We saw you at the connector trail talking to that XC guy. Barranca, and Oats are the better trails in MDO. Should have went San Luis Obispo and ridden. Much more fun.
Great having cam's on both of you. Worth the extra editing time. Glad to see Yuka on a new ride! Hope Norco stepped up to sponsor that! Might need to tie Yuka on a string in that wind! At least you could tow her like a kite so she doesn't fly away!
Oh my God I recognized it before I read the title! I used to climb my bike up to Oats Peak and would smash a brew at the top. That trail was the best, man! Thank you so much for sharing, I feel like I'm living through it again
Excellent video! I love to see my favorite trails shown off, especially by people really enjoying them. FYI- I've been riding MDO for over 25 years, and I have Never seen it that windy!
Man that's a great video! Good flow trails and lots of great scenery. A place for a relaxing riding experience, Yuka seemed really chill singing as she rode so I know it was enjoyable. Another spot to visit and take a ride.
Awesome - I think we were on the same road trip in Cali up to the Otter. My last vid was Simi Valley and next weeks is this exact ride, but instead I took Barranca down. One of the prettiest rides I've ever done right here. Good stuff you two! 👌
Fun to see the trails I ride a couple of times a week in your video. I agree with your comments on the new Canyon View trail, it has such a gentle steady grade that it really isn't challenging at all. It does however make a good connector to the trails on the other side of Islay Creek (the fire road you were riding on). I love to ride the Oates Peak trail and on the way back drop down to the creek and then ride up Canyon View and descend Hazard Peak trail back to the car, the older Hazard trail isn't technical at all but it has so much more variety compared to Canyon and thus much more engaging. You picked a great time of year to ride MDO as in a couple of weeks those green hills will be brown and dry.
That was probably the windiest day of the year on the central coast. I remember because it was just around the time sea otter was getting started which was super windy here and at Sea Otter. While it's pretty common to have some wind/gusts at Montana De Oro in the afternoon, that was much more than normal! Just FYI.
Hi I love your channel! You probably wont see this but I think your CZcams Channel is really cool and you guys are awesome rider. Yuka is really fun as well.
Super glad you're hitting Cali during this time of year especially after record rains! It's so green and we're having a super bloom, keep the good times rolling Eric and Yuka!
Montana del Oro is a beautiful California State Park with many uses. I really like the dual video recordings from the two of you. It really adds to the pleasure of watching your videos. Did I hear Yuka say, wee? She is so relaxed but tuned into to mountain biking.
Great to see you enjoying some of the trails on So Cal. I have never ridden in Montaña de Oro but it is extremely nice place to hike and enjoy the views.
Also, funny story since you mentioned it. The Windows Bliss background was taken on Highway 12 just outside the town of Sonoma north of San Francisco. You can drive by it if you google the coordinates, though it's without shoulder or pullout in that area.
Thanks for another great video, Yuka is very animated. If I tried to sing while i ride i'd likely pass out. So, out of all the trails you've ridden over the last few months that was your favorite (yours as well as Yuka's)? I hope Yuka's ankle is 100%.
Great stuff Eric & Yuka She Sing very Good Eric 🎶 Nice view at the top if you ever travel to UK 🏴 Wales will Take you Up Snowdon the mountain Brian BKXC went up as it near my home 😉🚴🚴👍
Hello! Love the result of the combination of your two different camera for the same portion of the trail (don't know if explain it correctly 😅). Always a pleasure to watch your vids. Keep it up! Greetings from "le vieux continent" 😊
So cool that you have a westcoastcycling t-shirt on!! I was the one who designed everything on it and am also a member and have been for years. Are you part of the group or do you know someone in it?
Tracey Hannah says the way to relax on the bike and shred is sing! She actually does (saw that on another channel). Since she's world class, I guess it works. ;-)
Very beautiful there! But if you have the time you need to come over here to Montreal and ride. you both would love the trails, the food, and the French culture here bkxc has touched on a sliver that’s here. from the Mexico vids i like how you show the food and the people please come out and showcase this beautiful area please.
I want to know if you are going to be headed through California central valley. If so you should come checkout Chico ,CA. It super fun riding here. Gnarly.
IMBA trails are generally multipurpose and are featureless. Apparently, horse people don't like the gnar. U guys should come back in Summer to ride Tahoes best trail systems. Those trails are built for MTB by riders. Nevada city is another area u must visit when you are in NorCal.
Excellent ride, very beautiful. You are excellent People. May The Most High Creator bless You with all that You need , and then some. Love, and Respect.......Seven Thunders/////// Mountain Biker Extraordinaire !!!!!!!
Here's the video I mention at the end, my opinion for the gold standard green trail!

