  • red.media interviewed Fady Baker, a Palestinian man illegally detained and tortured by Israel for 45 days.
He described Sde Teiman detention center as a "torture center" where all basic human rights are denied and the Israeli army enjoys experimenting new methods of torture on Palestinian bodies. Beatings, sleep deprivation, psychological torture, and rape are some of the methods used by the Israeli army while they systematically abuse and collectively punish Palestinians.
During Israel's invasion of Gaza, thousands of Palestinian men and women have been arbitrarily detained in flagrant violation of International Law. Their detention was recorded by Israeli troops who shared shocking videos and images of undressed, injured, tortured and dead Palestinians. The occupation forces proudly documented the racist and colonial violence that fuels the ongoing genocide.
As of today, Israel has not provided any information about the number of prisoners held, their identities, their health status, whether they are alive or dead, or their location. Survivors' voices and testimonies are the only source of information for documenting the violence perpetrated by the Israeli army or for obtaining information about loved ones who are still undergoing detention and tortures.

Same. I can honestly say, because it’s new and pretty discomforting to me, that I’ve never hated a national collective before. (I know there are some good Israelis, because I’ve met some, but they had left permanently because they hated Israel too!)

@@tethergobrrr There are a FEW decent ones who were born there and have nowhere else to go. I love @ireallyhateyou and Dr. Ori Goldberg particularly.

@@warmlycalculated390 The first Israelis I met were like that, kind of. AntiZionists who left to avoid service, travelling around Asia while waiting on acceptance into higher education abroad. No intention of going back but didn’t have dual citz. They wouldn’t even talk to the ex IDF in the same hostel.

Difficult to watch, but everyone needs to hear this. I hope this man and everyone else in Gaza gets justice.

Trying to convince liberal Americans that they’re comfort is less important than human rights is so hard. They are so entrenched in their belief that their government is there to take care of people. You refused to even open their eyes and see the truth. It’s very frustrating. It’s also enlightening.

I would like to take every fellow American I know who wants to ignore this and make them sit there and watch this testimony with their eyes pinned open.
