    Thank you very much Kru, its great to have someone teach this stuff in a calm place! It clicks in your head a little differently then when in the dojo. Thanks for all the hard work! Please, more on the clinch if you find you have the time! :P

    I've never feinted a knee while clinching, but it seems like such an obvious strategy after this video. Thanks for posting.

    Do tou have any tips to enter a clinch if youre oponent is agresive?

    • @JayKurtLaroa03
      @JayKurtLaroa03 Před 4 lety +2

      from my experience, you really gotta be sharp with countering their shots in the range and use their forward momentum to enter the clinch. wear them out physically by attacking their body, legs as this will destroy their will progressively and you'll be able to enter the clinch easier. typically what i find is that aggressive fights are in broad stance and have their front leg exposed a lot, i use that to my advantage by attacking the front leg with leg kicks and keeping my distance making my opponent think i dont want to be in close range. using this reverse psychology trick will give them a false sense of illusion that you suck at the click, but really you're just wearing them out before you move in for the kill. I hope this helped you, my friend :)

    What is the best way to get the over and under clinch as far as entry?

    How we get out of the clinch? Do we have to sweep him to ground?

    • @pufferfish8714
      @pufferfish8714 Před 3 lety

      Bit late but push them towards ropes and use the bouncing momentum to sweep
      If you’re weaker then them then to walk backwards and trip them while they gain momentum

    What if you try to clench and they don’t clench back?

  • @Stopstalkingmenarokkurai

    I agree with everything he says however. he doesn't know how to clinch using the clinch pressure point.
    so many trainers are clueless of it. a 16 year old thai taught me. if you use it. strength will be null in void. meaning small guys can out muscle big guys

      @Stopstalkingmenarokkurai Před rokem

      @@skekedon6645 dig your elbows into there chest. Grab the top of the head at the back not the neck.
      I had Thai kids own me in the clinch with minimal effort due to this Step back. No matter how strong they are. They won't have the strength to remain upright.

  • @babo85

    Would you try this in a streetfight? I'm not trying to be a dick, but what's keeping someone from kneeing you right in the nuts? I love the technique where you explain to relax so you can anticipate his moves better. Never thought of it that way.

    • @KMAAcademy2020
      @KMAAcademy2020 Před 6 lety +3

      babo85 if I clinch you and you don’t know what you’re doing to defend it, I’m gonna just pull your head down and knee you in the face...sounds simple but believe the Muay Thai clinch is deadly
