Jordan 1's aren't trendy like they were 5 years ago, which is great for real Jordan fan's.

Love this reimagined release, can’t believe so many people didn’t like it, I get nothing but compliments in person, I think this is a solid 9/10x materials feel great, foot feels comfortable to walk in and color way as always is impeccable, this will age gracefully in my opinion.
Buckets made a valid point. It's like once a shoe is considered a grail how do you top it??? You can't so the only other option is to compliment it or pay homage to it. 2023 has been a great year to cop some cool stuff for or under retail. I love it!!
exactly. And as someone who has the royals, i just cant get myself to grab the A- version of them. I love the OG royals so much that i feel like i would wear these LESS if that makes any sense. Still a beautiful shoe regardless. If you missed on the OG royals, these are a MUST HAVE.

Me and my GF bought two pairs yesterday and we love it,. I guess it's all about being yourself buying it, wearing it and appreciating the shoe. It's all about personal preference and no shoes are ugly when you appreciate the looks and style of it😊,.

@@steveneric127 I live in Oregon. There's an employee store where employees get 50% off and you can get passes from them or be put on a friends and family list. I got a friend who works there, and he's bringing my pair today. But they're also about $140 on StockX in my size.

It looks really good. 9 times out of 10 I’ll pick the leather over suede version of a shoe. But I think the royal panels on this reimagined shoe actually looks better to me.

I'm a purist for sure but I'm liking the reimagined line just to mix things up a little and not just give us they same ol retries over and over again. It could of been a disaster but their doing it with great success. I'm curious what they'll do with the Bred 1s cuz that's def my favorite OG 1 colorway.

As someone just entering the sneaker game, these are my first pair OG colourway Jordans. Absolutely love them already! Went through the doorcrasher experience to get them for an amazing price too for black Friday, only $139 CAD ($102 US). I'm glad the sneaker market has been slowing down man, that means I can start getting other shoes I've been wanting for years 😂

Always love the Royals and to have a twist on it is good. The color just pops out on this one
I personally love these. I like that they kept the same color blocking and really only changed the material and I must say I prefer suede/nubuck over the Jordan 1 releases that go the patent leather route.

these are fire. I don't know how people are not feeling these. I was fortunate to get a pair from someone with an employee discount. so I paid $138. But I would have gladly paid the $200. These were/are a must cop for the collection. Wish i could have doubled up.
Managed to double up at discount - and what’s more, because they were sitting I got a look at several pairs and picked the best two pairs. They are very nice and I suspect that those peeps that slept may regret it down the road - especially when J1s are hyped again (although the icons never go out of style).
Onsale at my local foot locker and sneaker boutiques under retail like 25 to 30 % off grabbed 2 pairs and used flx points so yea solid kop mite even grab a third pair quality of suede is a1 and manufacter quality as well

This was a instantaneous copp from the 1st leaked pictures and to think I was able to get 2 pair is awesome!! Never would've thought! 💪💪🔥🔥🔥
Obviously i like the colorway (an iconic OG AJ1 colorway) but this version i just don't need, already passed when given EA. My '17 leather pair def worn but not in horrible condition and still clean up well & in the rotation. Plus suede can be a pain to clean / keep clean and maintain , can even warp over time & wear. Not super durable either. Thats a headache which i tend to avoid when i can. Even though i like some more than others , overall i just prefer clean close to OG over these reimagined versions. And personally i like to keep it simple with AJ1s with the regular leather often used rather than patent or suede etc.

@@Ronny-Swanton absolutely , i do like them & those who want these should very much go after them. Though if they are "new to the shoe game" i hope they keep in mind the fragility , durability concerns and upkeep aspects with suede. Def a high maintenance material.
Personally even though i don't really buy resale im considering grabbing another '17 pair if the AJ1 prices continue to dip as they seem to be across the board (a few exceptions aside). Especially as DS AJ1s are wearable for quite a long time compared to other Jordan retros. But those who want these Reimagined Royals should go after them and should be not a tough cop. When i got EA they were sitting in pretty much all sizes. Even got a reminder a few hours later to buy and they were still available in basically every size.

I don’t really wear blue especially shoes. I had to have these. I love the way the blue pops against the black. Being all suede style materials just makes it pop that much harder. People will regret sleeping on these for sure.

Me, I tend to think the material just isn’t exemplary with this particular colorway. But, I do like the reimagined series and concept, I’m definitely open to seeing some more suede Jordan 1 colorways.

I think Buckets explained the shoe perfect. It’s a 10 of 10 without ever seeing a OG Royal 1’s but that can’t happen with reality. But they’re 🔥. I was impressed when I got mine! 8/10 to me!
This was a great review on all fronts. That said, these ended up being an easy cop. Still almost every size still available. Great foe those of us that don't need a "collab" to want a great looking shoe...

As a kid royal 1's were my grail I beat my '01 in middle school playing ball and I coughed up a pretty penny to get '13 royals considering how limited they were back in 2014. My 13's are my beaters now and have two pairs of 17's. I'm glad these are sitting and no one is paying attention to them.

How do we get more Buckets commentary? I've been watching these videos for YEARS, and in this video he said more than I've heard him say in AT LEAST the last 2yrs combined hahahaha. With that said, I'm picking up my pair this week from the plug. I coach at a high school and our colors are royal blue, black and white. I'm throwing white laces in mine and rocking them to game one on 11/17/23
