  • Rebuilding the two speed delta rockwell band saw. Found out that I don't have an upper wheel tracking adjuster in my bag of goodies, so we set out to make one. Also a few updates on band saw progress and modifications.

Don, I always enjoy your fabrications. You will have great satisfaction when you use that saw!

I bought the whole assembly on grizzly at least 3 times. That tensioner gets seized in the slots. It gets destroyed while getting it out. The grizzly parts need cleanup. Think it’s 40 for the 2 castings the pins and the arbor. Bearings are off the shelf. I buy them by the box on Amazon

Ya, these original Delta slides seem to be in decent condition, so I lucked out. I usually buy bearings in bulk overstock so just fish through my parts bin... Can we all say Cheap Skate together!! Haha Don

Hey KT.. No, I'm too far North and Inland. Ide hoped Al Gore was gonna be right back in 99' and the rising sea level would leave me with my own private Island if I bought here... but so far nothing. Think I can sue? Thanks for following. Don

@@donsengine3158 I'd try it, people sue for less. I've got family in Naples haven't seen any of them in twenty years.
