Kevin feige DID have a map for the mcu. That ended with end game. Disney plus forced them to begin creating shows to get subscribers and launch the streaming platform. Feige was not in control of the entire map any longer. In order to make new, fresh X-men films, they have to wait until the contracts expire. They couldn’t work on a X-men movie until 5 years after dark Phoenix, which was delayed because of the acquisition. It has nothing to do with Beau. Beau should be writing the films but he was fired. We still don’t know why.
As to why Marvel has not yet produced as X-Men movie... my understanding is that the Fox actors contract stipulated that the roles belonged to them, meaning if Marvel wanted to produce an X-Men movie they would have had to use the Fox actors. I may be wrong. I can't cite a source. But this would explain why it has taken Marvel so long to get to the X-Men. They were waiting for the actors' contracts to expire.
De mayo was a problem to work with so much so they don’t want him back and plus he’s done inappropriate things on his only fans page so that didn’t look very good for the company and this could go for any company
@@tawnyh8878 I'll look into this writer because I don't know if he is really a fan and know the comics. Marvel indeed sometimes hire anybody with popularity and not necessarily knowledge and respect for a franchise.
And with that I'm not watching anymore. If he isn't on the project then I don't have high hopes for who's coming in during the new stuff. We seen how that went with Zack Snyder Justice League. I don't want to go the same thing with this.

Why hire a writer that had no involvement in X-Men '97 instead of just hiring the writer of '97? It's such an easy thing to do.

It is possibly the best xmen adaptation.
