@@ankitpanchal4167 Well I also started out the same as you sir, i didn't understand gita at first. So rather than approaching a book , I first attended a 3-4 day bhagwat gita basic course recommend by a close friend of mine in ISKCON Temple which covered everything. It was given by HG Rupa Bilasa Das prabhuji , you can type in youtube you will get it also that will help you at first. He is an amazing speaker and he was the one who got me into Bhagwat Gita so you can check his lectures out
Currently I'm attending his youtube live lectures which he is giving at the moment due to lockdown. So his channel name is 'Gitopadesh' and he gives it everyday at 12 30pm for bhagavat gita.So you can check it out and be blessed .
For that sake, you can check out any other bhagwat gita lectures given by preachers of ISKCON for that matter just like Gaur gopal das prabhuji of whose I'm a huge fan of. Hopefully this helps you out sir , Gita is just totally a different thing you will experience and I hope it helps you advance in your personal journey

@Alok Mallik I'm dalit too and I don't hate Hinduism because one aspect of it is bad. Caste was made just to label the different classes of people, it was later that brahmins took benefit out of it and declared lower caste as untouchables. Leave this, the most important thing that Hinduism teaches is that if some rule is applied today and after some years it seems that we we don't need it, then we should discard it. Our religion isn't rigid, it is progressive as society progresses. Don't even try to give me an example that bro but "this thing happens now also". That happens because people are ignorant. No one is ready to clean their beliefs and read books. So get your knowledge straight and don't throw your hate blindly. Even if you are a muslim pretending to be dalit('Malik' is a muslim surname too) then understand that making fun of other religions won't do you any good. Ultimately there is only one God that we have to meet and I'm sure he won't be happy to see you making fun of other religions/people.

The Baghvadgita has changed me completely.
Everytime you read Geetha, you understand it differently.
One may reach at some stage with great effort and the grace of Krishna where One will understand what actually the Krishna was conveyed
Touch that core aspect of the Baghvadgita.
You will one day experience the true essence in the Journey of the Baghvadgita.

@Franz Berger When you watch a film and let's assume it became your favorite and you are watching many times, But still your friends may not understand what made you to watch over and over again.
Here an audion sees the move in an entertainment way, but where as the person who want to get into films, his way of seeing the movie will be different.
One will reach that point of understanding the movie in the Director's perspective. What he was actually wanted to convey. We just connect just like that.
In the similar way if you read Geetha over and over again, The True essence will be experienced, It will come like a spark.

Have you noticed this guy who is monk, follows krishna and bhagwat gita but never ever mentions about about any slokas in gita, talks about krsna , mahabharata or Santana dharma. A isckon devotee is supposed to disseminate teachings of bhagwat gita or krsna, not indulge in hotch potch motivational lectures which completely deviates from teachings of krsna and bhagwat gita. He uses this tilak monk clothes to gain followings but in fact he is rather ashamed or hidden agenda. I have no problems with his style of motivation discourses...there are many out there... but he betters change his attire if he is really not going to teach about krsna and his philosophy. He is imposter. He is supposed establish dharma, liberation mukti karma yoga etc...not in some western shallow motivation "start your day with positivity shit". Krsna talks about knowing soul which is ultimate reality / mulkti / getting out of this worldly illusion not " how to wake up at 5am " or " how to talk to someone ".
