Usually what is always shown is the end product & so you often forget about how much work, time & fails which go into certain skills and anything else
So I did another progress video to show just that, we all have to start from somewhere
I gave my self the goal to put together an aerial hoop routine in 21 days.
( I have had one aerial hoop lesson in the Philippines & have done a term of Lyra with Aerial Artists Adelaide in 2019 previously)
95% of the moves in this video were newly learned from simply watching instagram and youtube videos
Thank you to Kirrily Snape for filming the ending!!

The Black and White by The Band CAMINO
& Orphée aux Enfers (Orpheus in The Underworld) , Act II Galop
As someone who does Ariel, I can’t believe you were able to get that down and only 21 days it took me a long while until I was able to master some of those moves. you’re doing great!
czcams.com/video/RU51Z6IV3-4/video.html here is part 2! where I had a little longer to learn
Found myself literally yelling encouragements at my screen
Asantai Meep aHaha aw Thankyou!! It was a fun journey
There was this one time where me and my circus fam had to put together a show, find music, choreograph and do makeup for a show that night in two hours. It was fun but sooooo stressful
Wow that’s amazing! You guys must be crazy good
This is exactly what I needed to find!so inspiring!! I have only been able to take 2 lyra classes since quarantine, and they totally kicked my butt. I want to buy my own so I can practice daily. I love your dedication, heres to you!!
Taylor Porter hey Thankyou so much! Yep it definitely does, what I did before getting my rig was a lot of my own conditioning! So when you get back to train on Lyra you will have the strength and flexibility to try new stuff easily 💕
That’s was incredible! You must have been so fearless to try those moves! I’m too scared to try them on my own 😂
Ahahha there were a number of moves I wanted to try but was too scared to 😂
Brenda Elizabeth you did amazing to do the ones you did, it really inspired me to practice hoop more! X
Ow, I’m dizzy. Omg. Ow, it hurts. RELATABLE! Haha. This is absolutely stunning! My heart skipped a beat when you fell. I cannot get over this progress. Absolutely inspiring! I have hoop class in two hours and I’m SO glad I found this video to remind me not to give up and the bruises are worth it haha :) I lowkey possibly maybe not really but absolutely cried a bit during your routine. Because breathtaking.
Aww this comment was so nice 🥺🥺 I am so glad! Just wanna show people that it’s normal to go through these struggles went learning something! Good luck on your journey girl ❤️❤️
This was so inspiring and motivational! Is that a special frame for the Lyra? I would love to try it out for myself but I have no place to hang the hoop from :-/
Thankyou!! Yes it is a special aerial rig, you can hang any apparatuses up!
You can hang hoops up from Jetty’s or bridges? Just make sure you’ve rigged safety ☺️
@@brendaaelizabeth what aerial rig did/do use?
I love your transition from 3:36-3:40. Amazing work. I hope you continue, you have so much talent to share!
Thankyou so much! Comments like this mean so much 🥰
I wasn’t expecting that routine. Such unique entrances and exits my brain would not have put together especially just learning.
I was so proud of you … I actually cried. Beautiful.
It was emotional! I am crying rn!
I was looking up videos cause I would like to get into aerial hooping in my yard. What a gem! You did sooooooooooo good! You are such an inspiration and motivation! Keep doing you. Much love! 🤍
Imagine being her neighbor and just walking outside and seeing this. It would be interesting, amazing, and confusing all at once. This was so amazing I’ve been interested in starting aerial silks (so similar in a way to aerial hoops) and this has really been an inspiration. Keep up the good work.
Thank you so much, I had so much fun and laughter watching your progression, Lived it and great job and I"m up next.
I took my first hoop class today and sounded just like you! Ow ouch owww. Relatable. I’m so impressed how much you achieved in 21 days!
I just tried the aerial hoop for the first time yesterday and I woke up sore all over with bruises under my knees. I laughed at the first half of your video (I quote: "Ow ow ow o wo wo w o wo wo wow ow "), became invested, and actually teared up when I saw your full routine at the end. You're seriously impressive and I'm so proud of you for what you accomplished and how good you made it look in such a short period of time! Thanks for putting this together and sharing! It's very inspiring! (Also, sidenote: my aunt had brain surgery because there was something wrong with her emotions. Not that you need it, but that IS a thing. 😂)
I love how you include the fails at the beginning, made me laugh! Gosh I love you! Miss ya!
Queen! That was beautiful. I'm so inspired.
LOVE IT...im just gonna get a hoop and learn at home..keep up the great work!!
This is amazing! I’ve been practicing on the Lyra(Aka aerial hoop) for around 6 six years, and my best tip for not being dizzy is jumping up and down! I sadly don’t have any tips to make the pain less intense though-
Real tears over here, love. You did AMAZING!!!
YAAAASSSS. My god. I can relate so much to all your pain.
Ahahahah I’m glad 😂 how long have you been doing hoop for?
@@brendaaelizabeth About 4 or 5 weeks now. I'm totally addicted!
Kate Pearce wow amazing! Ahaha I can relate 😂 are you taking lessons?
@@brendaaelizabeth I am! I remember a couple of years back I was scared off by a mixed ability class..they made me attempt delilahs 😂🤦♀️ Now I've done 1-1s I'm going to try group classes again x
I'm totally inspired by you!! Plz don't stop working on it, expect more works from you..!
Thankyou!! Yep I’m working on a lot of new things right now 🥰🥰
That was beautiful. I hope you have kept it up!
You are awesome! 🎉 Congrats, it's not easy!
Thank you so much. I'm gonna start practicing soon and I literally CAN'T WAIT but I'm also kinda scared and watching this was VERY inspirational.💛

