a vid on it 🙏🏽

Cheers bro I just checked it out great job on a snapper and salmon on the recent vid
Um, did you have that trout on a stick and then release it? WTF did I just watch? I am confused.
Yup it's a makeshift stringer you get a thin branch or vine and feed it through the side of the gills make sure you don't go through the red parts. Learn't that trick from an old guy I met while fishing works great.
@@SinghFishing not a fan of this idea.

Thank you so much hahaha one day I’ll do the Robbiefishing intro to make it more convincing! 😂
@@SinghFishing HEY YOU! your watching singhfishing 😆
That's doing it hard for a reddie, lol. But at least it wasn't a donut to go with the cookup 🤣 Good to see you out and about again.
Can’t believe not a single trout was landed hahaha! But I guess it worked out in the end haven’t had Redfin in years so it was a win in my book.
when i saw the thumbnail thought, this was a Robbie fishing video 😅lol i need to try redfin caught a few over 30 but never thought about trying them also good name change keeping it simple👍
Hahaha it’s very rare that I make a trip to Eildon with the mountains and stuff it really does look like Robbie’s videos haha! Redfin tastes beautiful it’s one of my top favourite fish to eat the meat is firm which I like.
Nice meal you cooked up! Sucks you had to drive 2 hours just to catch a small redfin, but hey, better then nothing I guess! I also have a trip planned to go trout fishing with my friends in a couple weeks, hope to catch at least one! Never caught or tried one, Excited too. Great Video!
That’s true haha at least in the end there was a fish to go with the rest of the meal lol. Would’ve gone insane if I didn’t catch anything especially after how many lures I changed that day hahaha! Fishing for trout is super fun are you fishing a lake or going in the rivers? You’ll really enjoy catching them and cooking them up with lemon in my opinion is the best.
@@SinghFishing I probably would've gave up 2 hours in if there were no bites haha. We're going to the Nepean River in Penrith (Sydney). Going to use some inline spinners I bought and some worms. Got to first learn how to use lures, hope I don't get em snagged!
I remember the Nepean River I used to live in Mount Druitt when I was in Grade 5,6 and 7. I think I used to swim somewhere around there lol. I recommend some small 2in grubs or creature baits with 1/16-1/24oz jigheads with a size 4 hook. Spinners are great but you will snag em pretty easily if theres lots of sunken trees.
@@idkhowtofish Bushfish'n'cook fishes the Nepean. Hit his channel for some tips and pointers. Windsor Bait and Tackle also fishes Nepean and Hawkesbury. I used to fish there back when I lived in Lemongrove in about 1997/8. Spinners are relatively easy to use, remember to put a swivel in the line between main and leader or line twist will occur. Just cast and retrieve is really all you need to do. However, you can make it more interesting for the fish and encourage more hits by lifting and dropping the rod tip or moving it from side to side to change the speed and pause the lure which causes it to drop and flutter. I am going to do a vid on spinners in the next couple of days, just been playing with soft plastics and flies on spinning gear the last couple of weeks. Some really solid rainbows, all high 30s to 57 cm. Probably up to 20 in the past fortnight or so. Take a look for some ideas on fishing plastics and flies or I will let you know when I have the celta vid up. I was going to do it yesterday, but hung a celta up in the trees and got the irrits.
@@SinghFishing Thanks for the tip!
Hi!, I'm going to try Aus salmon fishing and is thinking to buy a new rod for this. What rod size do you recommend as I want to fish for Aus salmon but also want to mainly use it for freshwater as I'm far from beaches. I was thinking of a 10ft 5 - 8kg rod a reel combo as it supports lures up to 40g but it maybe be to heavy for freshwater fishing. What do you think the minimum is for saltwater fishing while also using a 40g lure? Or what rod you used with the lure? Thanks
10ft 5-8kg is pretty good. I’d recommend heading to your local tackle shop and see what they have to offer. You could try getting a 8 or 9ft rod in a 4-8 or something. That way it’s not super long and you can still use it for carp, cod and eels.
@@SinghFishing Alright, thanks man. Might just get the 10ft beach specific one. Thanks!
@@SinghFishing Sorry, One more question, how do you locate areas in the beach with salmon? Or do you just cast anywhere. Thanks
@@idkhowtofish You'll have to look for gutters in the beach also called sand bars. Quick way to tell is by looking for the crashing waves. Once the wave crashes and goes into calm water there you will find your deep pocket. Also go early in the morning they're around more. Good luck!
@@SinghFishing Alright, Thank you!
Show some respect for the fish mate. Carp are not invasive anymore they’re there to stay. In Europe they have a lot of respect for these great fish. Australia needs educating.
But they still are an invasive species though. There's not much I can do they are a beautiful fish but at the end of the day the laws are set for a reason. If I was to release them thats up to a $10,000 fine.
@@SinghFishing Do it discreetly. Some laws are nonsensical.
I do agree that killing one or two carp isn’t going to do anything to the population especially if another carp is going to lay another million eggs lol. The law is a bit flawed and the government don’t really care about it but I don’t want to be fined I’m too broke haha
It's is you who needs education, Australia is not like other countries. carp destroys the environment in which native fish need to survive. Carp are invasive period (in AUS). In Australia it is advised not to eat the coomen carp found in urban water areas. This is due to the fact that it can causes health concerns due to pollutants, chrpemicals, and heavy metals they might pick up. Australia invests millions each year in order to get rid of carp in certain waterways. Also instead of wasting carp an Australian company uses them to make fertiliser for gardening. Australia respects all animals but we are smart enough unlike other countries to know that some non native species act negatively to the environment and needs culling or elimination. Rabbits and foxes are other such animals. Again dont mistake Australia for other countries, we have our own special fauna and flaura that need to be taken care of. So please educate yourself before you talk down to us.
@SinghFishing They make great fertiliser for your garden. One of the best fertiliser you cam get
Your channel helped me to start fishing for carp! You even inspired me to start making fishing content (Although not good) is fun to do. Thanks!
Thats amazing to hear I dropped you a sub. Filming is really fun to do my old videos are really bad haha. I just watched your latest carp video you're doing a great job!
@@SinghFishing Thank you! Hope to get to your level of fishing in the future!
@@idkhowtofish Im not even good at fishing I've still got loads to learn hahaha!
Hey mate, what’s that lure you used.
In the starting I was using a strike tiger nymph in the June bug colour but I caught that carp using a savage gear fathead shallow diver. I’m not to sure if they still make them but they are really good.
Dam I miss Melbourne. Used to live in south Melbourne whilst traveling. Nostalgic seeing videos like this ❤ dropped you a sub. Used to love the big yellas in the lake .
Thank you so much for the support! Alberts park lake has some monster yellowbelly thats for sure.
Love the vid mate, whats your setup?
Thank you so much! I use a 8ft 6-12kg rod paired with a 4000 size reel. With 20lb braid and 12-16lb leader. Might be better with a lighter setup with like 15lb braid and stuff but only reason I use a rod so heavy is because the daiwa one I have is super light on the wrists for its rating. I personally find it better than a long surf rod cause I can cast it around all day.
