    Kind of amazing that in 2022 something actually works like it says. I used it in my 1966 Chrysler and not a single drop of leakage. It works.

      Agreed, there are a lot of snake oil style products in the `magic' aisle in the parts store. This product worked for me but I ultimately rebuilt the rack anyway.

    Tried, it works for my Honda Odyssey. Filled up 1/3 bottle, then refilled 1/3 bottle after 1 week. After that, the leak stop. Highly recommend this treatment, as I tried other brand, it doesn't work at all.

    Better than buying a 150 dollar hose.
    3 months later still good driving from Memphis to olive branch !!!.

    • @suprachefgarage9845
      @suprachefgarage9845  Před 4 lety

      Is it leaking or just empty? You should have some power steering fluid and blue devil together. Follow the owners manual for which type of power steering fluid to use as well.

    Hey brother good feedback on the product, Ihave a major leak, both sides of the boots of the rack are leaking & then I noticed under the reservoir tank of the power steering a puddle of fluid.. Ik this is good for the rack & pinion seals but what if it’s leaking under the reservoir tank?

    • @suprachefgarage9845
      @suprachefgarage9845  Před 3 lety +1

      I dont know if it will fix a reservoir leak especially if its a puncture.

      @@suprachefgarage9845 I’ve been doing research & apparently is air in the tank when ihave the car on making the fluid get out from the cap, soo ihave to change a O ring... but one more question would it be a good idea to use prestone fluid that has stop leak with the blue devil stop leak?

    Hi, the steering fluid in my 2008 Mazda5 was leaking and was empty. I used the ATF type M transmission fluid to fill up. I was told the transmission fluid works for power steering as well. I find the steering is instantly smoother and easier. Now my question is, can I use the Blue Devil transmission stop leak in my steering fluid tank, because basically I filled it up with transmission fluid?
    The reason I am asking is I already have half a bottle of unused Blue devil transmission stop leak.
    Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

    • @suprachefgarage9845
      @suprachefgarage9845  Před 2 lety +1

      I can't make a proper recommendation on that, I would suggest you email blue devil to ask what they think. First though I would locate the leak and see if it is a seal or hole somewhere

    With a leaky power steering why would drive your vehicle two hrs away from home??, that's crazy, i would jack the car up and turn the steering wheel .

    • @suprachefgarage9845
      @suprachefgarage9845  Před 3 lety

      I agree, that does sound crazy. Its not meant to repair a hole; I'm pretty sure it's just meant as a temporary repair. The car was leaking regularly as it was so I see no harm in driving it the 2 or 3 hours. I just the stop leak in and drove it like I normally would. Really the best thing to do is just fix the leak whether it be changing the rack or servicing the powersteering pump

      I don't endorse the product and am not compensated for using it. It worked for me for the time being and I installed a new rack much later. My issue was leaking seals and it seemed to do the trick for a while. But I would recommend just fixing what's broken instead of using products from the 'magic' aisle in the parts store. Thanks for watching anyhow.
