*Did you know Martha Wayne was wearing fake pearls the night she died?* How do we know this? On a strand of authentic pearls, each individual pearl is "knotted in" where a tight knot is placed after each pearl is threaded on. This is to guarantee if the strand should break then two would be most pearls that would drop off at the breaking point. The process is too labor intensive for fake jewelry so the pearl-like beads are all slipped on the string with nothing to prevent the loss of every "pearl" should the string break. And since a dozen or so "pearls" always beat Martha's dead body in the race to the pavement, those pearls are never the genuine article. It makes one wonder if the shocked look on Martha's face is from being shot or the realization that her billionaire husband is a chintzy bastard. Thank you, Frank Miller.
If this concept of Pearl necklaces is true, then maybe, seeing so many of the pearls fall, the shooter realised it was fake and he was mugging the Waynes for nothing. Hence, he didn’t bother to pick them up as he fled. 🤔

Sweg yo Sweg true plus I don’t know if you noticed at 1:07 as the gun rises up there’s blood dripping from the hole I wonder how they managed to get that pass the censors at the time.
The saddest thing for me is the fact that these crimes are likely to happen in real life. As a Venezuelan, I’ve heard about constant cases of in my country about thieves robbing and killing people which indeed have resulted in orphaned children in some cases. Batman may have an interesting backstory but it’s something nobody wants to live through.
this is awesome and very sad at the sametime. idc how many times this is played or performed. this to me is a very strong reminder and message to anyone who didnt have their parents at a very young age in their lives for some reason or another. its hard life to live without guidence from parents but thats where you start your own legacy
The attempted theft of the pearl necklace goes back to the original comic origin, the mugger even said "I'll take that necklace you're wearin' lady" directly from Detective Comics #33 (1939) "The Legend of Batman and How He Came to Be" written by Bill Finger, art by Bob Kane and Sheldon Moldoff. Reprinted in Batman #1 (1940) "Batman: Who He Is and How He Came to Be." [reprinted in Batman Archives vol. 1 (1990) and Batman Chronicles vol. 1 (2005), etc.]. The Dark Knight Returns (1986) by Frank Miller added the pearl necklace being ripped apart as Martha Wayne's shot with the pearls falling onto the pavement, Michael Keaton's Batman (1989) by Tim Burton adapted that ripped pearls bit and since then it's been done to death.
Martha and Thomas are alive, but Bruce is dead Martha become mad and shes a joker Thomas become batman but more brutal, violent, and badass Just bruce died but this is worse than the parents dying
What if there were other new earths like Martha as batman(batwoman) Or the killer as batman Or the family as batman( if the gun was lost and the killer only stole the pearls) Or a marvel and dc mixed Like Batman as spiderbat(bruce parker lost his parents, a killer shot them in a planecrash! Buce's aunt and uncle took him and years later, bruce went to acecorp, there was a bat and a spider that accedently mixed by mixing ray, it turned into a bat-spider and then got radioactive in it, the spiderbat bit bruce and the batspider escaped. Super-iron degsined a spiderbat suit with robo arms, belt with spiderbat logo on it, spiderbat logo, web cape, spiderbatarang that is web, mask with horns and webs on it and red, blue and grey suit (with some yellow on it too...) It also has web shooters and rocket boots! Bruce's uncle took bruce to a wrestling game! Bruce won and then the killer from the planecrash was alive and killed bruce's uncle! Bruce got to his suit and webbed the killer and robo dino ate the killer! Bruce got a new uncle that is a butler! Bruce was now the frendly neighbourhood dark knight spiderbat! Gotham york isn't the city spiderbat needs, but the city spiderbat deserves, because with a great power comes great responsability! Spiderbat met new villains Jokenom(venom and joker) Cane(bane and carnage) Harnom(she venom and harley quinn) Dinosaur(the lizard and killer crock) Ridle goblin(the ridler and green goblin) Vultrebat(the vultre and manbat) Spikeman(rhino and scorpion) (i know they are from the same universe, but they look cool mixed) Wet Sandclayman(hidroman, sandman and clayface) (i know two of them are from the same universe and there are 3, but i would've gotten "scorpion and rhino are from the same universe" and " why is one with 3 mixed..." comments...) Scaregoblin(hobgoblin and scarecrow) Misterio freeze(misterio and mister. Freeze) Spiderbat and robinpool can team up with the spiderbat-verse(dc's earth's batmen and the spider-verse) ) Many ideas for new batmen...
When he has nightmares tonight, you can be the one to calm him. Now neither of them get To! I swear to avenge the death of my parents That kids got some messed up shit going on His parents died... right in front of him See? Told ya!
+Darcher8 No.. There's literally only two (Justice League: Flashpoint Paradox & The Flash TV Show), so it's kinda pointless unless they do it on The Flash DCU Movie:.
