Wow. That was... intense. Breitbart got worked over tonight, and rightly so. I particularly appreciated Izzard's calling attention to his attempt to deflect the death threat issue. "Muddy the waters," were Izzard's words, and aptly so. Rather than acknowledge the criticism he defensively responded with a "whataboutism," shifting the dynamic of the conversation to try and claim victim status and thus deflate the severity of the original comment. Very insightful and caught as soon as it happened. Well done, Mr. Izzard.

What's funny is that earlier Malcolm Nance was bragging about his cashe of arms & tooting his own horn about him being a former NSA Anti-terroist bad ass yet is scared of a few online threats? I'd say if He was half as bad as he claims to be wouldn't have taken much to have some of his friends at the NSA do Intel & work from there. Only We how this one played out, playing victim while claims of being bad ass on TV.

What educated me was how the calm person in the interview with Bill from Breitbart turned into something completely different during overtime. If I was the editor of Breitbart I would have immediately apologised for him receiving death threats and asked that we talk after the show about the story and its consequences.

This is Malcolm Nance profile on Twitter.
"US Intelligence +35 yrs. Expert AQ/ISIL/Jihadi Strategy, Tactics, Ideology. Torture, Russian Cyber! | NYT Bestselling Author, Navy Senior Chief. NBC/MSNBC."
This is the title of his latest book:
The Plot to Hack America: How Putin’s Cyberspies and WikiLeaks Tried to Steal the 2016 Election
Breitbart guy gets paid to defend Breidbart and deflect.
We already know what the entertainment industry is like so it's not that hard to figure out what position the comics will take.
I don't know anything about Ian but he seemed resonable to me. Probably because I agree about not starting shit for no reason.

In that regard, it has been very successful, sadly.

On the same day a major Associated Press poll has come out saying Trump has 64 percent DISapproval rating, and the overall poll aggregate has him approaching 60 percent DISapproval, Marlow goes and cherry picks a 50/50 outlier from Rasmussen's daily tracking, which even Rasmussen will tell you has a huge margin of error, and makes no sense to look at in isolation outside of the days prior (which takes about 5 seconds to do on their website). There is no possible way in which what Marlow is doing is not 1. Deliberately dishonest and misleading, or 2. Massively ignorant of the subject matter.
And this is the story overall right now with the right wing in this country. There is simply no explanation for so many actions other than stupid, or corrupt. And neither is acceptable.

Fake news is like a buzz word for Republicans now. If you don't like something, just call it fake news. Real fake news is crap that people put out there knowing it's not true in order to get a certain response from it. There's inaccurate reporting which unfortunately happens and most news outlets will apologize if they see they've done that, but something like Hillary is running a child sex ring out of a pizza shop is obviously fake news. You can't just say something is fake because you don't agree with it. I think Fox New is complete shit, but I can't call it fake news. It's just a different opinion.
