Watching from my hospital bed. Thanks for keeping me entertained!
It's a dead skeleton 😂😂 you crack me up
This was the first Ripley's that I ever went in. I've always thought this was the best one maybe because of the outside. I liked the idea that there was a wax figure part as well as a laser tag part at one time. Used to have some really good vending machines and snack bar area.
Same here! I have been dying to revisit!
Two Endings??? 🤣🤣🤣 Love the Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Fun Times!
Rosey H ...hello Rosey...and happy Friday☺
It used to be a tourist area. There used to be a drive-through safari just north of Ripley's until it got flooded in the 90's. I enjoy your videos! It's cool you're in Texas!
Ahhh so good to see and hear that intro again :-)
Can you imagine hating someone so much they put you in the museum lol 😆 Ripley was like GOT EMMM
The scary part had me crying. I literally made the tallest friend I had go with me.
I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I went here for my 9th birthday
I didn't know this Ripley's was there! Cool man, cool!
Welcome back to Texas man
The London (UK) Ripleys has a mirror maze as well. I think I was in there for a good 15 minutes figuring my way out, even though it wasn’t really all that big.
I grew up in DFW and my uncle used to take my sister and me there when we were kids, back when it was mostly the Palace of Wax. Lots of fun memories! We used to call it "the Castle" because of how the building looks.
Always good to see your vlogs. This is another great one. Continued success to you my friend.
3:26 is little mermaid soundtrack... disney corp. gone' freak!
I went there all the time when I was a kid! Really neat to see it again 👍🏻👍🏻
I came here for a field trip!
There was a horror part In the wax museum and the teachers wouldn’t let us walk out so I just cried the entire time
Love that they played happy trails there.
Great vlog blog Jacob .😉. Keep up the great work my friend...
Thagomiser! Did I just hear a "Far Side" reference? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
The last time i went to that location it was when the old wax museum was there 1984. Sadly it burned down and the current building replaced it.
Love the idea of the Tour de Ridley’s! Gotta see ‘em all! Great vid Jacob.👍🏼
how about the Church museum that was built with one redwood tree in Santa Rosa Ca.?
Been there. My daughter was only four at the time and hated the tornado-themed part of the Odditorium.
2 endings nice
Luv these videos!
Been in there 100s time love it
Have a good night Jacob. Lion is in Europe. Lol
sadly the one in San Fran is only about 1/3 what it used to be
5:20
The actual story behind that goose (his name was Andy) is very sad as not only did he have to wear those shoes due to being born with no feet, but was also kidnapped and murdered by someone who to this day, has still not been caught. (They apparently have the perpetrator’s identity, but have chosen not to reveal it out of fear of causing huge publicity.)
I'm watching this in Grand Prairie.
Best Ripley yet. By far
I have an odd feeling those giant crochet lions might've started out as sweaters?....Naw, she probably just liked lions.
Nice as always!
Love Ripleys ... Only a few more left to see... GO FOR IT!!!
Hi from TEXAS
Wayne Harbour - Old Timey Troll
Right in my neck of the woods. Hope you had a great time.
Jacob, I have gone to this Ripley’s throughout my whole life! It used to be a lot more scary. The wax museum used to have a tornado section with a baby crying in a tree.
There also used to be a mermaid that would disappear in the Ripley’s Believe it or not, right before the room with the rice art.
Sounds wild
I wish had a video or something, it would scare the life out of me. 😂
You never disappoint. I did come on last night!
Shoot I spend two hrs. On I4 in Orlando. Fantastic job, you never disappoint don't worry no one will kidnap them at that age!
Not to far from my neck of the woods in Mansfield,TX.Love Ripley,s.Great vid !!!!
Little bit of info on the design of the building.
It is based on The Royal Pavilion in Brighton, England, which was built in 1787 for the then Prince Regent (later King George IV) in the style of the Taj Mahal. It's an amazing building and well worth a visit if you ever make it to the UK. I don't live in Brighton any more but it's only a few miles down the coast, so I'll try and get you a postcard next time I see one.
If you have a spare few seconds, it's worth having a quick Google image search for "Brighton Royal Pavilion" to compare the original to the American version. :)
The video was excellent, as always.
