I don't think people are programmed to stay at home to wait for streaming or many of the other hurdles and excuses of why theater attendances are down. The experience has to outweigh the prices, the desire to wait, the discomfort of going to the theater, or whatever turning the audience off. If they make good films and back them with good marketing, the people will come.

This is some bullshit! It feels like these folks don't care. There's no reason this movie shouldn't have already been made except the one you pointed out. They are afraid to go all the way with Blade and make it rated R. It's a movie about vampires and night creatures. That doesn't translate well in a PG world. The reason why folks are excited for Deadpool is because we know it won't be typical MCU fare. They have to get back to mixing shit up and balancing the tones of their movies to best serve its characters.

Feige never had interest in making a Blade film. He wanted a Bloodline, the daughter of Blade, film disguised as a Blade film. No one can agree on the project’s direction so writers, directors, and actors keep walking. Feige probably doesn’t care about the project as a whole now because he can’t get talent willing to tarnish their reputation for these flops being made.

I am sorry that Feige can't get his ass out of the clouds and get his studio's ass out of the clouds to give Blade a chance as an R-rated movie.

Well, characters like Blade, Ghost Rider, Daredevil and The Punisher have potential for R-rated adaptations, but if they keep it PG-13 then it’s probably not going to be as good as we’d expect it to be. But let’s see how the MCU handles that.

This show lacked proper context to everything that was going on in episode 3, and the weird ritual crap was disturbing and made no sense to the plot.

Studios need to under that there certain IP that should be handled by elite writers and directors.
