    If you see how they argue, their whole thing is to misinterpret whatever you just said. Not many people are willing to debate such insufferable people

    So....are we acting as though Nicki Minaj is a "role model" in the black community? That would be akin to saying Sam Smith is a role model for white men....But yes, lets act as though we dont have black r&b artisit such as Jasmine Sullivan and black people and culture is a monolith. Stop it. This is weak.

    The songs are not the problem is that lack of promotion for every other type of song that isnt sexualized

  • @spiceyboogerspiceybooger6437

    This is weird why does he assume there was wasn't songs like this in the 40s and 50'. Also why does he even care about who black people role models are?

      Thank you. As a Black person, many Whites don't. It's bull crap. A political stunt and it only creates more racism than it does to fix anything. This talking point has been around for decades now and these same Whites who said this with Political power did nothing. All talk 🦜

    This is where conservative talking Points go to die. Many Country songs, Heavy metal have horrible lyrics. To say the music is the problem and not the environments we live in is an understatement. My zip code determines the resources my school 🏫🎒 will have. If, your in a upper middle class your already prepared for colllege prep, and able to have tutor resources. Poor people and those who just don't have the knowledge are always going to be behind. Also, music back then was bad as well. Whats the excuse?

    Its easier to deny reality than accept it and make changes for the better. World history and human nature has proved that. I dont see the point in arguing anymore

    What pisses me off is back in the 90s Al Gore had a agenda to take away lyrics from Hard Rock music in the lyrics from that era to this era would make anyone blush

    The most important thing to take from this, "Where do you get your art from?" Look at those you are influenced by.

    He's very wrong about songs from the 40's and earlier. There are many songs by black singers and songwriters were very EXPLICIT. He is very wrong.

      Played on mainstream radio?

    • @Karibee61
      @Karibee61 Před 16 dny +1

      @isaan01 NOT played on Mainstream radio because the singers/ writers and musicians were black. If you have a browse on CZcams, you will find many explicit productions. Even if you go back to Etta James, you will find her singing about very sexual stuff. I will try and have a look.
      Update. Just put in browser explicit songs from 1910's, 1930's and so on. They will all come up.
      What we have to remember is that having the Internet and rolling news means that EVERYTHING is shoved in our faces and easily accessible today.
      Sex wasn't invented in the twentieth century . Even nursery rhymes , poetry, and art have been explicit in history. If you read religious books, you will find many things about sex the Quoran. It is pretty disgusting.
      Much love and peace from London UK.