Makes me wonder if Bruce Wayne has PTSD when anything about having his parents death is involved. Pearls flying mid air, watching Zorror by coincidence, moments he can't avoid but to hesitiate and remember briefly.
That's pretty much the whole point of "Batman v Superman". A lot of people don't seem to get that hearing "Martha" gives him a PTSD attack and *that's* why he doesn't kill Superman.
Makes you realize just how similar all these death scenes are. Like the slow-mo shot of the revolver's cylinder spinning. Major kudos to Christopher Nolan for making the death quick, jarring, and relatively realistic--it's much more creative, and therefore impactful, than all the other drawn-out, melodramatic, run-of-the-mill ones.
And yet, each of them brought something different to the table. In Begins, Thomas does what you're "supposed" to do during a mugging, and they still die, which let's Ra's al Ghul manipulate Bruce two decades later. In BvS, both Thomas *and* Martha fight the mugger, and they still die. Seeing those two (practically) back-to-back gives you the impression that Bruce's struggle to control death is even more futile, knowing that some people are going to die whether they fight back or not.
question, which seems more like a memory from childhood - slightly vague as though the edges of the picture were blurry like in 'Batman' (1989) or extremely detailed like in 'Batman Begins' (2004)?
The most intense one was in my opinion from Batman Begins. I actually still hope that nobody gets hurt when I rewatch this scene. Everything is under pressure, and everyone hopes to get away safe. Very hard moment for Bruce, I get never tired of these scenes. This is how we can always experience again what the motives of Batman are.

Big Smoke
Its Phil Swift you uncultered idiot
I can’t believe I saw this here.
This is so morbid and horrible…
Yet I keep watching it.
90%: who's here after joker?
10%: video
Animated series is best cuz of Batman’s reaction rlly shows how physiologically traumatised Bruce is from there deaths.
Sweg yo Sweg true plus I don’t know if you noticed at 1:07 as the gun rises up there’s blood dripping from the hole I wonder how they managed to get that pass the censors at the time.
@@josephvazquez7938 I guess because they made it look like lava. It works with all the fire surrounding the gun.
Wow I guess Maggie and Negan forgot about Glenn s death lol at 7:56
Lol😂😂😂😂😂
Sooo was it called “crime alley” before the Wayne’s murder cause if so, bad call Thomas
Batman’s parents were famous so their death was a shock to Gotham so the people called crime ally after the incident
When people are worrying about uncle ben dying a 4th time
this is awesome and very sad at the sametime. idc how many times this is played or performed. this to me is a very strong reminder and message to anyone who didnt have their parents at a very young age in their lives for some reason or another. its hard life to live without guidence from parents but thats where you start your own legacy
Thank Frank Miller for the pearls.
really? His idea? Damn cool
It's been a prominent part of the Wayne's death scene since Dark Knight.
Okay
Thank him? They're what got them killed!
Me: if I have to see the Waynes die one more time I’m going to kill them myself
Also me: hey let’s watch ten minutes of the Waynes dying
Who's here after the Joker ending?
your dad at the alley
Thomas actually deserve it because he is mean to arthur. But martha is innocent
Uncle ben: i tired of being shoot
Thomas and martha wayne: cute
R. I. P. Martha and Thomas. God with you.😔⛪😔⛪😔⛪
This Reminds Me Of A Story About A Girl Who Lost Her Parents When Watching This Video, It's Called The Fall
vimeo.com/126026712
SpaceStorm Girl dont worry thomas is alive in flashpoint
Martha and Thomas are alive, but Bruce is dead
Martha become mad and shes a joker
Thomas become batman but more brutal, violent, and badass
Just bruce died but this is worse than the parents dying
What if there were other new earths like
Martha as batman(batwoman)
Or the killer as batman
Or the family as batman( if the gun was lost and the killer only stole the pearls)
Or a marvel and dc mixed
Like
Batman as spiderbat(bruce parker lost his parents, a killer shot them in a planecrash!
Buce's aunt and uncle took him and years later, bruce went to acecorp, there was a bat and a spider that accedently mixed by mixing ray, it turned into a bat-spider and then got radioactive in it, the spiderbat bit bruce and the batspider escaped. Super-iron degsined a spiderbat suit with robo arms, belt with spiderbat logo on it, spiderbat logo, web cape, spiderbatarang that is web, mask with horns and webs on it and red, blue and grey suit (with some yellow on it too...)
It also has web shooters and rocket boots!
Spiderbat met new villains
Jokenom(venom and joker)
Cane(bane and carnage)
Harnom(she venom and harley quinn)
Dinosaur(the lizard and killer crock)
Ridle goblin(the ridler and green goblin)
Vultrebat(the vultre and manbat)
Spikeman(rhino and scorpion)
(i know they are from the same universe, but they look cool mixed)
Wet Sandclayman(hidroman, sandman and clayface)
(i know two of them are from the same universe and there are 3, but i would've gotten "scorpion and rhino are from the same universe" and " why is one with 3 mixed..." comments...)