There is also a Ripleys in Branson Missouri Jacob
Giant Rusty Ball of Barbed Wire is the title of my autobiography.
The goose shoes were featured on Johnny Carson way back I think in the 80's. A guy designed them for a goose that had lost its feet to help it walk. I just saw the rerun of that show about 2 wks ago.
Keep up the great work Jacob
Wow that’s pretty cool I need to check it out
Those shoes were for Andy the goose, He was born without feet.
One of my favorite places as a kid but never made it past horror wax museum.
Awesome Ripley's!
Okay but the Little mermaid music playing during near the shrunken head had me shook. 😂
You're a man of many talents Jacob, but pinball doesn't appear to be one of them. Thanks for the tour!
Better than The Louvre!
Cool. I live close to there. When I was a kid that place was called The wax museum and it burned down. Then it was rebuilt as the palace of wax
Hey, I've been there! Pretty neat place.
Congrats on 80k.
Wow, didn't know it was there
Nice one jacob
There's a song about Grand Prairie TX written by the late great Dave Carter:
grand prairie, texas, home on the range
i come here for salvation but i'm just another stranger
on a strip highway
where nobody stops or stays
hell-bent on revival, lookin to grow some roots
i have mortgaged my survival for these worn out cowboy boots
but there's just one horse in forty miles and
he's the prized possession of the dallas zoo
and he feels like a stranger, too
old silver, take me ridin through the foothills of my life
i went easy in the saddle with a lever-action rifle
and a tin canteen
through a field of dreams
way out by the beltline where the armadillos play
with the noble bootjack rabbit in the evening of the day
oh where my brothers have you gone for
i return to thank you for the gifts you gave
but the field is paved
these nights i work the graveyard at the burger king downtown
i get off in the mornin and i lay my burden down
at the convenience store
where stood my old front door
st. peter when you call me, you can find me waitin here
beneath this sad mimosa tree with a quart of drive-thru beer
for home is in the heartland but the heartland cannot save you
when the heart is gone
and home's moved on
All hail our lord and savior, Fur-Bearing Trout!
3:55
i cant even comprehend how you would crochet something like that......
3:26 That music in the background. That's the Jig from The Little Mermaid!
Your in Grand Prairie awesome
Your going to do all the believe it or nots? ,Ripley would be proud.
Awesome!!!
I went there for a fieldtrip on C.I.S
From denton school
That was the first ripleys I've been to
I didn't get to see the wax museum though
The Wildwood New Jersey one is only a mirror maze I think...I go to a tattoo convention every year there but I’ve never been to that ripleys
Awesome i was wondering when you would reach Texas.
You should take a look at the Lindbergh house in Little Falls Minnesota
+The Carpetbagger it would be so cool if u do plan to visit the Ripley's in Baltimore, I'm only maybe 30 minutes away from Baltimore and yet I've never visited it. I'd like to meet u if possible if u do visit there.👍
I haven't been there since it caught on fire years ago , and I only live 30 min from there.
My comment is officially

Cool :)
Did you go to the wax museum that’s there I loved it
Hey you two
OMG! I live in Fort worth
Have you been to the one in Ocean City, Maryland?
Funny, the only one I have been to is the one in San Francisco.
Been there
Just down the road at the ford dealership there was amusement / water park. I remember it as Boardwalk fun park it had a huge pirate ship right off the highway. Here is a link that explains why the museum is in just a odd place.
www.revolvy.com/main/index.php?s=Boardwalk%20Fun%20Park
can you check out the wild venus flytrap forest in Wilmington, North Carolina
You can't eat very large lobster, as they grow/age their shell gets thicker. They are essentially immortal
No, just means ya need a bigger hammer to crack them open, lol. (However, I have heard the bigger the lobster, the less succulent the meat becomes.)
I thought you went to Baltimore !!
San Antonio has a Ripleys believe it or not
I hope you stopped by to Say Hi to Jay Lenno !!
Shorts, are you coming down?
There is a Ripley's museum in Branson Missouri. Doesn't look like you have been there!!