BCpov is Yuka’s new bike a 29 or 27.5?
We saw you at the connector trail talking to that XC guy. Barranca, and Oats are the better trails in MDO. Should have went San Luis Obispo and ridden. Much more fun.
I dont even ride a bike, but I watched the entire channel last week. I absolutely love watching and seeing a couple enjoy the countries they are in.
Check out Yuka's channel as well, Van Girl Yuka. Her channel goes over the more touristy parts of their travels.
Get a bike and get out on the trails man!

Love the extra footage from Yuka's perspective. It adds a whole new dimension to the edit.
Eric and Yuka are like Chip and Joanna, but of the the mtb world. Yuka cracks me up, instead of “demo day”, it’s “shredding day”.
Man that's a great video! Good flow trails and lots of great scenery. A place for a relaxing riding experience, Yuka seemed really chill singing as she rode so I know it was enjoyable. Another spot to visit and take a ride.
20 sec and I already have better mood ;]

Barranca is definitely the best trail there.
What a cool area to ride in!! Beautiful day too!

Meet you there at 330 today!
@@gregwebster8784 Probably just missed you! I rode Oates/Hazard but was done around 3:15
@@OtterFlash yep! We went the other direction. Hazards, connector, then Oats. I live in Laguna Lake area if you want to ride.

haha Yuka doesn't need music! she makes her own!
“Yuka noises” ... beautiful place .... California has some outstanding trails. 風 が 強い!
Hi I love your channel! You probably wont see this but I think your CZcams Channel is really cool and you guys are awesome rider. Yuka is really fun as well.

Looks like some fun trails there. I will have to check that area out.
Ouiii stickers!
I hope you hiked down to the water at MDO, lots of tide pools, and often there’s seals as well.
*love your videos*
Great to see you enjoying some of the trails on So Cal. I have never ridden in Montaña de Oro but it is extremely nice place to hike and enjoy the views.

This made me sooooo happy. So awesome for you two to be having so much fun riding. I really really liked this edit....... "Oh wow... OH POOP" 😆
My neighbor also sung loudly on a bike at midnight
Haha! 😆
What an absolutely beautiful place!
Thanks for another great video, Yuka is very animated. If I tried to sing while i ride i'd likely pass out. So, out of all the trails you've ridden over the last few months that was your favorite (yours as well as Yuka's)? I hope Yuka's ankle is 100%.
If you're in the area, go down south some and ride Sycamore Canyon and 3rd Tunnel (Kanan Dume Rd).
Such a beautiful place. Thanks for sharing!
Sweet my local trails! Hazard is our usual night ride trail.
Great stuff Eric & Yuka She Sing very Good Eric 🎶 Nice view at the top if you ever travel to UK 🏴 Wales will Take you Up Snowdon the mountain Brian BKXC went up as it near my home 😉🚴🚴👍
Yuka, showed my fiance that women can shred too! love this channel!
that was fun as long as yuka have her Gpro haha
Hi, love the videos, especially Yuka's happy voice but I cant see the link to that trail in japan?
This is pretty. Lovely place to be at.
maybe this was during a Santa Anna event? High (basin) to Low (offshore) creates strong winds.
More in mexico too. We love those dry trails.

You two make me crack up! You guys should just make the move to California! We would love to have you!
Seems fun and relaxing!
Did you do something to quiet your fork? No more asthmatic soprano wheezing.
Not normally your riding style but good video🤟

¿Porque ya no está la opción de subtítulos en español?
Yoooooo. Come ride Fort Collins, Co. Its dope riding I have some vids up.
Goals
did you guys ride the other side? Off of east boundary to the left there is the whole other side of trails.
Ssshh! We can still ride alone there. Don't blow it up. Plus those old trails aren't legal, but they turn a blind to us. So let's keep it going.
Wheeeee!
Subtítulos en español please!!!!
sounds like gizmo
The sampler,bk and bc are in the same state right now.
MABY NOT THE SAMPLER
