Katsucon was even more incredible than last year, I think this has been my favourite con ever in terms of having an absolute blast with friends and meeting new folks, as well as being very proud of what I've achieved with this video.
I get that the editing might not be everyone's cup of tea, but this is more or less the vision I set out to achieve and I'm wholeheartedly proud of myself for following through with it.
As always, thank you so much to everyone I filmed over the weekend and my apologies if I couldn't fit you in this time (and by god, I tried!), there's always the next con!

This video is full of all the stuff I like in cosplay videos. Cosplayers are talented, they look happy and the shots give their costumes and details a place to shine, the setting is appropriate for all cosplayers, the camera work is clever and full of good ideas, the editing is also very intelligent and plays a lot with the rythm, without being difficult to follow. All the split shots are so clean and elegant, I just have to say : this is an awesome work !
I wish we had more videgraphers like you in France. In France cosplay video isn't something huge like in the US, and we don't have many cool videographers who take efforts and time to create something nice. (I didn't say we don't have any, we have some cool people, but cosplay videos are something i really REALLY love and i wish i would do more videos of my costumes, that's where we can be at the top of our roleplay !)

@@Electrospectrum I also with I could go to US and UK cons (especially to have a opportunity to shoot and film with talented people like you), but it's difficult to pack costumes for a long trip without having problems at customs or just breaking them during the trip... So, I'm thinking about going to the London Comic Con in october, let's hope I'll be able to get there.
We have some gret vidoegraphers in France, but here cosplay video is something people never care about. Most of french cosplayers aren't interested in getting filmed, cosplay enthousiasts don't watch cosplay videos, so our videographers feel like their work isn't recognized, that's why we don't have lots of videographers in France. But if you want to see cool french cosplay videos, take a look at Psyk4atomique production (I really love his work, and I'm in some of his latest videos ^^ ) and Asimagic Pix, these guys are great !
How can something be so consistently stunning for 4 and a half minutes???? That's just what you get from an electrospectrum video!!

AHHHH Your Cosplay showcases are and will always be my favorites! Mainly because you show off what the cosplay community looks like. Every shape, size, color, gender, detail, etc, and everyone always looks wonderful and happy. It's a reminder how vastly different we are, but still share so much heart and passion towards the craft. I really applaud you on capturing those moments, bringing out the creative side in people and combining everyone's hard work into one video. You're the best Chase! Fantastic job as always!

I really liked how you would do close up shots of really impressive yet small aspects of costumes. It made me see just how much these cosplayers worked on their stuff and made me appreciate it on a whole new level.

This was so fantastic! I smiled so many times watching this (predictably, literally every time I saw a CR cosplayer) but in general, this video had such a fun vibe! I really loved the split-screen, I was excited to see it watching you practice with it, and set to this song it just looked so fantastic. I really loved the pace- upbeat without being so fast you didn't get a chance to appreciate each cosplay and some of the stunning details you brought attention to! So glad you're happy with what you achieved because you really produced something great!

Wow I really like the edit/formatting of this. You can show different angles/detail shot of the cosplays and get more cosplays in w/o having the video be hella long, it's great :D Katsucon def looks fun from this video, hope I can go to it sometime in the future ^^
