Hi,
I am Jamila Musayeva, an international social etiquette consultant and the author of the books “Etiquette: the least you need to know” and “Afternoon Tea Etiquette.” If you wish to order the books, email info@jamilamusayeva.com or my website: jamilamusayeva...
In this video, my dear friend Leila, who runs her own blog (@alwayshungrybaku) and the pioneer podcaster in Azerbaijan (Podcast: alwaysinspiredbaku) asks me most frequently asked questions on my CZcams and Instagram.
We are talking about my motherhood journey and my greatest fears; what success means to me and of course, my husband (most googled search).
Thank you, Leila, for always inspiring me and being my first podcast interviewer. Back then, I could not have even imagined that fast forward few years and we will be doing it again together but only this time on my channel.
Sincerely,
Jamila Musayeva

I absolutely love that you're so private about your husband and family life. There's far too great an expectation for public figures to share every single tidbit about their lives with everyone. Let's normalize privacy once again!
Absolutely!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Gracias Gracias perdona losinto mucho no sabes que casada perdona losinto mucho 😢
*Your way of looking at motherhood is so beautiful.* Seeing motherhood as the way to make this world a better place shaping individuals that can bring a massive positive shift in the world 💜
Thank you so much!
Your speech about anxiety reminds me of a swan: graceful, calm and collected on the outside, but underneath the water the swan's legs are kicking like crazy! Thanks Jamila as well as your friend, Ms Leila for this wonderful interview. ♥
Such an interesting resemblance. Thank you for saying this.
I think it is the BEST thing not to date in school. People think that limits a person but I think it is a big distractor. Also being popular in school( early on or college) sets in narcissistic tendencies. Good to hear :)
I do not think it is bad or good. Neither is. It is what is important for you at the time. Society deems not dating uncool, which is a stereotype amongst younger people that needs to be broken.
Leila is such a great interviewer.Great session and don't ever close your channel Jamila it is of immense value to so many of us.
Thank you! She truly is!
I'm sitting here racking my brain trying to imagine who could possibly send you hateful messages. Please, please, ignore them. Some people are just absolutely miserable - so remind yourself that their bitterness has NOTHING to do with you and everything to do with their own insecurities. You are a blessing to so many!
This was such a great video! I genuinely enjoy hearing people from other cultures share their opinions and thoughts about life in general; this is why your channel feels fresh, so lovely, and different. Everything, from your content, the way you present, and the whole vibe of your videos. Keep up the great work! also Leila is a great interviewer, she elaborates very nicely and adds to the questions🙂
Thank you very much 🙏🏻
The best thing we can do for ourselves is to stop and listen carefully, meditate and learn from those who have expertise. Congratulations!
🙏🏻
I'm so happy you are doing more Q&As, i love learning more about you and your experiences! And, i dont now if it's rude to comment about your friend, but she's such a cute person! You could see in her eyes how she was cheering for you to answer the more diffcult questions!
thank you!
Thank you!
u got me the first few seconds .... i was like - "WTF, how did she manage to change her looks".. i'm sure with Jamila's discipline she can change anything, even her looks
:) That's sweet of you!
When you mentioned that you had to have an emergency c section, it really resonated with me because I had to have one last year with my first born. It is so true that when you plan for something and then it takes a different direction it feels overwhelming. I had postpartum depression because of this as well. Thanks to God it didn’t last long 🙏🏽
I am glad to hear you also recovered quickly 🙏🏻