Dang som of those transitions wowed me sooo much. I been doing lyra for years and alot of that I won't even attempt yet. You go girl!
Awwww that’s means a lot!! Thankyou sooo much
I was about to say I do lyra since years and my transitions and my spin does look nothing like this lol

Thankyou so much! Yes definitely gonna make more progress vids (:
You go girl! Well done. This is so inspiring, thank you!
Glad you enjoyed ☺️☺️
Omg this was so beautiful!!!! I laughed at the fails, gasped, cringed, and then cried. The song and each move was so amazing. I have been taking Lyra a month now and it is hard. You can see videos on TikTok or CZcams and be like I want to do this. Not realizing this is harder than it looks!! But when you do a routine and it all comes together ❤. Can't wait to see more of your videos. Lots of hugs and shared bruises haha
Awww this message made me smile 🥰 Thankyou so much!

Wow just wow!!!!
I am starting my first class in two weeks. Thanks so much for reminding me I will not be perfect the very first day
Just found your video an WOW! I love it, I love everything about your choreography. It's simply perfect, I haven't got words for it - really, it's stunning! I'm thinking about starting with areal hoop too and you absolutely motivated me to do it even it seems like a lot of pain 😂 it would be so amazing if you could do a video where you show how to learn the poses from your choreography, that would be absolutely amazing! I hope you can understand what I want to say, because I'm from Germany and my English isn't very well. Much love and greetings, YOU ARE STUNNING ❤️💕💖
Thank you so much! Yes I understand completely ❤️

That was soooo truthful, very same to my experience. I loooove the hoop :) but it us a hard job, especially to put routine together, a lot if time ouch, hurts, AAA!!
Ahahha yes! If someone hasn’t touched the hoop they have no idea how much it hurts 😂
im learning how to do this for the first time in a few days and youre so good w it. im nervous about the dizziness, how bad does it get?
Beautiful!!
Thankyou!!
Amazing! Congratulations! Can you share more informations about from where did you the frame that holds the hoop?

You looked pretty amazing for training yourself how in shape we’re u to start
More emotion? Girl i was just bout to say why am i getting so emotional watching that final day 😂
It is so beautiful
Your story is inspiring. ^_^ My aerial hoop dance journey is still just a dream, and a wish. I need to get into a class, but I also can only bug my friend so much to get vaccination shot already! o_0 Your Awesome! Thanks for sharing your real life story! :-)
Aw Thankyou! Let me know when you’d an start classes 😍
Haha I love this I’m about to buy one 😂 and this will prob be me
Yay that’s so exciting!!
i do ariel and if your a beginner you should definitely get a thicker hoop it doesn’t hurt as much after a while tho you basically get numb to the pain, i’ve been doing ariel hoop for about 5 months and i can already hang from my neck
forgot to say that performance was OUTSTANDING 💕💕💕
Oh amazing! What hoop do you have? What are the dimensions?
@@brendaaelizabeth
31.5”
This looks so fun but first I gotta build up muscle and be flexible so I don't kill myself 😂😂
Ahah yes it does come in handy 😂
I'm memorizing your routine.
Let me know how it goes!
@@brendaaelizabeth 😁 I will!
You have amazing channel
Aw Thankyou! Hopfully I can upload more
What an incredible transformation!! I want to update my rig would you mind telling me where yours is from?
Thanks so much! Yeah it’s from crunch time aerial in Australia
ahahha 😂no one but an aerilist understands how important the grunts and sounds are for progress
If I did this with no training, my teacher would Mom-voice me. Like you made some great progress. Kudos. But also, wow is it dangerous to try to train aerial at home with almost no support or previous experience.... Like it's a great way to dislocate things at best and break your neck at worst.
Yeah, but I have a strong basis in body weight training/ street workout which allows me to do even more strenuous things on a bar. So the thing I needed to learn on a hoop was pretty much how to be more graceful 😂 but I understand that for anyone else to teach themselves, especially in such a short amount of time wouldn’t be the safest
ok but I just put the song carousel to the end piece and it fit perfectly and loos amazing.
Oooo really! I’ll try doing that aswell