Scaregoblin(hobgoblin and scarecrow)
Misterio freeze(misterio and mister. Freeze)
Spiderbat and robinpool can team up with the spiderbat-verse(dc's earth's batmen and the spider-verse)
)
Many ideas for new batmen...
Sydney Hamilton STOP SHOWING THIS!!!
Evolution of Uncle Ben’s death or Peter getting bit
When he has nightmares tonight, you can be the one to calm him.
Now neither of them get To!
I swear to avenge the death of my parents
That kids got some messed up shit going on
His parents died... right in front of him
See? Told ya!
Lil Snikrz I literally almost fell out of bed reading this. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
4:37
Alfred just awkwardly looking at him while Bruce is praying for his parents
BvS murder scene was the best.
Yes. That scene was perfection.
only for live action tho.
It's very Snydery
That was great. Next you must make the "Evolution of Death of Uncle Ben in All Media."
Do an e evaluation of Nora Allen's death if there is one
+Darcher8
No.. There's literally only two (Justice League: Flashpoint Paradox & The Flash TV Show), so it's kinda pointless unless they do it on The Flash DCU Movie:.
Now we need an evolution of Uncle Ben's death.
Homecoming: *Footage not found*
No body cares about Uncle ben.
@@mynameis634 i can give no shits about batmans parents either
@@anarkhiya551 sure, you know what, i won't be offended. You over sensitive ass.
Whatever i say It hurts how do you know that no body cares about uncle Ben?
Maybe no body cares about batman's parents neither
Makes me wonder if Bruce Wayne has PTSD when anything about having his parents death is involved. Pearls flying mid air, watching Zorror by coincidence, moments he can't avoid but to hesitiate and remember briefly.
That's pretty much the whole point of "Batman v Superman". A lot of people don't seem to get that hearing "Martha" gives him a PTSD attack and *that's* why he doesn't kill Superman.
ThePapermage lol okay
Yeah he has PTSD but that doesn’t stop it from being a plot point that thinks it’s deeper than it actually is
According to the 1989 one he has ptsd
Uncle Ben: God! I have died so many times.
Thomas and Martha: Hold our bullets.
The couple have been dying for 80 years!!!!
+Ashanark Totally. I always thought Thomas and Martha's deaths in BB were a lot more impactful.
@@PaperbackWizard Good points.
@@Gabreya Thank you. There's always more to what we see. And it's why I'll never get tired of seeing new iterations of this scene.
question, which seems more like a memory from childhood - slightly vague as though the edges of the picture were blurry like in 'Batman' (1989) or extremely detailed like in 'Batman Begins' (2004)?
While not the most interesting visually I always really liked how Batman Begins correlated their death to Bats, and Bruce feeling responsible.
Uncle Ben: I've got the most death scenes
Martha and Thomas Wayne: Hold our son
I swear the pearls breaking is almost essential for every death
Rest in peace, Thomas and Martha Wayne.
7:56 my John Winchester and Bela Talbot otp.
For me this isnt negan and Maggie, it's John and Bela.
Lol I was searching for this comment 😂
Batman: Has another movie made
Studio Executives to the Wayne’s: *You know the rules, and so do I*
WHO CAME HERE AFTER SEEING JOKER???
Jeff Openings me
Jeff Openings in movie Joker killed batman 's Father and mother
your mama
*Me and the boys getting this recommended to us after Joker*
If spider-man getting a reboot :
Uncle Ben : **sweating**
Bruce's parents : first time?
I think my favorite one has to be from Brave and the Bold. It’s got the right amount of iconic imagery and the actors chosen were fantastic
Before batman vs superman I didn't know batman's mother name was martha
MARTHA!!!!!!
One of the most powerful moments in comic book movie history.
Not this again!
What a Powerful and intense scene.
I feel like we've had to relive the Wayne murders more times than Bruce does in his head
I’ve seen the version of this in LEGO and has definitely depicted the story beautifully filmed and it would suit a live action Batman film
21 times. Holy shit. Uncle Ben has only died 10 times.
Batman gets a reboot
Bruce's parents: *Ah shit here he go again*
Whos here after watching joker
I also like the Brave & the Bold one, because Thomas is voiced by Adam West.
Please make Plastic man, Booster Gold, Nora Allen or Iris West-Allen evolutions in TV, movies and cartoons.
NOOOOO NEGAN
and maggie too
Negan AND Maggie.
7:49 The Best ever making of the scene!!!!
the moral of the story is have a gun or bodyguards or both
Nah. The moral of this story is don't live in a gun nut country like the united states.
Dosen't every country have some sort of arm
Actually the moral of the story is to not wear pearls.
They've got to add a new one now that Joker came out.
What up Brian Griffin I haven’t seen you since family Guy
