    The tip on keeping the chain from twisting is brilliant. I nearly gave up on the first row because of the yarn and the difficulty seeing and counting the skipped stitches. I’m now several rows in and am glad I stuck with it. Thanks for the beautiful pattern.

    so pretty!! would this work with a light size 3 yarn? does anyone have suggestions for how to adapt it?

    • @nanascraftyhome
      @nanascraftyhome  Před 2 lety +1

      You could absolutely try this with a lighter weight yarn. At the beginning you just want to make sure that the hole will go over your head. I might even recommend trying the pattern instructions for the larger size and see how that goes. I hope that helps! 🌸😊

    would this work with lION BRAND HOMESPUN WHICH IS A 5. tHEN WHAT SIZE HOOK WOULD YOU USE?

    • @nanascraftyhome
      @nanascraftyhome  Před rokem

      So glad you like this poncho! You could certainly try it with a bulky weight yarn - I haven't tried it myself. Homespun recommends a size K (6.5 mm) hook but I would try it with a hook at least 2 times larger - maybe even a size 9 mm in order to give it a little more drape. Try a few rows and see how you like it. Let me know how it goes! 🌸💕

    • @BeYou4You
      @BeYou4You Před 5 lety +1

      Nereyda Holland I think it seemed fast because the yarn was flowing between her stitch work but she did it a thousand times to make sure we got it! It was paced just perfect considering the time she put into this tutorial.