This is one of the channels that gave me the courage to start my CZcams channel 7 months ago about self development. Now I have 624 subs and > 100 hours of watch time. I know it’s not comparable with others but I’m still proud I started because I’ve been learning so many lessons that I could haven’t learned without getting started in the 1st place.
Its so nice to know you a bit more! I was the same sister, never dated in school but I love how you put it, "You can be a star in your adult life"
✨☺️
I just started to view your channel. You are an exquisite human
being. Please continue your channel, your books. I find you refreshing in these times. You are joy! I have learned so much viewing your channel. I love your pride about your country: Wishing much success & blessings,❤
Well thought interview! Rather than entertaining, your presented all your answers naturally, both inspiring and has deep insights of motherhood and daily real life without disclosing your personal life. Again, thanks for making this video, look forward to seeing the second part of the interview.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you!
I feel that I could speak and listen to Jamila for years! I really admire you and your work and profesionalism! Greetings from Romania! ❤
Wow, thank you!
You are welcome! 😇
her voice is like honey!
Thank you 😊
This was honestly such a positive video, it inspired me to surround myself with positive and growth-minded people like them 😊
Thank you!
YOU WOULDN'T BELIEVE THIS JAMILA. But I'm exactly like you. My past life, my value system, integrity, studious, no unnecessary relationships, thoughts about where this modern world is going to, and what not. That's why I'm so addicted to your channel.
Always love Q& A sessions in your channel
🙏🏻
We need a part 2!!!!! It was amazing so entertaining and educational. Thank you Leila ( I guess i spell it correct) for asking those amazing questions and Jamila you answered them so well.
Love you ladies.
Thank you ☺️ noted!
I think the intro and inclusion of bloopers as the outro was a very nice touch. Even cuter was the fact that both you and Leila were wearing similar outfits, down to the nail color! Was that planned?
The nail polish was not planned. The outfit was coordinated in advance :)
This interview was so inspiring and encouraging! Thank you for sharing a part of your heart and some special tidbits about yourself. I appreciate the positive point of view of all your videos. ☺️
Thank you ☺️🙏🏻
So cool team! I searched their Instagram profiles and found out that they are the most talented people I have ever seen!!!!
Thank you!
I think people who make others feel guilty because of not going through struggle as a mother are insecure (objectively speaking). I've never seen this as an issue to not be able to breastfeed. Sure, there are pros and cons, but I never felt any less as a mother. It never even crossed my mind. Watching this opened my eyes to how hard mothers can be on themselves.
I guess a lot depends on the culture you are in or people you are surrounded with.
You are an inspiration for many of us! Stay strong Jamila! We love you!
Thank you, dear!
personally i love your tip, id apply it to my intrusive thougts to just accept let it pass and move on this has resulted in less intrusive thooughts now thank you. i always write like multiple comments everywhere just cuz i have so many thoughts
I love the interview. I toke some time to see it because I really wanted to sit down and pay attention. You are always a source of inspiration, and I love learning from your perspective. Besides that and the positive aura I also believe that your work in this area is particularly important because of the stereotypes of that so round this area. For middle class people (like myself) is surprising that Etiquete can be a welcoming space. I seek for someone like you for a friend that needed the instruction because of a change in her environment, I found you and finally I also fell "in love" with your instruction and personally. Thanks again.
i love your vibes, sometimes I play your vids in the background while im just cleaning or doing homework.
I appreciate it 🙏🏻☺️
Hi Jamila, thank you for all your work here on youtube. Its valuable and inspiring! Privacy, in modern day is like a precious stone: rare. I don't like to post anything private on public/online spaces. Glad to know i'm not the only one!!
The interview was definitely helpful and insightful :) I also felt like telling someone that the way they felt or the feelings they had about their personal journey, is wrong, bothered me. Jamila felt the way she for her own reasons. To say that her emotions are wrong, or to point out that her feelings shouldn't be, was concerning. There are other ways to process emotions but to say that certain emotions are wrong, multiple times, is simply not fair
Thank you 🙏🏻
Good evening. I really love your videos and thank you for doing hard work to make us more educated about life, health and other things which are so helpful.
Thank you! I appreciate your kind feedback.
You said your covering up your anxiety and its very difficult and you use avoidance as coping. I'm saying this out of care: I watched some of your videos not because I care about etiquette, but because I'm really interested in how coping mechanisms to mental illness shape people's lives. You are not hiding your anxiety, even through the videos that you prepare you seem quite anxious. I wish for you to find ways to feel even more comfortable in your life than you are already. I would wish you success too, but you have that :-). I personally had a lot of success with therapy!
I also had that trouble with my emotions, and it was due to the restriction of FEELING them like crying, writing it down, hitting a pillow lol, anything that expresses it because talking about things instead of feeling isn't coping its avoidant and just feels heavier as time passes. I do understand feeling these emotions in private or however you feel comfortable
I love your content, you are truly inspiration for me. Your videos help me, especially on a rainy day to pull myself together.
I am so happy to hear that! Thank you!
you two look like sisters! two classy ladies😌
thank you!
Very inspirational thoughts and words in this video. I hope that by the time, you won't get into "social media fame". I mean to keep posting educational stuff, not presenting glasses or clothes; what's in your bag and so on; because if you think about what social media intended to be and what is currently now, you're contributing to it in multiple ways, and see for example currently we're having tiktok. You're very good at teaching people. I really love most of your work, find it very beautiful and I'm happy to see that is waking people up in a certain way, I hope you find this as an constructive feedback.
I do not see anything bad in those who show their clothes or style. Inspiration can be drawn from everywhere as long as it is done with decency and good taste.
12:28 I am an anxious person but you can never tell.
I can relate to this. I was having a conversation with someone and she said that I'm like a swan 🦢
It may seem that I'm just effortlessly floating, but no one can see how hard I'm working with my little legs 😉
İt hit me from home. I'm a calm and quiet person and throughout my teenage years I had severe depression and everyone assumed how positive and as you said "swan" I am. Funny enough I studied psychology at university;)

Elegance and Eloquent
Thank you!
When she asked the first question (3 words that describe you ) the add of Tarkan with that song appeared on my screen saying: şelale saçlar, hilal kaşlar, süzme bal dudaklar. What a nice coincidence! 😂❤
Question: what is the difference between your career as a teacher and a corporate job? What do you mean when you said you never worked corporate? What level of experience were you referring to?
Three descriptors for Jamila: authentic, calculating, curious.
Thank you 🙏🏻
@@JamilaMusayeva I hope your man appreciates you fully. You are a treasure.

Jamila I absolutely love your youtube channel. I have learned so much with your videos and joined the patreon club because you provide immense value! You are an inspiration to me! I also really appreciate how you are able to keep your partner and personal life private, not everyone wants to be online and I totally support that. I love to hear your perspective on these topics such as being a successful woman, being a mother and also about your anxiety! I can relate to that.
I love this video Jamila, thank you for your sincere responses ❤️
Thank you!
Çox səmimi bir video idi. Saatlarla olsa belə izləyərdim. Hamımız nələrləsə mübarizə aparırıq və bunu gizlətmədən, olduğu kimi danışmağınızı çox bəyəndim. Və, YOU ARE MY FAVORITE CZcamsR ON THE ENTIRE PLATFORM!
Definitely looking for part 2
Hey Jamila...it would be very helpful if you do a video on how to write books become an author...steps involved how to publish a book and everything 😊

Tysm for making it to 38’ this video blew my mind.
To whoever is reading this know that you are loved. You are important and God has a purpose for your life. So many people lost their lives to COVID but God spared us. It’s time to change how we show up in the world. Walk in your calling! How many signs do you need? You are Chosen!

Hello Jamila, I was wondering, is there any etiquette advice on the more mundane parts of everyday life, such as housework or life with loved ones when there is tension or something... I dont know, if this could make for an interesting topic...
great start
Thank you!
Here's an idea. Ask the other person what they plan on wearing.
mm intresting i could kinda tell since i have OCD and that feeling of contoling the idea of what you decided in your head is hard to give up.
I dont think 24 is young to procreate due to current modern day western culture, more than that its due to the fact that the prefrontal cortex typically is NOT developed until 25 years old........yea my parents had me before their 20s and I truly believe its best to wait. the people they are today is a whole new person i mean you learn so much. this is just my personal opinion i don't think people should change but rather keep in mind that the prefrontal cortex is in charge of decision making, commitments etc....its just science.
The first time in life i felt mature was no earlier than at 28.
Part 2 please.❤
Will do ☺️
In my country Bosnia, the most popular name for girls is Lejla with J.
Jamila I really love your videos so so much you are my favourite youtuber you inspired me so so much and I wish you reach 700K Subscribers very very soon!♥️🙈😍💕🌸💫✨
Thank you very much!
oh gosh im socially anxious and have anticipatory anxiety which is like the worst kind of overthinking...thik ill pass on having children especially in this day and age its wild rn
Thanks for sharing an interesting part of you… by the way! We have the same phobias!🤭
Awesome♥️♥️...loved it💫❣
Thank you ☺️
I am also a nerdy student but i am quite popular in my college.
What class did you teach in a university? You are so inspiring Jamila!!
I taught etiquette and business.
Enjoyed it . I am very curious to know about your love story , it's fine if you don't even reveal his name or details . Hope one day you will be able to share the full story
I would like to keep it private. This channel is about etiquette, self development and soft skills. I do not think my personal love story should be important in this context.
Excellent
I'm early!
Yay!
Really good!👍🏽
Thanks
Nice one
Very nice interview, thank you :)
Thank you!
Hi i just wanted to say ur so pretty🥰🥰
Thank you !
Hahahahaha the beginning 🤣🤣🤣
I love you ❤️
Thank you!
May you please do a how you keep your instagram feed
I am not a professional in this. I do what suits my soul so there is no real strategy in my posts.
hello jamila, i see your videos and like it so much! is a good guide on etiquette. there is one question that i would love to touch upon what to share and not share with friends, relatives in general such as bank account, personal, your plans etc. also how to handle those people who try to use you want to do everything you have done or learnt to their advantage to make it look as if it was their own hobbies, interest or music.they show off make people run and follow them give importance to him or her.boasting. unless until one wants to share, want them to inculcate or encourage ot i have a close cousin who has been doing this right from piano, music, now aqua areobic. how to handle this.pls do give insight to this.thanks
Would you make audiobooks of your 2 books?
I think my books are best read when guided with visual images.
lol that analogy, but they arent external people they are internal feelings
Is there any course available on etiquettes . If there is any pls provide the details
Yes. I do private workshops. Please email info@jamilamusayeva.com

I don't think that we create life as women.. God creates life.. a lot of women cannot conceive .. It doesn't mean they are less capable ..
True! I agree with this ☝️ however we definitely should be giving ourselves more credit for being able to bring that life into the world.
Hey Savida! I was referring specifically to those women who already gave birth or are about to become mothers and are judging themselves too hard. It’s important to understand what their bodies are going through and that the way they give birth does not determine them as good or bad mothers or less of a woman.
Sorry can barely hear you during conversation.
